Adoption, fluctuation

Wu Tian rushed and chased Qier excitedly; it had been over six months since the incident with Grandma Mu and Wu Tian. Much to Lin Qing's relief no more strange incidents happened, though Wu Zemin had been attacked on his way back from the capital. Thankfully he had emerged unscathed through the ordeal.

He had however been flabbergasted when he came back and heard about the series of events that had occurred after his departure . He was even more surprised by the presence of Xiao Ren and the other kids.

When Lin Qing had brought them back she had hosted them and waited until Wu Zemin had arrived. After discussing it Wu Zemin had agreed to raise them in them in the mansion.

The one who had been happiest with this decision was of course Wu Tian, he had wanted a playmate for a long time and now he had seven.

From that moment till now he had almost spent all his time with them. And since Lin Qing had decided to raise them she made sure they were given the best education with the tutors teaching Wu Tian also teaching them,

she had bought them clothes and garments and ensured they were well provided for. The levels of care given to them were as if they were their own children.

Wu Tian excitedly chased Xiao Ren, they had been playing and Xiao Ren had teased him about his short height, which made Wu Tian chase him around.

Although in all honesty Wu Tian was not short he was actually a bit tall for his age. At the moment he was almost four years old but his body was as big as a six year old. However he sometimes acted so maturely that others couldn't help but make fun of him.

As they ran and chased each other, the others soon joined and the sound of laughter and cheer filled the entire compound.

The maids and guards watching couldn't help but smile as they passed. After the addition of the children the mansion had gained some additional liveliness and cheer. The bright sound of children's laughter and their innocent faces livened up the normally stately mansion and the people couldn't help but be in good mood.

After playing for a while, the children felt tired, the young ones were taken to sleep while the older ones went to continue their lessons.

Six children had been rescued in addition to Xiao Ren. They were Xiao Ren, Xiao Hua, Li Er, Lin lin, Jian li, Er Gu and Qier. The older ones were Xiao Ren followed by the girl Lin lin and the boy Li Er while the others were younger except Qier. Though she was only four she was also mature and smart beyond her years. Thus she had been allowed to attend some of the lessons.

As the rest went for the lessons Wu Tian also went to his room. The lesson the rest had he had already learnt so he had this period to himself. Besides today he had an inkling an important event was about to happen. He had been practicing martial arts for a while now and today he was finally going to open his main meridians.

In fact due to the inner sight he had somehow gained he knew that he didn't have blocked main meridians. His were wide and open, however they were sealed by the domineering energy that suppressed the heavenly energy. Wu Tian called this energy eternal energy.

This energy was too domineering, it didn't budge at all when he tried to use his inner qi to open it, however it was also extremely intimate with him just that he was too week to control it. Just like a man trying to move a mountain.

He had been grinding it down patiently and just as a man moves a mountain a rock at a time he had a feeling that today he would finally be able to move it.

Wu Tian sat cross legged and looked at his body. He looked somehow comical since he was so young but he was extremely serious. He extended his perception and looked into the vessel. Seeing the bright domineering eternal energy, he extended his perception and locked onto it.

He interacted with it and the energy felt extremely intimate, he then continued merging his perception with it. Extending and intertwining it in a bid to control the energy. After what felt like a long time a bright smile appeared on his face, he had finally managed to control the energy.

He opened his eyes and then stretched his finger, a tiny almost invisible wisp of energy materialized on his finger. And then all hell seemed to break loose, the moment that energy appeared, a domineering fluctuation spread out.

The space around him seemed unable to bear it, it trembled and distorted strongly, showing signs of cracking and tearing rifts, the realm shuddered and he felt the earth tremble. Everyone all around the lower world felt the world shake from the strongest cultivator to the weakest individual.

At the same time the fluctuation appeared and spread, a sudden and fatal sense of danger hit Wu Tian, it was so intense that that he shuddered and almost lost consciousness.

As if in response to this he instinctively mobilized all his energy to connect to the world around him. He used everything the heavenly energy, the eternal energy and qi to construct a massive barrier unknown miles world.

At the same time he kept the wisp of eternal energy and watched nervously as the fluctuations were blocked by the barrier before it disappeared. The moment that happened the sense of danger vanished, leaving Wu Tian with a cold sweat on his forehead.

He sighed heavily and collapsed backwards into the bed, his young heart was still beating heavily in his chest and he still felt bits of lingering fear. He had never felt such a level of danger in his young life, he had felt that there was absolutely no chance of survival if the fluctuation had been allowed to spread. He felt so mentally tired that he only had a second to remind himself never to recklessly experiment again before he drifted off to deep sleep.
