Charter: Dwarf Settlement

NOW

Olustin came into the stone room where the travelers were sitting and wanted to tell them something: -Isil! Everything is ready, only you are missing...

-Ah! -Okay, I'm coming. If you want, I'll tell you the whole story later, but for now, will you come with me? -She asked.

-Yes! -I'd love to!

As they left the room, the color changed from orange to scarlet, the ibexes sat on either side of the road where the action was taking place, Francie and Stan stayed with him at Olustin's request, for Isil had to address her people, the stone path she walked was splashed with red and white fluorescent colors, as if they were having a wedding rather than a funeral.

On the animals at the dwarfs playing instruments the music that came to the guys was like a very sad howling opera where everyone conveyed their grieving feelings through the vibrations of the music, the Dwarf Mountains were soaked with pain, loss and unbearable scrupulous anger, if at this moment the stones were alive they would have really screamed and made sobbing sounds like some mountain goats did, they felt the pain of their masters and could not fully stand, they had to lie down on all their four hooves because the strain was so painful and unbearable for them that at any moment even the animals in the neighborhood could fall, this was done by the magic musicians their energy was so strong that everything under them simply crumbled.

In the middle of the corridor was Isil herself, with a wave of her hand the room suddenly went dark and everything stopped, even the sounds of the opera, for a moment you would have thought it was over, but it was the beginning.

The dwarves began to play a different composition, one that soothed the heart, and with it, in the midst of the darkness, Isil's hands glowed with an orange-golden color, in her hands the ordinary sand was transformed into something unimaginable, it was like a golden shower of stars that spread throughout the room. Images of Versavius himself began to appear in the room:

-He was a dwarf with a true heart of stone... a friend... a brother... a mentor. He was known by all the Kingdoms of the Netherworld as a cartographer who could make excellent maps, he had learnt the way home at the snap of his fingers since childhood...

Isil looked at the magical pictures of her brother, she could not hold back her tears, showing how close she was to her brother through family ties, she stood in a star pose, using her magic to create the memories she remembered.

All the dwarves in the room could hear her crying, they understood how hard it was for her to speak at that moment and at the same time use her power to savor the last memories of him, that he would never come to her again and embrace her like his sister or scold her for her terrible deed.

The dynamics of the opera instruments intensified, and Isil continued to speak through her tears, just as a ship carrying the dead Versavius, wrapped in a white robe, was brought to her: -I was truly happy to be his sister, and truly he was the best and will remain so in our hearts forever...

Stan and Francie did not know the dwarf very well, but they cared so much that they began to cry at the sight of the others' tears. Suddenly there was a strong gust of wind and golden sand flowed towards the dead dwarf, taking up his body, and in this sand Versavius' body dissolved, causing a great explosion and his last wish echoing out of the sand into space:

I want to see the sky every second...

The Luminous Sand Dragon spread its wings and flew upwards, from where a large gap opened, the golden sand in the shape of a dragon emerged into the clear night sky and dissolved as it had appeared.

-May your wish come true... Brother. - Isil whispered through her tears.

The dwarven village used sand to dissolve the body, and then the sand went into the dead heart of the deceased, where it found the last unfulfilled spark of the deceased. For a while the villagers came to hug Isil with great regret, she saw Francie and Stan and waved her hand and called to them.

-Are you all right, Isil? -Asked Stan.

-Yes, I'm at peace now, and I feel a little better. -She smiled, wiping away her last tears.

-That was amazing. -Said Francie.

-I have no doubt I see the same in you especially in those eyes a good development of the dark elf's will. -Isil saw red lightning in Francie's eyes for a moment.

-It's late at night we should probably rest, especially since we have to go shopping for ingredients tomorrow. -Stan's eyes were starting to droop.

-Francie had to wake him up.

-Good, and Olustin's coming with you tomorrow as a traveling companion. -Isil pointed her index finger at the dwarf picking red petals off the floor.

-Oh, this will go even faster, good night Isil! - They said goodbye to the dwarves and went to their guest room. Stan looked at the glowing mushroom of the night light and wanted to go to sleep, but suddenly he remembered something and turned over with a star on his back, it turned out Francie was lying the same way.

-What a crazy day! -Francie said with a sigh. -I'm so physically and emotionally exhausted today.

-I just remembered something. -Stan said suddenly.

-What is it? -Francie looked at him.

-Do you remember the prophecy of the Shaman? I heard the end of it when we left his tent.

-What was it? We'll probably defeat Valafar and become famous heroes! -Francie laughed.

-No, he said someone would stay here forever. -Suddenly the man said.

-Hmm, someone, but definitely not me. I want a normal world where you don't die from a unicorn or a giant spider, don't you?

-And I don't think I want...

-OK, well, good night then, if anything, I'll turn this light off. -The lights went out in the guest bedroom, but Stan, who had just wanted to sleep, was suddenly so preoccupied with the situation that he didn't notice his eyelids closing and falling asleep.
