TL;DR: More cultivation power fantasy than true Bleach fic. It would benefit greatly from an Alternate Universe tag. Disappointing if you want a story that 'fits' faithfully in Bleach. Writing Quality ★★★★☆ Stability of Updates ★★★★☆ Story Development ★★☆☆☆ Character Design ★★☆☆☆ World Background ★★★☆☆ ___ This, to put it crudely, is a sect power fantasy in Bleach drag. It has some trappings of Bleach, but the archetypes are mostly cultivation, down to the MC’s near-villainous attitude. That switch gets flipped real hard soon after the system activates, which is a shame because the MC starts off as a totally cool guy who's diligent and relatable, only to end up face-slapping to the top of the verse, deciding fates on a whim. Series original characters are off. Can you imagine a petty Byakuya or a bootlicking Renji? I guess these character choices make a certain kind of sense since his system thrives on him creating ever greater peril for himself to survive (that's dubious though, since his threat is not scaling at the same rate as his ridiculous growth), and for that, MC needs a lot of manufactured conflict to drive him to make certain choices. Anyway, if you’re looking for a reasonably faithful fic that builds on Bleach conventions and characterizations, this will disappoint you. As of now, I have read up to chapter 30 and have skimmed to the end of the available chapters, and the way the story is developing, it’s really hard for me to fully get into.
