A few days passed by and people felt that Wu Tian seemed a bit absent minded, no one, not even Lin Qing had noticed the events of that day.
Wu Tian still had a lingering fear of that day and it had kept him from doing anything reckless but as the days went by and the memory of fear faded, his young curious mid returned,
of course it didn't make him act recklessly but it made him question what that energy was that a single showing brought such strength and danger.
Wu Tian had been so absent minded that even Lin Qing had called him.
"Tianer, is there something wrong?"
Wu Tian was still deep in thought. Lin Qing frowned and once gain asked called out to him. "Tianer, Tianer."
Wu Tian was roused from his thoughts and looked at her blankly. Even though she was worried she couldn't help but smile. Her son was too cute.
"is there something wrong?" Wu Tian hesitated for a while then shook his head like a rattle.
He didn't want to worry her. "I'm just happy that I have new friends to play with. He reassured her evasively leaving her shocked since he never hid anything from her, this also left her more worried.
Wu Tian however finally decided to explore the energy, he convinced himself since it was in his body he had to learn to live with it. Therefore he dedicated most of his time to study it.
He discovered that the eternal energy was extremely powerful, it could be big as a universe or as small as sand. It could be extremely destructive or extremely nourishing. In fact the heavenly energy in his body seemed to be a diluted but different form of this eternal energy.
With all this information Wu Tian couldn't find anything else and felt that he was too weak. He had a feeling that were it not for his intimacy with this energy he would never have been able to touch it. It was too powerful.
Having finished his research, Wu Tian returned to his normal jovial self, playing and reading with the others. However, one day he was resting when he suddenly felt like visiting his mother, nowadays she was always resting since he belly was extremely big due to her pregnancy.
Lin Qing was of course ecstatic to see her son. His absent minded behavior a few days ago had deeply worried her; he had missed coming to see her for a day, an extremely shocking event! But now seeing he was back to his normal self she was content and happy.
As she watched her son chat with her, she suddenly tensed as she felt the child in her belly kick. she was startled and chuckled as she saw the worried look in Wu Tian's eyes.
Laughing quietly, she beckoned to Wu Tian " it's the baby kicking, do you want to feel it" Wu Tian nodded eagerly and Lin Qing took his hand, placing it on her belly . Wu Tian started as he felt a little kick and curiously moved closer.
He could feel the little one's aura intertwined with his mother's and out of nowhere a rush of intense love and goodwill towards the little life gushed from his heart.
Incidentally, as if affected by this intense emotion, the eternal energy hidden within his body, mobilized in his body and following his arm rushed directly into the place he was holding on Lin Qing's stomach.
Too late to react Wu Tian could only feel the intense love leave to be replaced with intense fear, he knew how powerful that energy was. The picture of space bending and distorting rose in his mind as a horrified look rose on his face. if anything happened to his beloved mother and sister he knew he would never be able to forgive himself.
Lin Qing was also shocked by the going ons but for a different reason, she had watched Wu Tian shyly place his hands on her belly and seen the loving way he had regarded his yet unborn sister, but suddenly his face had paled and a look of fear rose on his face as though he had seen a ghost.
This immediately concerned Lin Qing and looking around she saw nothing. She worriedly shook him to his senses and as he came to he watched her worriedly.
After a few moments seeing she was fine he immediately burst into tears and embraced her. He started bubbling about eternal energy and how he was relieved she was fine.
Although she couldn't get the gist of it she heard enough to raise the level of extraordinariness she regarded her son with. Honestly she could also feel a cold sweat rise on her back as she imagined anything going wrong.
She quietly felt her body for a while, she inspected herself and her child and as she carefully sensed she sensed a deep, domineering but nurturing aura within her. it was entwined with her child and was raising her vitality at an alarming rate.
She felt concerned so she tried to probe it, she noticed it was gently elevating the level of life of her unborn child. This was what was causing her vitality to rise.
She was shocked but relieved. The fact that the energy was raising her child's vitality meant it acted like a treasure.
What shocked her was that even where she was from such treasures were incredibly rare and valuable. The more she observed the more she felt the extraordinary nature of this energy.
As she continued observing she noticed something that made her shudder. Since she was connected to the foetus through blood some of the extraordinary nature of the energy flowed through her and as it did the minute amount of it had actually started healing her severe injuries.
Just this made tears spring up on her eyes and she opened her eyes and caressed Wu Tian's head. "it's all good Tianer, we are good. Your energy is not harmful. It's very helpful."
On hearing this Wu Tian raised his head and teary eyes "really mother?' Lin Qing nodded while smiling gently. Wu Tian looked at her suspiciously but as he looked at her aura he observed that it was actually stronger along with the baby's.
He finally cracked a wide smile as his fears were unfounded. But then Lin Qing lightly knocked his head, scolding him for not telling her this sooner and he could only give her a sheepish smile.
Lin Qing smiled and didn't insist. She came from a cultivation world and there people had all kinds of fortuitous encounters and destiny and most times it was not too good to tell everything even for the closest of family. consequently she would only ask the bare minimum and do her best to guide her son. T
his also led her to another thought that since she had hope of recovering again perhaps she could adjust her plans for the kids future and start teaching them cultivation knowledge and in a year or two they could start cultivating. Thinking this was a good idea she nodded to herself and hugged her little boy to rest.
