I immediately felt nervous when I saw Logan's gaze on me. I avoided Marcus' gaze, and he didn't notice that I didn't like what he did. He just greeted Logan. With anxiety, I hurried to the elevator.
"Done for today, Logan? Are you going home?" I heard Marcus' cheerful question as I entered the elevator. Both of them were looking at me. Marcus was smiling while Logan had a frown.
Before Logan could answer Marcus, the elevator door closed. I couldn't concentrate on anything. I had a lot on my mind. Like Marcus' kiss, Logan's gaze, and Sophie's sobbing. But as soon as I entered the Lounge and immediately heard Sophie crying, my thoughts shifted to her problem.
Sophie was putting on mascara even though we were cleaning the building, so I could clearly see how it melted under her eyes. Her tears were black because of it and her eyes were swollen.
