Melody looked at me in disbelief, quickly walking up to me and grabbing my sleeve.
She asked urgently, "You won two hundred million dollars in the lottery? Nolan, is that true?"
I saw the greed hidden beneath her shocked expression, a side of her I had never seen before.
I ignored her, not wanting to engage with her at all.
I took Ivy's hand on my own accord and said softly, "Ivy, let's go. I'll take you to another store to look at clothes."
Ivy's cheeks turned slightly red as she nodded.
Just as we were about to walk out of the store, Melody anxiously chased after us:
"Nolan, what do you mean by this?"
"What exactly is your relationship with this woman?"
Her tone carried a hint of jealous frustration.
After all, in all our years of marriage, I had rarely ignored her so directly.
Moreover, I had never associated with any other women besides her.
"Come on, Melody, I bet there's something fishy going on here. I don't believe Nolan could be that lucky."
