She chased after him down the hallway. His broad frame was closer in sight; she sprinted down the hall. But as she was almost about to reach him, his grey eyes locked on hers—then, as if everything was an illusion, he disappeared into thin air.
By the time Olivia got to where he was standing, she couldn't find even a trace of him. She angrily hit the wall. "Sh*t," she inhaled deeply.
Before she could dwell on it, the sound of the bell rang loudly, summoning all the students to the assembly hall.
