Charter: Dwarf Settlement

The next day, at dawn, a brother and sister came to one of the caves covered with red diamonds, and from the cave came the snoring of whatever was still asleep, so Isil shouted loudly:

-My boy, it's time to get up! - The Mistress's bass voice echoed throughout the cave, the snoring stopped at once and two huge red eyes with snake-like pupils appeared in the cave, the cave began to tremble and everything began to rumble with great dynamic sounds, a great white dragon emerged, not quite a dragon, for this creature was the size of the stone giants that stood at the entrance to the Dwarven Mountains, and its appearance was more like that of a lion. It was a cross between a dragon and a lion, but instead of fur it had dragon scales all over its body, even on its wings, and only at the tip of its tail was there a covering of white hair that resembled an arrowhead.

-You're beautiful, Siv, come to mummy! -Compared to this creature, the small dwarves, only a few feet long, could fit into the dragon's paw and were like his little finger.

-HAHAHAHAHA! Don't drool on me! -The creature approached Isil and began to caress her head while licking her head with its stiff tongue, making strong vibrating noises like a car engine.

-Can we fly now? -The dwarf asked reluctantly, not wanting Siv to lick him in the same way, so he went over to the saddle.

-Yes, you can get on, he's ready. -Siv spread his white wings and flew up into the air like an arrow, the wings of the creature merged with the white clouds and melted into them as if Siv was a part of them, he sliced the airspace with his wings, you could see the ever red forest and rivers and mountains, even the southern state of Strathel with its famous snow white mountains and the harbor that went straight into the sea.

Flying on the dragon's back, Versavius thought to himself, "I wish I could see this every second."

He did not hide his emotions and closed his eyes, savoring every inhale and exhale as he flew towards the castle, imagining himself as a dragon flying over the seas and abysses, even his childhood dream was to learn to fly over the sea and touch it only with his fingertips.

Now he could touch the scales and feel what he would be like if he really became a creature that could conquer the skies, but that stopped when they landed on the ground and Francis Morselius himself appeared before them, he was not afraid to stand a meter away from the huge dragon and bravely stood and watched the two meter tall dwarves descend from it in amusement.

King Francis himself, clad in silver armor with red elbow pads and the crest of his family on his chest at his feet, stuck his huge sword into the ground and greeted Isil with open arms:

-How long since we've seen each other since that tavern! -He even managed to lift her to her feet.

-Forty-year-old fool! I thought you would meet us formally, without fanaticism, and shave off your white beard, it bothers me, and if you don't, I'll break your horns! -Isil threatened angrily, and at the same time a child's laughter was heard where the dragon stood.

-Adam! My boy, come here and stop playing with the beast's tail! - Indeed, the dragon was amused, wagging his tail like a rattle to amuse the strange boy, who, at his father's admonition, ran up to him and grabbed his cloak.

-Francis! How many years have you hidden your heir? And my brother, look at the horns that have already appeared! -Isil was surprised.

-Lan won't make a good nurse…- The king whispered, looking at little Adam, and then added in his voice.

-His name is Adam and he is ten years old.

-He'll make a fine future heir, Your Majesty. -Said Versavius.

-Oh, thank you, so you're the famous cartographer who traveled all over the Interworld making maps for us? - He shook the dwarf's hand.

-I am honored to know that the King of Morsalia knows of me. -He shook his hand in return.

-Queen Stratela has written to me about you in her letters and told me that you are a very capable dwarf. -The King smiled.

-Queen Stratela herself wrote about me?!?! - Versavius was embarrassed.

-Will you help me restore my castle? It's a bit old and could use an artist's touch.

-I'd be happy to help, Your Majesty!

-Then let's go to the castle. We have a treaty to sign. You can look around the castle, and the dark elfes are already here. We just have to wait for Valeria. -They all entered the castle except the dragon, who stayed outside and decided to sleep.

When Versavius entered the castle, he saw that some of the rooms were in a dusty old state, the wallpaper was peeling and the varnish on the parquet was colorless: -Why didn't you restore it for so long? -Asked Dwarf.

-My late father left me a will which stated that if I had a legitimate heir, I could do with the building as I pleased after ten years of his son's life. -The king had Adam on his shoulders, who liked to hang on to his father's horns.

-So you've decided to restore the castle, a great idea. -The dwarf rejoiced.

-Yes, and now if you could sit next to this lady and watch Adam together, Isil and I need to go to the meeting room. - said the King, handing the cooker back into the hands of the Dark Elf. -And I'll ask you to keep an eye on my son.

-Yes! -Lan and Versavius answered loudly together, and then King Francis and Isil entered the council chamber, closing the door behind them.

-And why did the young master run away from you? -Asked the dwarf, narrowing his eyes.

-Because he asked me to, and by the way, I have a name. -She said with a touch of unfriendliness.

-Let's start at the beginning, my name is Versavius Kivrul, I am Isil Kivrul's confidant and a cartographer who did this world a favor and made sand maps all over the world. -The dwarf said proudly.

-Ah, so we're on official business! My name is Lan-Orah, I am Al-Orah's confidant and personal apprentice. -She replied, and so they met, making sure the heir didn't run away again.
