Chapter 25 - Revenge 2.0

Revenge 2.0

Jay-jay's PoV

"Don't you have a class?!" the teacher asked us.

Ci-N and I couldn't answer. The bell had just rung, meaning our class had already started a while ago.

Haay... We're really doomed!

"They bunged their class." Freya arrogantly said.

I glared at her. Who does she think she is? Her face looked like a coloring book. Where did we end up? Just in Section A. The others were already giving us bad looks, including their teacher.

So annoying!

I was about to open my mouth to speak when I heard the voices of Section E students outside the room.

"They might enter the room.'

"Look! Hurry!"

"Jay... The window." Ci-N whispered to me.

I looked at the window near their whiteboard. It was a sliding window and was wide open. I nodded at Ci-N, signaling that I agreed to go through there.

"Go back to your class."

The teacher was still speaking to us when suddenly, Ci-N ran straight toward the window.Without hesitation, he jumped down. Some of the students from Section A were shocked and peeked out of the window.

"Ay!... What is wrong with this kid?!" the teacher

shouted.

I was about to run and follow Ci-N. I didn't care that we were on the second floor. But just as I was about to jump, Kiko grabbed my arm.

"You're jumping too?! That's dangerous!" There was a hint of worry in his voice.

Ayyieehh... Concern.

"It's more dangerous if they catch me!" I said and pushed his hand away.

I quickly ran and jumped out of the window. I should have checked how high it was first. Too late to regret it now. I crashed onto the grassy ground, but my leg hurt a lot because of how high I had jumped from.

"Aarghhh..." I screamed as I rubbed my leg.

"Forget about the pain for now! And make your legs pretty later, but for now Let's go!" Ci-N shouted as he pulled me up.

Even though I was in pain and struggling, I forced myself to stand and run. We headed behind the gymnasium, hoping luck was on our side.

The three troublemakers who cursed at me before were here. No wonder I couldn't find them earlier-this was their hideout.

You better be ready for me!

"Ci... Go back to the classroom," I ordered.

"Huh? Why?"

I took my bag from him. "I'll be the one they chase. Just leave now."

"But Jay-"

"Just do as I say," I commanded firmly.

Ci-N walked away, still confused. I just didn't want him to get involved. This was my fight. I approached the three, who were busy smoking.

"What the he-" He didn't get to finish his sentence.

I threw a strong punch. My fist hurt, and my knuckles were trembling, but it was worth it.His lip was bleeding. The other two glared at me

"You bastard! You-" Before he could finish, I kicked him in the face.

He fell, and blood started dripping from his nose as he groaned in pain. One more to go...

The last one stared at me for a moment. He even smirked before flicking away his cigarette. From their expressions, it seemed like they recognized me now. The two who had fallen forced themselves to stand while the other one stepped forward.

"Will you deliver it?"

They exchanged glances, as if speaking through their eyes. Then suddenly, one of them charged at me. He tried to punch me, but I dodged and immediately kicked his knee, making him collapse again.

"Aarrrgghhh... Shit!"

The other one, the one with a bleeding nose, followed. I didn't wait for him-I punched him straight in the jaw.

"Ugh!"

It hurt, but it was worth it. He seemed dazed as he fell. I turned back to the last onethe guy who wouldn't stop cursing at me.

"You're the only one left..."

I didn't wait for him to attack. I charged with a punch, but he dodged. I quickly followed up with another strike.

Bulls eye!

As soon as he fell, I immediately kicked him in the stomach. I didn't stop, doing even more than what he did to me. He was already vomiting, but I kept going.

"I thought you were tough?!" I said while continuing to kick him.

"Tell Freya... She was wrong... About who she trusts!" I added in between my kicks.

I paused for a moment, feeling the strain in my legs and feet. I took a deep breath and was about to continue when suddenly, something hit the back of my head.

"Uggghhh!"

I collapsed instantly. My hand reached for the spot where I was hit. My vision darkened as dizziness took over. It felt heavy, like one wrong move and I'd lose consciousness.

Damn it! Don't close your eyes, Jay!

I forced myself to look at who did it. It was one of the three-the one I had kicked in the knee.

"Did you really think we'd lose that easily? Especially to you, a mere woman!" he shouted at me, jabbing a stick in my direction.

Just as he was about to hit me again, someone grabbed his wrist. Even in my dazed state, I saw clearly who it was.

Keifer.

He wasn't speaking, but the anger in his eyes was evident. His grip tightened on the man's wrist, forcing him to drop the wooden stick.

"Argh! Let go of me!"

"Alright." Keifer replied indifferently.

I thought he would release him, but instead, he twisted the man's arm tighter. I could hear the cracking sound, and the man screamed in pain

"Aaarrggghhhh... S-stop!"

As soon as Keifer let go, the man collapsed, crying from the pain.

Then he turned to the man lying on the ground with a bloody nose. The man must have sensed danger because he started crawling away from Keifer.

"W-wait! Please have mercy! We were just following orders!" he pleaded.

But Keifer didn't seem interested in showing mercy. He continued approaching, and when he stopped, he delivered a powerful kick to the man's knee.

"Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!"

I shut my eyes. I knew that kick had just broken his bone.

Why? Why is Keifer like this?

I was angry at those men, bu.... Now, all I could feel for them was pity.

Keifer approached the last one. The man was still sprawled on the ground, staring at Keifer with wide eyes.

"Stand up." Keifer ordered.

"W-what-"

"Stand up!" He repeated in a commanding tone.

Even though the man didn't fully understand, he forced himself to stand.

"I'll give you a chance to fight me. I don't want to do to you what you did to Jay-jay. It's obvious that wasn't fair." Keifer explained.

The man just smirked. "What do you mea- Aaagggghhhh!!!" Keifer didn't let him finish. He immediately kneed him in the stomach, making his eyes and tongue almost pop out.

The man was about to collapse again, but Keifer didn't let him. He grabbed him by the collar and landed punch after punch to his gut.

Stop it!

Didn't he say he would give him a chance to fight? But he wasn't even letting the guy recover.

Keifer punched him in the stomach again, and suddenly, the man vomited. But instead of food or water, it was blood. He collapsed completely.

"Are you okay, Jay?" Keifer asked while looking at the guy who had fallen.

I was a bit surprised by his question. "I-I'm fine."

"We need to leave this place."

I forced myself to stand up, but I felt so heavy and was still dizzy.

"You go ahead... I-I'll follow," I said while trying to support myself.

"Tss. Hurry up."

Look at this guy. Can't he see that I'm struggling? Can't he be a gentleman? From what I read in Wattpad, novels and books, guys usually help the girl, but he didn't.

Should I post this on Facebook and call him 'Ungentleman!'? Then say, 'No matter how handsome he is, his attitude ruins it.' But I might get bashed, so never mind.

Where did Keifer even come from? And why is he here? Why is he like that?

"You walk like a turtle," he commented before quickly walking away from me.

Wow!

Does he even care about what I'm going through?

As soon as he was completely out of sight, I let out my frustration, and then Yuri finally showed up. He approached me. Where did this guy come from? And why is he here too?

"Where did you get hit?" he asked disinterestedly.

I didn't answer. I just pointed at the back of my neck. I had no idea what he was going to do, but suddenly, he stepped closer and carried me like a bridal style.

"What?! What?! Put me down!"I protested.

"We'll take forever if I don't carry you."

I stopped resisting and didn't say anything anymore. Maybe it was because of how heavy I felt-along with the exhaustion and the pain from that punch.

"Can I ask you a favor?" Yuri suddenly asked.

I just nodded and waited for what he was going to say.

"You take responsibility for what happened in Section D."

I looked at him in confusion. He wants me to take responsibility? Why?

"If you're wondering why... it's because Keifer can't be involved in trouble anymore."

Oh, that's why.

Well, considering all the trouble Keifer has been involved in before, he probably can't afford to get caught up in another mess.

"O-okay. I'll take all the blame."I noticed Yuri smiled, but it quickly disappeared.

Why does it feel like something is? Is there something different about Yuri today?

He seems so kind, completely different from the Yuri I always bicker with. He's like Keifer Version 2.0, which is why there are times I get annoyed with him too. But now....he feels like a completely different person....
