Takumi opened a space portal and returned to the manor immediately upon learning that Himeko was awake.
As soon as he went upstairs, he overheard the conversation between Himeko and Noelle. Without hesitation, he pushed the door open and entered.
Then he said, "This is the continent of Teyvat. It's another world."
His voice was sudden, catching Himeko's attention. Noelle quickly stood up and greeted him.
"Brother Takumi."
Hearing Noelle's words, Takumi nodded. Meanwhile, Himeko's eyes widened.
The man in front of her…?
Even though she had lost her Honkai abilities, the aura Takumi exuded felt more dangerous than that of a Herrscher. His presence was exactly like that of a Herrscher.
"Herrscher?" she muttered.
Did she just fall into a den of Herrschers?
Himeko could tell instantly—Takumi was not an ordinary human, but a Herrscher.
Takumi sighed at her reaction. "That's right! I'm a Herrscher!"
There was no point in hiding it.
Noelle, however, looked confused. "What's a Herrscher?"
Seeing Takumi admit it so casually, Himeko was momentarily speechless. But after some thought, she realized that the man before her didn't seem hostile.
Was he… on humanity's side?
Her eyes suddenly lit up. "Can you tell me what kind of world this is?"
Since she had arrived in this world, she needed to understand it.
Takumi nodded and explained, "You were found by Klee. Klee said you fell out of a space portal. You were gravely injured, and Ganyu immediately used her adeptal magic to save your life. Then they brought you to me, and I removed all the Honkai energy from your body before treating you."
He then sighed. "Honestly, you were in a terrible state. Your entire body was covered in wounds, and even your internal organs were completely shattered. But you were lucky. If it weren't for Ganyu and Klee, you might have died the moment you arrived in this world."
Himeko remained silent for a moment, thinking back to her last battle.
She remembered falling into what seemed like an endless ocean.
Then… nothing.
Little Klee… was she the owner of that soft, cute voice?
"As for this world," Takumi continued, "this is Teyvat, a completely different world from yours. Or maybe you could say it's the world next door, just a million dimensions apart."
He made a small gesture with his fingers to indicate distance.
Himeko was speechless.
Was she seriously in another world?
Takumi continued explaining, helping Himeko understand the world she had ended up in.
"The world here is not plagued by Honkai. In fact, I am the only Honkai entity here," he added with a smirk. "But I'm different from the Honkai in your world. Here, the world is ruled by the Seven Archons…"
Takumi gave a basic rundown of Teyvat's structure, explaining the gods, visions, and elemental powers.
Himeko listened carefully.
A world without Honkai?
And this guy, instead of being an agent of destruction, was helping civilization advance?
For the first time, she had heard of a Honkai being that actually helped humans.
She was shocked.
Instead of destroying civilization, he was developing it?
This went against everything she knew about Honkai.
Maybe, just maybe… this guy really was different.
Just as she was thinking this, a group of children ran into the room.
"Is Himeko awake?" a cheerful, adorable voice asked.
Himeko was momentarily dazed.
For a brief second, she thought she heard Teresa's voice.
Looking up, she saw a small girl leading the group inside.
Was this the one who rescued her?
She was so cute.
A smile tugged at the corners of Himeko's lips.
"Hello! I'm Klee!" the little girl introduced herself excitedly. "Himeko Auntie, are you feeling better?"
Hearing Klee's words, Himeko wanted to reach out and pat her head.
But she had no strength.
She sighed and gave up on the idea.
"Hello," she said warmly. "I am Himeko Murata. You can call me Himeko Auntie."
Klee nodded enthusiastically. Qiqi and Yaoyao also introduced themselves, and soon, the little girls surrounded Himeko, bombarding her with endless questions.
Despite her weakness, Himeko patiently answered them one by one.
She seemed much softer than before.
Perhaps it was because she had come so close to death.
After chatting for a while, fatigue settled in.
Her body had yet to recover.
Noticing this, Takumi immediately stepped in.
"Alright, that's enough for now. Let Himeko Auntie rest. She's still not fully recovered."
Although he didn't understand why Klee was so fond of Himeko, he still put a stop to their chatter.
Klee nodded seriously. "Okay! Then, Himeko Auntie, get lots of rest!"
She then beamed and added, "Once you're all better, I'll take you to blow up fish! I found a place with really tasty fish!"
Takumi facepalmed.
Himeko, however, chuckled.
This little girl was adorable.
"Alright. Once I'm better, I'll definitely go with you."
Who could say no to such a cute little girl?
Satisfied, Klee and the others left the room.
Before leaving, Takumi placed a smartphone on the bedside table.
"Once you recover, use this to access the internet and learn more about this world. Noelle, I'll leave Himeko in your care."
Noelle straightened up and nodded. "Understood, Brother Takumi! I'll take good care of Miss Himeko!"
Taking care of people was her specialty, after all.
With that, Takumi left, following Klee and the others.
Once they were gone, Noelle helped Himeko lie back down.
"Miss Himeko, rest well. I'll wake you up when it's time for your medicine."
Her voice was gentle and reassuring.
Himeko nodded. "Sorry for the trouble."
She sighed.
Right now, she was completely helpless.
She needed assistance for even the simplest things.
It felt strange.
But there was nothing she could do.
With one last sigh, Himeko slowly closed her eyes.
She was still so tired.
This body of hers was far too weak.
