Chapter 407

When the hostess of Liuli Pavilion saw Takumi, she hurriedly greeted him.

"Master Takumi, please come in."

Hearing her words, Takumi couldn't help but ask, "Is Zhongli here?"

The young lady in charge of hospitality quickly responded, "Mr. Zhongli and Ms. Guizhong are in the Heaven and Earth room. Master Takumi, I will take you there."

She was very polite and immediately led the way.

After a short walk, they arrived at the private room where Zhongli and Guizhong were seated. The hostess knocked on the door, and upon hearing a voice from inside, she opened it.

Takumi walked in without hesitation.

Zhongli and Guizhong were both slightly surprised to see him.

"Takumi? How come you're here?" Zhongli asked curiously.

Indeed, they were both puzzled by Takumi's unexpected visit to Liyue Harbor.

However, Zhongli didn't dwell on it. "Since you're here, join us. I need to ask you something anyway."

Zhongli invited Takumi to sit, and without hesitation, Takumi pulled out a chair and took a seat. The waitress quickly brought an extra set of bowls and chopsticks before quietly leaving.

Once she had left, Zhongli finally spoke, "If you have time, help me with Azhdaha's condition. The erosion is worsening, and if we don't address it soon, there might be serious consequences."

He continued speaking while eating, casually mentioning his request.

Takumi was not surprised—it was indeed about Azhdaha.

"Alright," he replied. "Is it still sealed? It hasn't broken free?"

Zhongli calmly took another bite of food before answering, "My power has returned."

That one sentence answered all of Takumi's questions.

Zhongli's strength had been fully restored after numerous treatments from Takumi. With his power at its peak once again, the seal on Azhdaha had only grown stronger.

Thus, Azhdaha breaking free was simply impossible.

Though Zhongli had retired, it didn't mean he had vanished.

If Morax had truly disappeared, then it would have been a different matter.

Takumi thought about this. Perhaps, in the game's storyline, Azhdaha was only able to break free due to the erosion of the Geo Archon's power.

Otherwise, breaking the seal should not have been so easy.

"Then I'll go check on him later," Takumi decided. "Tomorrow, I'm heading to The Chasm. There are reports of Abyss Order activity there, so I want to investigate. Also, Ningguang is working on constructing a road to Sumeru."

Zhongli nodded, understanding the significance of the situation.

After a moment's thought, he added, "Since you're going to The Chasm, look out for Xiao. He may be in trouble."

With that, he said no more.

Takumi was momentarily stunned but soon understood.

So, Xiao had ventured underground as well?

"I'll keep an eye out," Takumi assured him. "If anything happens, I'll lend a hand. Also, there's something about the space energy in The Chasm…"

His thoughts trailed off as excitement flickered in his eyes.

Could this be an opportunity to awaken the Herrscher of the Void's power?

Or was he still unqualified?

Zhongli glanced at Takumi but remained silent.

Guizhong, on the other hand, continued eating quietly, not interrupting their discussion.

Once the meal was finished, Takumi had learned all he needed to know.

So, he didn't linger.

After parting ways with Zhongli and Guizhong, Takumi wandered around Liyue Harbor for a while.

Even though many people had moved to Guiliyuan, Liyue Harbor was still thriving.

As he strolled, Takumi reached the old housing district.

Demolition work was already underway, and Keqing was present, overseeing everything.

Seeing her, Takumi couldn't help but admire her efficiency. She had only mentioned this in passing, and now work was already in progress.

"Takumi? Is your business settled?" Keqing, who had been reviewing documents, turned to him in surprise.

"Yes, everything's handled. Tomorrow, I'm heading to The Chasm."

He looked at the demolition site and commented, "Wow, you move fast. Everything's being torn down already. What's going to be built here?"

Keqing didn't hide anything and handed him the blueprints.

"We're using reinforced concrete for the new structures, integrating Liyue's traditional design with modern durability. Since this is a residential area, the buildings won't be too tall—mostly small villas."

Takumi glanced over the plans and nodded. "Looks good. Eventually, the older buildings in Liyue Harbor will need to be replaced too, right? Honestly, if a fire breaks out, a lot of houses here could be lost instantly."

From his perspective, Liyue Harbor had many fire hazards.

Keqing rolled her eyes at his bluntness but couldn't deny the truth in his words.

Many houses in Liyue Harbor were built from wood. If a fire broke out, an entire street could go up in flames.

It had happened before.

Now that reinforced concrete was available, future buildings could be much safer.

Keqing sighed. "That's exactly why we're doing this. We'll gradually replace the old wooden structures to improve fire safety."

Takumi waved a hand dismissively. "Alright, I'll leave you to it. I'm heading off."

With that, he left Keqing behind and continued wandering through Liyue Harbor.

That evening, Takumi stayed at his house.

The next morning, after a quick breakfast, he set off for The Chasm.

Flying high into the sky, he soared over Mt. Tianheng, heading directly for The Chasm.

Along the way, he spotted workers constructing roads below. Some areas were already being developed.

"Ningguang is probably planning to build factories here," he mused.

It was obvious.

Glancing down at the progress below, Takumi didn't dwell on it.

Instead, he pushed forward at full speed.

After nearly two hours, he finally reached The Chasm.

As he approached, he heard a loud explosion in the distance.

Then, a familiar voice rang out.

"Bouncy Bomb!!"

Hearing this, Takumi couldn't help but smirk.

It was Klee.

Of course, he would hear Klee's voice the moment he arrived.

Amused, he accelerated toward the source of the noise.

As he approached, he saw Klee happily blasting away at a massive rock formation.
