Chapter 482

The mining vehicle designed for operations in the snow mountain can now begin production.

Takumi quickly made adjustments to the engine and made slight modifications to the car's interior to ensure it could function properly in extremely cold conditions. The most outstanding feature of this vehicle is its durability and resilience.

After finalizing the design, Takumi sent it to the car workshop. Over time, the workers there had become proficient vehicle manufacturers. With detailed blueprints provided, they could easily produce the required vehicles. There were even reports that they were already researching vehicle models suitable for the Qianyan Army.

Takumi fully supported these developments.

Meanwhile, at the school, the introduction of Himeko's new subject sparked curiosity among the students. Why was there a sudden new course? What made it different from the existing ones?

When the announcement was posted, many students gathered in surprise.

"Physics? Mechanical Dynamics?" some murmured.

"These are closely related to mechanistic techniques!"

"This will help us understand the principles behind mechanism arts in greater detail."

The revelation excited the students. Mechanism classes mainly focused on crafting and assembly, rarely explaining the underlying principles. Now, with this new subject, they could gain a deeper understanding.

Many students, especially those majoring in mechanistic arts, decided to attend the class the next day. Fortunately, they had no scheduled mechanistic arts classes then, making it the perfect opportunity.

On the other hand, Klee and her friends quickly adapted to school life. Since many of their classmates were from Qingce Village, they had already made friends before joining the school. This made integration smooth and enjoyable for them.

When Klee returned home in the evening, she eagerly shared her experiences with Takumi, who simply chuckled.

"Isn't that great?" he said.

The next morning, Klee and her friends eagerly went to school. Surprisingly, they showed no resistance to attending class. Only time would tell how long their enthusiasm would last.

Today was also Himeko's first day teaching.

She arrived at school with Klee and the others, prepared for her lesson. While Klee and her friends went to their respective classes, Himeko made final preparations.

The previous day, she had carefully planned her lesson. However, she still wondered whether any students would show up. After all, this was a brand-new subject in this world. It would be disappointing if no one attended.

Fortunately, her concerns were unnecessary.

As class time approached, a large number of students gathered, intrigued by the new course. Even some teachers who had no scheduled classes joined out of curiosity.

The textbooks that had been copied the day before were now stacked neatly at the classroom entrance. Students could pick up a set for themselves, free of charge.

Most school materials, aside from teachers' salaries, were provided at no cost. However, students were expected to be responsible for their belongings. If they lost their books, they would have to purchase replacements. A designated logistics teacher handled the distribution and kept records of issued books, ensuring accountability.

As class time officially began, students entered the classroom, collected their textbooks, and found seats. Soon, they were engrossed in flipping through the pages.

Those specializing in alchemy and mechanical arts were particularly intrigued. What they found inside the books exceeded their expectations. They were immediately drawn in.

Not long after, the classroom was full.

Himeko entered, and the room quieted as students and teachers alike turned their attention to her.

"Hello, everyone," Himeko greeted confidently. "I am Murata Himeko. Starting today, I will be your physics teacher."

She turned to the blackboard and wrote her name clearly. The students responded with applause.

Scanning the room, Himeko was pleased to see that hundreds of students and even some teachers had gathered. Encouraged by the turnout, she began her first lesson.

She started with fundamental physics principles, gradually building on them. Since physics and mechanical dynamics complemented each other, she taught them in conjunction.

As the lesson progressed, students listened attentively, absorbing the new concepts. Many of their long-standing doubts began to dissipate.

After covering the main topics, Himeko opened the floor for questions. Many students eagerly raised their hands, voicing their uncertainties.

Zhongli and Guizhong observed from the hallway. Seeing the engaged students and the lively discussion, they exchanged approving nods.

"It seems everyone is enjoying Himeko's class," Guizhong remarked with a smile.

"Indeed," Zhongli agreed. "The content in those books is quite valuable."

Guizhong was particularly impressed. She had read the teaching materials beforehand and found them fascinating. In fact, they had even helped her clarify some doubts regarding her rocket project.

"This will help improve my own work as well," she noted, feeling more confident in her upcoming experiments.

Zhongli, however, had his mind on something else.

He glanced toward Sumeru's direction and mused, "It seems something significant is happening over there... and a battle may already be underway."
