Chapter 462

After feeding Himeko medicine, everyone left one after another, leaving Noelle in the room to take care of her.

In reality, there wasn't much that needed to be done. Himeko only needed time to recover physically.

Later, Xiangling arrived, bringing the medicinal meal she had prepared. Seeing Himeko lying on the bed, she was visibly shocked.

She could feel how weak Himeko was.

"What happened? It feels like she's barely hanging on."

"Lulu~!!" Guoba also nodded in agreement.

Noelle heard Xiangling's question and didn't hide anything. She explained how Klee and the others had found Himeko and how Takumi had replaced all her internal organs during treatment.

Hearing this, Xiangling smacked her lips.

"That's terrifying... She must have been in unbearable pain. It's a miracle she survived."

Fortunately, they had Takumi. Otherwise, survival would have been impossible.

Xiangling didn't stay long and left soon after. Noelle then began feeding Himeko the porridge—by directly pouring it into her mouth since Himeko couldn't move or even regain consciousness.

Ideally, an IV drip would be used in such situations, but the necessary equipment wasn't available. This was the only option.

Keqing and Shenhe didn't stay either. After confirming that Himeko was stable, they returned to their work.

As for Klee and the others, they stayed for a while before leaving. However, Qiqi and Yaoyao remained at home to help take care of Himeko.

Takumi spent the entire day studying the armor.

On the second day, he checked on Himeko again. After confirming that there were no major issues, he went about his usual tasks. Noelle would continue taking care of Himeko, and if anything happened, she would notify him immediately.

Meanwhile, Ningguang had learned about Takumi taking in a visitor from another world. She even called to ask about it. Takumi assumed that Zhongli would visit soon.

And just as he expected, shortly after Takumi arrived at the General Affairs Department, Zhongli showed up, accompanied by Guizhong.

Seeing them, Takumi gestured for them to sit before speaking first.

"Master, are you here to ask about the person Klee and the others found?"

Zhongli nodded. "She carries a terrifying power. Something far more formidable than elemental energy—or even the Abyss."

After saying this, Zhongli's gaze fell on Takumi.

At this point, Takumi had completely converted his elemental power into Honkai energy. He no longer radiated the presence of elemental energy.

"So it's true," Zhongli muttered. "This is Honkai energy. A universal force. How would it affect our world?"

Takumi chuckled. "No harm."

He was joking, of course. If there was any potential harm, it would come from him. By that logic, Takumi himself was the greatest threat.

Zhongli nodded, still watching him carefully. Then, he asked, "That woman—she should be fine now, right? And it seems like you know her? Is she from the same world as you?"

"Not exactly," Takumi replied. "Our world exists on a tree—a vast construct with countless worlds growing from it. Teyvat is just one of those worlds. Himeko likely comes from a neighboring world on this tree. Their world is quite dangerous."

Takumi briefly explained the concept of the Imaginary Tree.

Zhongli raised an eyebrow at this revelation. "Interesting..."

Guizhong also seemed fascinated.

A world growing on a tree? This was a strange concept indeed.

After thinking for a moment, Zhongli took out a bottle of elixir and handed it to Takumi.

"This is for her. It will speed up her recovery."

Takumi accepted it without hesitation. "Alright, I'll give it to her. When she wakes up, you can talk to her if you have any questions."

Zhongli nodded. "That works."

With that, he and Guizhong left.

Takumi then sent Shenhe to deliver the medicine to Noelle so Himeko could take it.

Roughly three days later, Himeko finally woke up.

"Water..."

A weak voice came from her lips.

Noelle, who had been reading a book nearby, immediately perked up.

"Wait a moment, I'll get it right away!"

She hurried to pour a glass of water, then returned and carefully lifted Himeko to help her drink.

Himeko's entire body was weak. She had no strength at all.

As she looked at the unfamiliar ceiling, confusion flickered in her eyes.

Slowly, her memories began to resurface.

"...Kiana..."

Then she remembered something else—several young voices calling out anxiously.

She vaguely recalled being rescued by a group of little ones. Though she had been unconscious, she could still hear their worried voices.

After a moment, Noelle set the cup down and gently propped Himeko up against the headboard.

"Miss Himeko, I've already notified Takumi. He should be back soon."

As she spoke, she also sent messages to Takumi and Klee.

Hearing Noelle's words, Himeko blinked in confusion.

"Takumi? Who's that?"

After drinking some water, she felt slightly better.

Noelle, dressed in her maid armor, patiently answered.

"Miss Himeko, I am Noelle, a maid of the Knights of Favonius."

Himeko was puzzled. "Knights of Favonius? What's that?"

She had never heard of such an organization.

Looking around the room, she noticed how unfamiliar everything seemed.

This place didn't look like anything from the modern world.

"Where... am I?"

At that moment, uncertainty gripped Himeko.

Her body was frail, and she could no longer feel any Honkai energy.

Panic started to set in.

She desperately wanted to know where she was.
