Aptitude Test 2

Everyone looked at Qier strangely, what they had just seen had blown their minds, could such a small body produce such an intense chill. Meanwhile Lin Qing had a joyous expression on her face.

What had happened had confirmed what she thought and even exceeded her expectations. The silhouette that had appeared showed that Qier had a spirit body. Any holder of a spiritual body was totally a darling of that element and at minimum had an earth grade spirit root, in fact most even had heaven grade spirit roots and were simply heaven's chosen.

She saw the strange looks the others were throwing at her and told her, "Cheer up. Qier, you are, extremely talented. You are going to be a really powerful girl one day." She then turned to them and snapped,

"Stop giving Qier strange looks. It's your turn. Come here Er Gu, you are the one who has the weirdest look." Er Gu was startled,

he tried to hide, seeking to go to the back but the others immediately captured him and gave him a kick in the rump. Giving them a scathing look, he looked nervously at the formation and hesitantly made his way over.

That had seemed awesome but painful, he hoped that he didn't scream, the others especially Jian Li wouldn't let him live it down.

As he fearfully approached the formation, the others all looked at him expectantly, waiting to see a good show specifically more of the light show. Er Gu looked nervously but his innate hot headed personality rose up. Sic'ing himself he bravely made his way to the formation.

 When he entered, Lin Qing repeated the same procedure as before and the formation lit up, drawing the ambient spiritual energy.

It then flowed into Er Gu's body and with Lin Qing's technique stirred his spiritual root. Immediately, the atmosphere heated up and a blazing feeling rose from his body dispelling the chill that remained from Qier's test.

The fiery feeling rose higher and higher and just like Qier they could all feel the room heat up, they all looked expectantly and soon enough the heat gathered and formed a vague silhouette behind him.

Although it was a bit vaguer than Qier's it still showed that he also had a Spirit body. This made Lin Qing more and more surprised, it was rare to find one sprit body and now she had two!

Just then she had a crazy thought. Could it be that all these kids had a spiritual body? No, she shook that thought from her mind. It would be too absurd.

She also congratulated Er Gu then called Li Er on to the platform, he, ever honest, slowly and steadily made his way to the formation.

Seeing him Lin Qing had an inkling what his element would be, as the formation began and the spirit qi poured into him, a heavy feeling descended onto the room.

A heavy and earthy atmosphere descended, making the people present feel as if the gravity in the room had increased countless times. It rose and spreading out from Lier like a domain. It seemed to make anyone near him feeling heavier.

Just standing there he gave off a feeling that he was a mountain. At this point Lin Qing was too numb to be surprised when she saw a vague silhouette of a world spanning mountain rising behind Li Er.

To put into perspective how rare spirit bodies were, the luminous spirit place that Lin Qing was from had less than 20 spirit bodies.

But who were they? The luminous spirit palace was one of the most powerful factions in the bright spirit world. The bright spirit world was a higher world with a higher concentration of spiritual energy and trillions of people, yet the chances of a spirit body being born was almost one in a hundred million.

That meant that in this lower world, finding one should be extremely rare, not to mention more than six. Lin Qing felt that her life views were being challenged, and she even started to doubt her cultivation knowledge.

She swept the disgruntling thoughts from her mind and called for Xiao Hua, She surprised herself by not being surprised when Xiao Hua had a silhouette of a world spanning tree appearing behind her. it's branches waving in imaginary wind.

A sweet scent of life and nature swept through the room and they all felt as if they were in a clear fresh forest filled with vitality. This directly confirmed that Xiao Hua definitely had the wood element.

When Lin lin's turn came she flightily leapt up, quickly maneuvering around Xiao Hua and leapt into the formation.

When the formation simulated her spiritual root a breeze swept through the room, and then quickly picked up speed, behind Lin lin a stormy whirlwind rotated, looking so sharp that extremely thin cracks opened in space,

Lin Qing having confirmed her element quickly cut the transmission of spiritual energy before the projection could grow vivid and overwhelm her.

She was starting to feel a strain on herself. She hadn't actually recovered much of her spirit qi, relying mostly on the formation and her exceptional control of spirit qi, but all these activities had begun to burden her.

She quickly called for Jian Li and his affinity actually surprised her, she wasn't surprised that he actually had a spirit body. She was surprised because his affinity gave her an extremely sharp and domineering feeling.

Some might have suspected that he had the metal element but she knew that feeling from the numerous sword cultivators she had met. Not those who just used swords but True sword cultivators who viewed the sword as their path.
