The Date 1

It was a huge room filled with Hour glasses, floating all arranged in alphabetical order. In the room dimly lit by candles, Abaddon was seen walking around his wings spread as his eyes were set upon a particular row the row's of X's and J's, he saw xinrui among his sand in the hourglass just ended up in the other side and the loud chimes of bells were heard, as he left the room flames surrounded him and the next moment he was dressed in a perfectly tailored black Brioni suit, the fine silk wool giving it a sleek, luxurious feel.

The jacket hugs his broad shoulders perfectly while the trousers fit his long legs like a glove. Beneath the suit jacket, a matching waistcoat and a crisp black shirt and a dark red tie. His raven hair falls loosely on his chiseled face.

A woman, in a sauna slowly put on her robe, covering her flying phoenix tattoo covered her full back. Her assistant came in and handed her her phone before leaving. The woman noticed the hour glass hadn't been turned over so she did it.

Going to the mirror to take mirror selfies, she noticed each light turning off, the sound of footsteps getting louder. Until Abaddon appeared behind her his chilling smile widening unnaturally.

"Cheese"

Abaddon said in a cold voice causing the woman to jolt.

"You didn't forget it was today did you?"

"It's today?!"

The woman heaved heavily her chest moving up and down. She quickly took the hourglass, throwing it Abaddon but it was just a few inches away from his face before it was engulfed in flames, turning into the exact hourglass that was in that huge room. His fingers traced along the fine cursive writing of her name at the bottom.

"Chun Li that's your name right?"

He said now looking at her, but chun was frozen in place not daring to make a sound.

"Stupid question sorry"

His smile winded unnaturally the hour glass burnt again, turning into a scroll sealed with a black snake symbol. Chun immediately ran to the door but it was locked and no one could hear her screams, her cries for help.

"Wouldn't be amazing to have an unlimited time at the flip of an out glass?"

"Please they have to be another way extend the contact eh….. Sign a new one even"

"There's no point in resisting let's have a simple goodbye but there's no need you'll see me in hell.Hell! -where you were supposed to be 3 minutes ago"

His answer was blunt, not sparing Chun a glance as he tapped on the snake seal. The seal became alive wrapping around Abaddon an upside down cross appeared on his forehead it had a burning glow. He was soon engulfed in flames before revealing his true form his wings spread wide as he approached Chun, his eyes glowing gold, an unearthly glow.

Chun immediately slapped Abaddon, throwing things at home but they all went through him.

"Leave me! I'm not going anywhere with you… you fowl creature! Go away"

"But no human would willingly die"

Abaddon Mumbled to himself the scroll immediately turning into his scythe he swung it around enthusiastically he then looked at Chun dead in the eye.

"You know better, Let's go"

Chun responded by throwing a glass cup at him. Abaddon sighed walking to her more like dragging himself over, his sycthe making a loud screech on the tiles.

"Please you don't know how much I've worked to get here"

Chun knelt down, her hands clasped tightly as she cried. Abaddon scoffed.

"I know everything, you are here thanks to me 20 years ago your husband passed a pathetic marriage you were 19 if i wasn't mistaken. The day of his funeral You wanted his wealth and power and you didn't want it to end until day you die that day is today!"

But-

"Your wish was money and power and I fulfilled it regardless what you did"

"How about my step-sons life? Take his in my place!"

"I'm loving this job there's three reasons why but one is the deal is fair my part is the other parties soul"

Abaddon's smile widened, Chun peed herself crying she was a total mess. Suddenly her breath hitched he tried standing up but couldn't move

"That's all I want"

A loud thud was heard from the lobby, Her assistant who always had eyes on her immediately ran to see what happened. Seeing his beloved mistress lifeless in a pool of her pee shattered his whole mental state

The soul Chun knelt beside her assistant, looking at her dead body. Before having a chance to touch it a python wrapped around her hands, before turning to pure gold.

"How is hell like?"

Chun asked her voice echoed but no one could hear her.

"It burns with unnatural heat, the the cries for mercy- Delightful"

As Abaddon walked away, Chun followed but her movements were against her will like a force pulling her to Abaddon.she turned her head, only to see her assistant kissing her dead body but she couldn't do much as all she could control was her head.

"Disgusting isn't it"

Abadddon scoffed and walked away Chun following close.

High above the city highlights, a rooftop lounge sprawls out like a secret garden. Soft, plush seating areas surrounded with glass tables filled with flickering candles. A long sleek bar runs on one side, made of polished mahogany and backlit with LED lights.

Fēi and Beiye just arrived immediately falling inlove with the place. Just as they were about to take their seats, a waiter came bowing to them.

"I'm sorry but the entire lounge has been booked"

"Ah he even told him today is my birthday"

Fēi said calmly but her displeasure was clear rolling her eyes she was about to leave, Beiye held her back by the collar leaving the waiter stunned.

"It's a male customer I correct? We're his guest"

Beiye said trying to hide her annoyance with a smile, showing off her perfect pearly white teeth.

"Then right this way please"

The waiter said leading them inside.

"I wonder what the fuss is about"

"You're a celebrity, it's your birthday, he arranged a private meeting that's sweet"

"Papa would have done the same they are surely soulmates he should marry papa instead"

"Quiet"

Beiye took a seat at the bar, putting on her glasses and brought out a book. The clink of Fēi's heels were getting louder as she aproached the man who had a book similar to Beiye's ignoring Fēi completely.

"You can at least mark your page"

Fēi said taking her seat opposite him. The man sighed dropping the book his face coming to full view, Fēi's mouth opened slightly she looked over to see Beiye's glasses on top of her nose sharing the same expression. Abaddon folded the page of his before setting it aside his eyes burning with fury but retained his calm demeanor.

Fēi snapped back to reality looking the other way she said

"I should have you know that I have no interest in men I'm married to my work"

Abaddon sighed picking up his book and pen drawing doodles on the back

"Be married to your work or bed it's non of my concern if you want to share personal information can it be your bank details I could use the extra cash"

Fēi looked at Beiye trying to communicate, but Abaddon turned to look at Beiye she turned back to her book immediately.

"Your assistant has no advice whatsoever to give you now"

"I'm sorry have we met before?"

"you don't remember me?"

"No I-"

"-Then we haven't meet!"

"Didn't your mother teach you about good manners?!"

"A dying breed is insignificant to me"

Hearing Abaddon's words Beiye dropped her book and brought out her phone pretending to play games but she had other plans.

-he is a handsome crackhead

Fēi thought to herself before they stared at each other for 5 seconds, she immediately picked her bag and left Beiye followed behind her.

"Where are you going"

"To Uriel"

"No that man…. Something is off about him"

Fēi stopped not because of Beiye but because Hoa Wei sent her a picture of the progress on his physiotherapy with the caption "The date is going well eh?"

"…..go in there and tell me what you observe about him"

Fēi was too distracted, by the guilt she felt seeing her grandfather trying to make her happy.

"Set a 30 minute timer signal me once it's done"

Fēi said before walking back inside, slamming her purse on the table, Abaddon looked up surprised running his hand through his hair.

-she is a full blown crack head!

He thought before chuckling, his hands clasped together, his brows furrowed trying to understand the situation.

I booked this restaurant for a private private meal

Because you don't want me in any scandals that sweet

Fēi said sarcasm dripping from her voice as she crossed her legs and folded her arms, looking outside the window.

"Scandals what are you…If you are hungry other there are restaurants"

"Then you leave you Sean like an outdoor person"

"-My imps haven't been let out of hell for 70 years where did she get this madness from?-"

Abaddon looked at Fēi with confusion and if he was to be honest Fēi did make him want to cry

"My assistant will eat too"

Fēi said quietly looking the other direction
