Awakening

Rumie, without further ado, went to the Demon Hunter's Guild to become a Hunter. He just turned 7 and would be undergoing Awakening process. In which he would gain a power.

The process would be simple, he should just go to the Awakening ritual and be assessed.

Now that he was in the Hunter guild testing halls, he saw the building that held the tests.

The Hunter guild held high regards to standards and showmanship to have respect and intimidation.

Rumie entered the building and saw numerous applicants. All were in mix and random ones. Some were buff, some were slim, but some held domineering auras.

He went to the application desk and saw the front desk receptionist. He inhaled air and puffed it out. Then stood in front of him.

"I would like to apply for Awakening, sir!" Rumie immediately bowed slightly and then looked straight. He immediately filled up the details of his name and he made an alias of Sun Xin. He will use a different name as he did not want to be connected to the Hunter guild when he will join the academy soon.

The receptionist looked at him from top to bottom, "Sure sir, this way."

He pointed to the door that says "Awakening room". Rumie entered and then saw the platform for the Awakening. He was amazed to see such magical stones floating on the platform and were glowing in yellowish radiance. Upon his excitement, his heart skipped a beat. He could only bite his lower lips as a result.

"Head to the platform sir and the Awakener will assess your power." The receptionist said to him.

"Sure!" He said then approached him. The receptionist then left and he was left alone with the awakener. Rumie went to the platform and then the awakener noticed him. He had a white beard and its length was till on his chest. His eyes glowed in white as a normal thing and he was taller than Rumie.

"I am Lin Hong, the awakener that was assigned to assess you. Do you have any questions before we proceed?" he asked in a reverberating voice. Though his voice was kind and felt reassuring.

"No sir, I have nothing to ask," Rumie replied.

"Hmm, okay, then let's proceed!" he replied then nodded three times.

He prepared his aura to test his powers and he inhaled deep. Rumie immediately felt that a surging power was entering his body. Surging through his veins and then entering his mind. Making him open his eyes with it glowing.

"Hmm, your power, is immeasurable. I can see its immense potential. Your power is.....Cloning!

"As a normal thing, you will receive a system that will help you in your power management."

Rumie was amazed that he was, at last, an awakened. Remembering the newbie instructions, he immediately tested it out.

"Status!"

"Just look at that! There are S class hunters here too!" Many people pointed to the where the crowd was gathering.

It was Shu Bai, the S class Paladin. Others were also present. Each class has only one S class rank and they were not replaced for a long time. Only a few were A rank and there were more in B.

They just arrived at the hunter's guild and saw numerous hunters all armored and equipped with weapons. With him the only one who has nothing at all. He immediately went to the market stalls and bought a broad sword. Putting the sheathed weapon on his back waist and then buckled its belt on his body.

The Hunter guild has a vast hall. Also has more rooms for testing the capabilities of one hunter.

Sun Xin went to the registration desk and inquired how to register.

The man in his front was wearing a suit with a bow tie. He has a black pants and was wearing an eyepiece on his left eye. A man in his fifties with white hair and mustache.

"Sir, I would like to register as a Hunter. What requirements do I need?" he asked. Minding that he still doesn't know what the requirements were.

"There is nothing needed. Only evidence that you are awakened," he said in a tone that was lifeless. Sun Xin thought that he was doing the same speech at all times when someone was asking.

"Ah, I see. Where can I test it out?" he asked.

"Fill up the information first then we will proceed to the testing area," he replied, hands touching his eyepiece.

Sun Xin filled up the form and then submitted it to the desk. He was immediately instructed to follow him.

"This room is for testing your stats. The next room was for your class and your ranking in prowess. I guess that's it, I will be back on my post." he said then left.

He then finished the tests and rested. It was a very tiring process for him. He then waited for his result and then the results was up.

He then went to the testing area for his class. He sat on the chair while facing a table.

He saw a man in a suit and bowtie with eyeglasses.

"Wait? What is your class? What should I write here?" he asked.

Sun Xin was laughing, "I am an awakener that could clone myself. Plus it was rare," Xin said to him.

"I see, okay. But that job class was just a support." he asked.

"Yes," replied.

He was tested for his job class, his job class was a support. As it does not have powers and just martial arts. It was the Support class and was a second line of defense and a support of first line of defence. Now his next test was his combat capabilities or rank.

Specifically the ranks of S class, A rank, B rank, and last, C rank.

He was needed to duel one combat master to evaluate his potential. First test was to defeat the C rank combat master. And so he headed there.
