"Naruto, how did you get this strong?" Kakashi asked directly, unable to hide his curiosity.
Naruto didn't answer right away. Instead, he sat down next to Kakashi and asked, "Kakashi-sensei, do you think I can trust you?"
Seeing Naruto's serious expression, Kakashi had a strange feeling—like his answer to this question would change his life forever.
Memories of his time with Minato-sensei and Kushina flashed through his mind.
Struggling to sit up, he finally spoke. "As long as you don't harm Konoha, you can trust me completely."
"I have no hatred for Konoha. I already know who my parents were—Fourth Hokage Namikaze Minato and Uzumaki Kushina. Haha, that means I'm the son of a hero, doesn't it? Am I right, Kakashi-sensei?" His tone sharpened at the last sentence.
Kakashi's eyes widened in shock.
"How did you find out? Everyone in the village who knew was under strict orders to keep it secret. But… you're right. You are the Fourth Hokage's son."
Naruto continued, "Sensei, I know far more than you think. By the way, do you remember my dream?"
Kakashi recalled what Naruto had said on the rooftop:
"My dream is to live with my parents and become Hokage."
"Naruto, your parents… they're gone."
"If I had a way to bring them back, would you help me make my dream come true?" Naruto looked up at the sky, avoiding Kakashi's gaze.
Hearing this, Kakashi responded logically, "Naruto, your parents are dead. There's no way to bring the dead back to life."
"Kakashi-sensei, I'm just asking—if it doesn't harm Konoha, would you help me bring my parents back? Whether it's possible or not… that's my problem."
Kakashi fell silent for a moment.
"…Alright, Naruto. As long as it doesn't threaten Konoha's safety, I'll help you. What do you want me to do?"
"It's not time yet. I'm not strong enough to bring them back right now. I have to wait for the right moment. But sensei, please keep my strength a secret."
"I can do that. But Naruto, promise me you won't do anything that could harm Konoha. If you do… I'll be the one to stop you."
Naruto burst out laughing. "You think you can beat me now?"
Kakashi: "..." That's too much, Naruto!
"But remember what you said, sensei. If anyone does something that threatens Konoha, you have to stop them."
Kakashi felt like there was some hidden meaning in Naruto's words, but he couldn't figure out what it was.
"Sensei, are we still doing the bell test or not? If we are, I want to try stealing them again!" Naruto cracked his knuckles and looked at Kakashi with a grin.
Kakashi shivered. This was too much! He keeps calling me "sensei" so politely, but when it comes to fighting, he shows no mercy! And now he even wants another excuse to beat me up?! Wait… was he serious when he said he didn't like me before???
Naruto took a small bottle of splash-type healing potion from his bag and smashed it on the ground. A red glow spread out, quickly healing Kakashi's injuries. In just a moment, he was fully recovered.
"Naruto, what is this? It heals even faster than medical ninjutsu!"
Naruto leaned in close to Kakashi's ear and whispered, "Secret."
