"Hulk is invincible!"
Upon hearing this, Hulk roared in anger. If Banner hadn't stopped him, he would have already started fighting.
Chino, hearing this, turned to Xi and said, "Summon the strongest one."
Xi looked a little embarrassed and replied, "Your Majesty, I have not yet completed the ultimate training, so I may be somewhat unrefined."
Chino became intrigued upon hearing this. For the Western Capital, which could command demons, this was no simple feat. It only made him more interested.
"It's fine. Just call them." Chino spoke with curiosity.
Suddenly, in the center of the square, a ten-meter-tall black box appeared out of nowhere. The box emitted an eerie aura, as if the surrounding air was being compressed.
The demons around them showed fear on their faces and immediately backed away.
The next moment, with a dull "grrrk" sound, the black box slowly opened.
Inside the box lay a small demon, curled up and asleep, its face completely hidden.
The demon slowly opened its eyes. They were like burning red flames, filled with violence and madness.
It looked at Xi and spoke, "If you have the courage to release me, does that mean you have found the power to suppress me?" Its voice was hoarse, low, and filled with endless menace.
Xi remained expressionless and said, "Barcelona, His Majesty is looking for you."
"His Majesty?" Barcelona turned his gaze toward Chino, his eyes filled with doubt and provocation. A smirk of contempt curled at the corner of his lips.
"Your Majesty, are you truly strong?"
"Of course!"
As soon as Chino spoke, his figure instantly vanished from his throne.
Without warning, Chino appeared in front of Xi and struck him with a violent punch.
"Bang!"
A loud noise echoed as a dark shadow was sent flying like a cannonball, crashing into the ground and raising a cloud of dust into the sky.
"Why do you not fear death?"
Chino was slightly confused. He could clearly feel that this demon's life and death were entirely within his control, yet the demon remained extremely arrogant.
As the smoke gradually cleared, the short-statured demon stood up. His body had become noticeably stronger, his muscles hard like rock.
Barcelona spoke, "It's not about avoiding death. As long as I take enough damage, I can overcome death itself."
Chino's lips twitched. He turned to Xi with an expression of speechlessness. "Has this guy always been so arrogant?"
Could he really kill and erase one of the Five Great Creator Gods? He wasn't sure.
Xi sighed and explained, "This man is an abused demon. He possesses the ability to absorb physical damage and transform it into his own strength and speed."
Chino frowned and asked, "Shouldn't there be a limit to this ability?"
Xi nodded and replied, "The limit is his own endurance. His strength can indeed grow indefinitely, but his stamina cannot support it forever."
"Even so, there is no demon in Hell who can defeat him head-on."
"However, Your Majesty, I have yet to train him. If you want to subdue him now, you must first defeat him."
Hearing about this ability, Blonsky's eyes suddenly lit up. He stared intently at the demon below.
"Fine. If you want me to serve you, defeat me first!" Barcelona said provocatively.
"Alright, I'll see what you're capable of… But you wait your turn." Chino was starting to grow more interested.
Just as he was about to end the conversation, he suddenly felt an unusual stirring deep in his chest. Venom was calling him.
Chino opened a portal and left.
Barcelona, who had been excited about an impending fight, was left stunned. After a moment, his expression twisted into rage.
"What do you think of battle? …Fine, I'll just feast on some appetizers first."
As he said this, his gaze turned toward the other demons. He was just about to charge at them when a red light crushed him, rendering him immobile.
This was the power of Hell.
Xi looked down at Barcelona and spoke coldly, "If you wish to wait, then wait."
Barcelona gritted his teeth in frustration. "Damn it! How does a weak demon like you have this kind of power?"
He had always viewed demons like Xi as mere playthings or subordinates for the truly powerful ones. But now, he was forced to acknowledge that Xi had surpassed him.
"I simply intended to kill her before she could react, but I never expected to be blocked like this."
"The strong prey on the weak. In the past, you were strong, so you acted recklessly and bullied the weak. But now, I am strong, and everything should be reversed. Isn't this the rule you all established? The rule of you so-called powerful demons?"
At this moment, Xi's eyes became cold and sharp, as if two glacial lights were scanning the demons around her.
The surrounding demons lowered their heads, not daring to meet her gaze. They felt a deep fear from just her presence.
Frank, Blonsky, and others stared at Xi with slight surprise.
The obedient girl who stood before Chino was, in the eyes of the demons, a terrifying existence. Wherever her gaze fell, demons trembled in silence.
Unaware of the situation unfolding in Hell, Chino reappeared in the living room of his mansion.
Inside the living room, Venom and Pamela stood facing a man with a warm smile.
Chino looked at them and asked, "Venom, what's going on?"
"There's a guy with a really long name," Venom replied.
The man smiled amicably and said, "Hello, Chino. I am Agent Phil Coulson of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division. I have a few questions for you."
He maintained his signature warm smile, his eyes sincere and friendly.
It was as if he was not an agent on a mission but an old friend visiting for a casual conversation. His entire demeanor exuded an undeniable charm.
Chino looked at Coulson and sighed internally. "He really is the perfect village chief for Marvel's newbie town. His social skills are maxed out."
"Coulson, I'm a little busy right now. Can you wait until I'm done?" Chino said.
"Of course. If you need our help, let us know. We have plenty of experience handling troublesome matters." Coulson said hesitantly.
Chino smirked. "There's a demon who refuses to obey orders and needs some training. Want to come with me?"
For a moment, Coulson's smile froze. A faint sweat appeared on his forehead. His mind raced as he considered the possible consequences of accepting this invitation.
After a deep breath, he forced himself to stay calm and said, "Alright, I'll go with you."
Despite his best efforts to appear composed, the slight tremble in his lips betrayed his inner tension and unease.
Chino turned to Venom and Pamela. "Are you coming too?"
"Go ahead and check it out," Pamela said.
"Yeah, I'm coming too," Venom added.
One by one, Chino and his group vanished from the room.
Before stepping through the portal, Coulson took a deep breath, adjusted the invisible camera on his chest, and made the sign of the cross.
"For world peace, may I be blessed."
Then, he stepped into the portal.
Quote of the Chapter:
"Power without control is chaos. True strength lies not in endless growth, but in knowing when to stop."
