Chapter four : Marriage?

I stepped into the office a little terrified and unsure of what next to say , I could not even keep eye contact with him because I was afraid he would reject my offer or even worse call the cops on me thinking I might have lost my sanity.

I made sure to keep my eyes glued to the floor before blurting the words In an inaudible tone "marry me"'

After not receiving any response,not a yes or a no I raised my head up to see him looking elegant and dreamy.

My dumb self could not utter the words in my head .

While i struggle to talkand get frustrated at the number of failed attempts, he stands up and takes long strides towards me as I am now standing close to the door.

I don't know why I got nervous all of a sudden.As he came closer I took a step back to be stopped by the wall.

As we stood with only few centimeters away from making out in his office

His intense gaze made me blush a little,wanting so bad to leave this position I said a little louder" I want to marry you"'

He seamed stunned by my words but remained in the same position as he was I could feel his breathe and it seamed to intensify .

I patiently waited for a rejection or at least questions but nothing the look he had previously had been replaced with something else I could not pinpoint.

I sat quietly in my office working on some projects when I heard a knock expecting an employee I was caught of guard when she walked in

She might not be the woman many would think I fancy but there was something about her that seemed to pull me towards her everytime I see her .

While in my thoughts I heard something that sounded like she asked me to marry her to be a little sure about what I heard I moved closer to her and watched her fidget the fact that she was blushing even made it a more wholesome experience.

When she repeated the question I was a little shocked by the offer and knew something was up but didn't question her and accepted her offer whole heartedly.

When are we getting married then I said to a smile emerge on her face .

"' Let's do it now"' she said eagerly and tugged on my suit indicating that follow her and I did.

After a long drive and signing on some document Audrey was now my wife and l her husband which made feel a sense duty and obligation to her.

While in the car Bruno knowing what we had done seemed to be shocked and a little confused as to why we got married so fast but remained quiet as usual.

I decides that we needed to get rings so everyone would know she was taken already

, I ordered Bruno to drive to a Jewl store and of course he drove to Artie's Jewl store ,this is why I trusted Bruno he knew when to speak and when not too.

Artie had been a childhood friend along with Alex and Martin.

We had been close as a result of our parents being close and doing business together.

We arrived at R and ms jewelry store and went to the VIP SECTION where we met the flirtatious and charismatic friend of mine

The moment he sited me with a girl next to me he seemed stunned but quickly shifted to a smile and walked towards us and totally ignored my existence by hugging Audrey right in front of me.

After which he gave a seat next to him off course, and started to bombard with questions and compliments.

He gave absolutely no room for her to even answer any of the numerous questions.

Noticing her slightly flustered look for asked him to get wedding rings and he seemed to stop in his tracks took one good look at Audrey and went to get rings for us two.

Now I was alone with her again I simply apologized for my friends actions and she simply smiled at me and said nothing else before I could say anything more Artie and his loud self was back.

"So Mr and Mrs Rodriguez make your pick I looked to see her trying to not make her red cheeks obvious.

After about an hour we chose a ring she particularly liked I paid and we both left

Back in the car I couldn't believe I was now married to Audrey I never thought I would get married it was a real shocker even to me

The way she switched from bold to shy in seconds made me feel curious about many things I had not thought of before how she would be when angry and if baby making would be allowed in this marriage.
