Chapter 102 A Best Friend Before the Storm

Olivia pulled out of his embrace after she was totally calm. She wiped the remaining tears from her eyes.

"I'm sorry for being a mess… I don't know why I was so emotional," she nervously stated, staring at the ground.

"You don't have to apologize for that. Just know that you have my shoulder to cry on whenever you feel like it," he patted his shoulder, smiling softly at her.

Olivia nodded her head. "Thank you, Luke," she whispered, smiling sadly at him.

"Come on, we should get going now," Luke pulled her up. They both walked towards the school. He wanted to ask her what Diana had told her that made her break down to this extent, but he couldn't bring himself to ask.

"You're not going to ask why I was crying?" she asked, stealing a glance at him.

"No. But if you want to talk about it, I'm all ears."
