Chapter 7

The meeting ended, Antonio returned to his office but couldn't find Melissa. He called the receptionist but was informed she left hours ago. He sat down wondering where she had gone, where she lives and who she is.

He never wanted a secretary, he feels like it's a waste of time. He never thought he would trust anyone concerning his health but the way she handled everything made him question his decision.

There was a knock on the door. "Come in" Antonio said. A well dressed man walked in. "Boss I was informed you had an attack" He said. "Sebastian, I'm fine. A young lady helped me but she vanished" Antonio said.

"With all do respect, no one can vanish into thin air. Who is she" He asked. "My new secretary" Antonio replied. Sebastian fell silent, he pondered the possibility of Antonio having a secretary. "It was Roberto's idea" Antonio said.

"It's a good thing she showed up when she did, who could have saved you?" Sebastian asked. "I owe her my life. I want you to find her with immediate effect" Antonio said.

Where the heck is he expecting me to find a girl I haven't even seen, I barely know her name.

Antonio got a text on his phone from his sister. "Big bro, have you watched the new?" She asked. "No" he replied. "Well what are you waiting for? Check the news"

"Sebastian turn on the news" Antonio said. Sebastian obediently turn on the TV. On the screen showed cars chasing each other. The car in front didn't stop for anyone, not even the police. The driver seems skilled. A lady came out with a gun and shot her enemy.

Sebastian's phone rang. "Put me on speaker" She said. "You're on" Sebastian said. "Bro what do you think?" She asked. "The driver is no amateur, I'll give you that" Antonio said.

"They were able to hack into the satellite, traffic light even CCTV cameras. They seem like a pro" She said. "So how are we watching this if all the CCTV is down?"

"It's the news chopper" Alejandra replied. "The police weren't able to arrest them?" "I'm afraid so" She replied.

"What a bunch of pussy" Antonio said. The room fell silent as they both watched the news. Antonio observe the driver drove to a bridge. Is he thinking of jumping into the water? I underestimated the driver he has guts. Antonio thought.

Antonio was able to see the car door flew open someone jumped out as the car drove into the water. "What a thrilling show" she said.

"Alejandra you're still on the phone?" "Come on Antonio, don't ruin the fun" Alejandra said.

"Focus on your restaurant" Antonio said. "{sigh} fine, I'll bring home your favorite" Alejandra said as she ends the call. "Cancel all my plans, I need to meet abuelita" Antonio said.

Ariana returned home, she met a neighbor downstairs. "Uh excuse me...." The lady said to Ariana causing her to stop in her tracks. "Good evening, is there a problem?" Ariana asked sweetly. "My english is no good but.. uh... A girl, pretty girl... Blood everywhere... With baby they go to your upstairs and no come down still" She said.

Ariana didn't understand her. Could she be mistaking me for someone else? Ariana thought. "Thank you" Was all Ariana could say as she made her way upstairs.

Getting upstairs she saw Sunny, Audrey and Sofia seated in the room. The atmosphere was gloomy. Sofia ran to Ariana. "Aunty bear!!"

"Baby bear, I've missed you" Ariana said. "I've been waiting for you since... Now I can take a nap" Sofia said. "Alright, just nap on any bed you want" Sunny said. "Okay" Sofia said as she went upstairs.

"What are you doing here?" Ariana asked Audrey. Sunny couldn't alter a word. "Aren't you suppose to be on your honeymoon? Where's Derrick anyway?"

"Ariana I think you need to sit down first" Sunny said with tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean any harm. I never knew things would end like this" Audrey said. "What have you done?" Ariana asked with a dark expression.

"It's Melissa, she's.... She...." Sunny stuttered. "Where's Melissa" Ariana asked. "I called her over to pick Sofia but things got out of hand, they found us and...." Ariana cut her off "who found you?"

"I played a game in the dark web.... I didn't realize it unlocked a secret file that belonged to the Russian government"

"Why would you be meddling with matter that doesn't concern you? Give them the fucking file?"

"I don't have the file" Audrey said. "Where is Melissa?" Ariana asked. "They risked their lives to save us.... They drowned... Melissa asked me to save Sofia, she gave me your address before I jumped out of the car" Audrey said.

Sunny could only weep silently. Ariana fell to the ground in bewilderment. "Your bluffing, right? This is some kind of a sick joke cause if it is it ain't funny" Ariana said. "I saw it on the news, the car was found but there was no body found inside the car..... Melissa and Derrick is g..."

"Please don't say it" Ariana pleased. "I'm so sorry... I didn't mean for any of this to happen" Audrey said. "Liar!!!" Ariana yelled. "Ariana now isn't the best time for this. Sofia is fast asleep" Sunny said.

"How can you show your face here? You stole Sofia from us, now you want to give her back? After taking everything from us? We trusted you, now that you have problems you run back to us.... You sly fox" Ariana said.

Ariana couldn't hold back her anger she stormed out of the house. "Ariana!! Wait" Sunny called out but there was no response. Ariana didn't know where she was going but she went where ever her legs took her.

She found herself in a bar drinking away her sorrow. "Hey beautiful, can I join you?" A voice asked. "Fuck off" Ariana said in disgust. "Ouch fisty, I love them fisty" He said. Ariana ignored the disgusting pervert.

A guy stepped into the conversation. "Ariana are you alright?" He asked. Ariana looked up and smiled sweetly. "You look like my boss" She said. "Come on, let's go home" Roberto said. He carried her on his back and dropped her in the car.

"What's your house address" Roberto asked. "I don't want to go home.... I can't take it... I can't take it" Ariana said as she sobbed. Roberto sigh. "Let's go to my house then" Robert said.

He drove to his house, he dropped her couch. "Stay right there, don't move. I need to take a shower" Roberto said. Ariana stood up, she swayed across the room making her way to the fridge. She found bottles of beer and continued from where she stopped.

Roberto came out of his room and found Ariana had already taken a lot of alcohol. "Come have a drink with me" Ariana said. "Aren't you drunk already?"

"I'm not drunk. I'm sober" Ariana said. Roberto chuckled. She kinda cute when she's drunk. I wonder what happened to her, why's she so messed up. Could it be a bad relationship?

Ariana stood up. "I need to get home" Ariana said. "You're drunk"

"I'm not drunk, I need to find her. She can't be dead.... She has support me in all my short comings" Ariana said as tears began rolling down her cheeks. Roberto thought this was a rather weird situation, he has always been dedicated to his job. He's not one to meddle in peoples affair.

Looking at Ariana he's questioning his sanity, Why he brought this lady twice to his house. Ariana fell to the ground. Roberto sat beside her as she cried her eyes out.

He hands her a box of tissue. "I need a hug" Ariana said in a seductive tone. Robert felt this weird sensation. Damn why did that move me?

"Please" She said in a whisper. He pulled her into his arms. Ariana broke down, she felt safe, right here she didn't need to be strong. Here she could be weak and vulnerable, right now feels like she's protected.

Roberto is surprised that she managed to make him do things he wouldn't normally do. "I'm sorry, I... I... I'm a mess... I don't even know what I'm doing. Please don't abandon me like they did" Ariana said.

What the hell is she talking about? "I'm not useful to anyone, maybe that's the reason they didn't come looking for me" Ariana said.

Roberto became bored of listening to her feel sad and talk down on herself.

I need to shut her up so she could go to bed. "How would I live now? We've been through a lot together" Ariana said. Roberto pulled Ariana close that their faces we inches apart.

"Shut up" Roberto said. They could feel their breath on each other's faces. Roberto stares at her lips pondering if he should taste her lips.

Why does he feel this way suddenly? His employee is in house. The proximity is too close, he wants to resist because she's vulnerable right now. She bites her lips as she looks deep into his eyes.

She pulls away. "I'm so sorry, you're right I'm drunk" She said with a weak smile. Roberto placed his hand on her cheek, pulling her gently to him. Screw this, I can't resist this woman anymore. His lips touched hers.

There was a feeling he has never felt before. Her lips are so soft and wet. Each movement was something magical. Ariana slowly pulls away, trying to catch her breath.

Roberto slowly kissed her lips again. Ariana pulled his hair causing him to hiss with pleasure. He gently kissed her neck, he loved her reaction to each kiss planted on her neck. Ariana looks at Roberto. "Take me to bed, I want to sleep" She said.

Roberto cussed underneath his breath. Why would she do this after getting all excited.
