Chapter 300

Yae Miko felt that she should prepare a mobile phone for Raiden Shogun and even Sangonomiya Kokomi.

Therefore, she directly asked Kamisato Ayaka to arrange it.

When the fleet returned to Inazuma, these items would naturally be handled by Thoma. She prepared a significant number of mobile phones, all brand new.

After Inazuma's fleet was filled with provisions, it began its return journey without any plans to stop. Soon, other ships would arrive to transport more food. At the same time, many merchants had taken notice.

Now that Inazuma had reopened its borders, the news had spread quickly. Business-minded individuals who saw the opportunity wasted no time heading there to profit.

Unconsciously, the time for the Rite of Descension was drawing closer.

Takumi was also making preparations. He had recalled the fleet:

First Fleet: Tianquan

Second Fleet: Yuheng

Third Fleet: Kaiyang

Fourth Fleet: Tianshu

These were stationed at Liyue Harbor. Meanwhile, the Fifth Fleet, Tianxuan, was guarding the waters near Guiliyuan. As for Guyun Stone Forest, Takumi had temporarily pulled back security forces, though access remained restricted.

Takumi also visited the Adventurers' Guild to issue a warning. He informed them that, for the time being, there would be no commissions related to Guyun Stone Forest. Once the Rite of Descension was over, adventurers would be free to take on tasks in the area again.

The guild took his words seriously.

They had already sensed something unusual. As the Rite of Descension approached, the atmosphere in Liyue grew heavier. Though they did not know exactly what was happening, the guild's upper ranks knew that something significant was about to unfold, and they needed to be prepared.

The annual ceremony always attracted a massive number of tourists from all over Teyvat. Liyue Harbor was particularly crowded, but now, Guiliyuan had also become a major hub. With it now being the second-largest port in Liyue, countless ships arrived daily.

Travelers from various nations filled the streets, eager to witness the ceremony. Many of them had come from Inazuma, seeking work. Now that the country had reopened, economic recovery was a priority. Those in need of money saw Liyue as a land of opportunity.

After handling arrangements at Guiliyuan, Takumi prepared to return to Liyue Harbor. He gathered a few belongings and looked at the group accompanying him:

Klee Yaoyao Noelle Kirara Yae Miko Kamisato Ayaka

Meanwhile, Shen He opted to stay behind to oversee things in Guiliyuan. Takumi didn't object, as he would only be gone for a few days at most. Once the Rite of Descension was over, he would return.

"All right, let's go!" Takumi announced.

The group boarded their respective vehicles. Their motorcycles lifted into the air, flying toward Liyue Harbor.

Upon arrival, Takumi was met with heavy traffic on the roads. The streets were packed with vehicles heading toward the harbor.

"Wow! So many people!" Klee exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement.

"Every year, the Rite of Descension draws large crowds to Liyue Harbor," Yaoyao explained as she rode alongside Klee. "This year seems livelier than ever."

"That's great! Klee loves big crowds!" she cheered.

Takumi chuckled before turning to Yaoyao. "Later, you'll take care of Klee and the others. Keqing and I need to meet with Ningguang."

"Got it, Brother Takumi! I'll look after them," Yaoyao replied confidently.

Back at Liyue Harbor, everyone returned to Takumi's residence. He left Klee and the others to settle in while he and Keqing headed straight for the Jade Chamber.

With Noelle helping to keep things organized, he had no worries. Barbara and the others had likely returned already. Ever since arriving in Liyue, Barbara had been spending time with Yun Jin and Xinyan, often staying out late.

As for Ayaka and Yae Miko, they were fully capable of finding their own activities in the bustling city. Most likely, they would spend the day shopping in Liyue Harbor.

Upon arriving at the Jade Chamber, Takumi and Keqing parked their vehicles and were greeted by Ningguang's secretary, Baishi.

"Master Takumi, Master Keqing," she said, bowing slightly. "Please, come in."

Takumi nodded, stepping inside alongside Keqing.

Inside, three people were waiting: Ningguang, Ganyu, and Yelan.

Seeing Yelan, Takumi was slightly surprised. He hadn't expected Ningguang to summon her back.

"Miss Yelan," Keqing greeted her politely.

Yelan nodded in return, before turning her gaze to Takumi. This was her first time seeing him in person. She had been back in Liyue for a while now and had heard many things about him.

This was the man who had reshaped Liyue's economy and society. Impressive.

"Hello," Yelan said smoothly. "I'm Yelan, affiliated with the General Affairs Bureau."

Liyue's administrative structure had recently been redefined. The General Affairs Bureau was now split into two branches:

The General Affairs Bureau of Liyue Harbor The General Affairs Bureau of Guiliyuan

Technically, Yelan's statement was accurate. However, Takumi had his doubts.

He glanced at her, his expression skeptical. "Really? I don't recall seeing your name in the official records."

Before Yelan could respond, Ningguang interjected.

"Yelan is someone we trust completely," Ningguang said. "Though she works under the General Affairs Bureau, her name doesn't appear in any public records."

"Ah, I see," Takumi mused. "She's an agent, then. Like Anbu."

Both Ningguang and Yelan blinked in confusion.

"What's Anbu?" Ningguang asked.

Takumi chuckled. "A group of covert operatives… similar to what you have here."

Yelan smirked. "That's one way to put it."

It seemed Takumi had a quick grasp of things. This meeting was going to be interesting.
