Chapter 70 - Group Date

Jay-jay's POV

"Let's go to the horror house!" Ci-N and the others shouted.

"You guys! I don't want to!" I answered them. Animals! The O.A. (over-actors) will come here and follow us. Then they seemed to get a little kick out of me not being able to avoid them.

"KJ! You'll be with me!" They shouted. I made them suffer. Even though I don't like the Horror House, I have no choice. They wouldn't let me go.

"Do you believe that?" David whispered to me.

"Oh—yes... You with your instinct," I answered him, smiling. All we had to do was find a time to talk to Denzel. I quietly looked at Yuri. It was a shame that we were so embarrassed and didn't understand each other. Fortunately, we were able to get along enough to stay together. It felt like we were going to let them go. Tough! I just wanted to be free!

I looked at the big Ferris wheel. It was a little far from our location, but it was huge. "I'll take you to my place."

"Let's go on a ride..." I said while heading toward the Ferris wheel.

"No more! Let's go home after the Horror House!" Keifer said. I heard him with annoyance.

"Go home if you want! I'll just ride it!"

"Tss." That was the magical "Tss." He was a really tough man. The power of his mind was always present.

We arrived at the Horror House. I just felt like I wanted to go home. Tengene! I knew there were only people and machinery in it. I was scared of other things.

Yuri's POV

Overacting! I couldn't stop myself before. I don't know why, but I had this weird feeling in my stomach, and I immediately got mad. It was annoying! I couldn't look at Jay-jay. I was ashamed of myself, but I think it's because of my O.A. (over-acting).

We were already lined up at the entrance to the Horror House. We had to wait for about 10 minutes before entering with a new group. I tried to glance at Jay-jay. She looked so scared? No! She looked bothered. It seemed like a thought. I wished I could have been closer to her, but I thought they might have misunderstood.

The crew of the Horror House prompted us to enter. We were still in line. Jay was in the middle of everything. In the first hallway, there was already a sense of fear. Suddenly, screams echoed. My eardrums almost broke.

"Itai!" (Ouch!) I tried to look for Jay-jay but couldn't find her. Until they decided to run because of something.

"Are you okay?" I tried not to leave my place because I wanted to find Jay-jay. I couldn't see the road, but it was too narrow for me to walk.

We stopped in a slightly wider hallway. I chased after the others. I had difficulty breathing in the area.

"Guys! Is Jay-jay here?" Ci-N asked. I immediately closed my eyes, but they weren't here. I couldn't see David and Keifer either. Denzel and Eren were also missing.

"Where did they go?" they asked. I tried to return to the hallway where we had come from, but the door was closed. Crap!

"We can't go back! We need to move forward!" they said.

But I needed to get back! Do you think I'm going to just let it go? Fuck! Why do I feel like this? Why do I feel this way?! I felt like I was going crazy. This is not normal! Am I... am I feeling jealous?

Jay-jay's POV

I couldn't move. It felt like something was starting to hurt me. I didn't know why, but I hated it!

"Get up!" Keifer yelled at me.

I didn't want to!

"Hold on!" He shouted again.

"Stand up!" That's it! Starting again!

I wasn't sure where it was from! Not for the house, not for the house, not for the house.

"Taste you!" In... my mind?

"Stupid little boy!"

Nope! Nope! Nope! Stop!

"Get ready for me!"

"Jay-jay! Get up!" Keifer shouted again.

Suddenly, I was pulled up in the middle of the road. I was scared, and something was about to make me cry.

"Don't hurt me!" I yelled at Keifer.

I didn't know where it came from, but it just came out of my mouth.

"What are you talking about?" he said, tightening his grip on my arm.

"... Why are you shaking? What's going on?"

"U-lets get out of here... please."

"Come on..." He was about to let go of my arm, but I suddenly grabbed his hand.

"Why?" he asked.

"Don't let me go!" I knew it was confusing. Even I was confused. He grabbed my hand and held me close. I couldn't stop. It was the fear I felt. I just wanted to get out of there. I wasn't going back.

We walked into a hallway with a different design.

"Jay..." Keifer called me.

"... You could go a little farther."

I didn't understand why. But I didn't want to. I was still scared, not of the ghosts in the house, but of the ghosts in my mind.

"Jay..." Keifer called again.

"I'm uncomfortable."

Even though I couldn't understand, I still walked away.

I don't know if it was just the light or something else, but suddenly I heard the man's scream. It sounded like Ci-N's voice. That meant they were close.

"It's Ci-N!" I said and went toward Keifer.

I was about to run to the next hallway when the door suddenly closed behind me, separating me from Keifer.

"Jay-jay!" Keifer shouted from the other side.

"Keifer!" I cried, tears starting to form in my eyes.

"Get away, Jay! I'll knock on the door!" He shouted.

I walked away and heard loud banging on the door. It wouldn't open.

"FUCK!!" Keifer yelled.

"Keifer! I'm scared!" I cried, my tears flowing.

"No! Don't be scared!" he shouted.

I tried to open the door, but it still didn't open.

"Jay... I'll search for another way!"

"Ha?! W-wait! Don't leave me here!"

"Jay! Nothing happens if we just stay here! I'll find another way! I'll find you!"

I felt a little better when I heard that. I didn't know why.

"Jay! Can you hear me?!"

"Yes!"

"Alright! I'm leaving!" I heard it from the other side.

I just sat on the floor. He was looking for me, so I had no reason to be afraid.

I looked around. It was just scary masks and spider webs. It was scary, but I was more concerned about what might happen. I didn't want to hear those voices again. They were part of my past, but I couldn't remember.

I heard the men scream again. I wasn't sure if it was still Ci-N, but it meant one thing. There was a group near me. Even though I didn't want to leave my place, I was forced to stand up and walk. I slowly moved toward the man in front of me. I was a little surprised, but I was firm.

I needed to find that group. Suddenly, something came to my mind. I was so scared I ran away. I ended up in a room with a headless body and a hill, so I had to go out and run again until I bumped into someone.

"Aw..." he said as I was knocked over.

I got up and looked at who it was. I was so relieved to see that I had bumped into Eren.

"Eren!" I cried, running to him.

"Easy..." he said, pushing me gently. He immediately stood up and helped me to my feet.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"O-yes..." I looked around, trying to find the others, but they weren't there.

"... Where are they?"

"That's my problem. I was separated from them."

Shit! I was starting to panic again. I was afraid to go back.

"Better yet... Let's just find the exit. We'll wait for them there."

Exactly! The exit was out there. I couldn't be afraid of this anymore.

"S-come... Let's go." I said, starting to walk.

"Are you sure you're, okay?" Eren asked.

"O-yes..."

"You can hold on to me if you want..."

"JAY-JAY!" someone shouted.

We both turned around.

Keifer! He quickly ran toward me. I have to admit, I felt so much relief. I had lost my fear. It felt like I had been pricked by a thorn.

As soon as Keifer reached me, he grabbed me tightly.

"Fuck! I thought I'd never find you!" ❤️

My heart! It's not normal anymore! B-why? Why do I feel like this?! Why did Keifer say that? Was he scared? Was he afraid he wouldn't see me? But why? I'm confused! I wanted to get away from him, but I couldn't.
