I didn't respond to her, instead leading Ivy away.

At the restaurant, I was escorted by the waiter to a private room on the top floor.

As we went upstairs, Melody and her group were just being seated in the main dining area.

When our eyes met, I noticed the jealousy and curiosity in all of their gazes, which gave me a sense of satisfaction.

During the meal,

Ivy and I chatted about our college days and discussed our future plans.

"I intend to use the money I have to start a business, beginning from scratch."

"Over the years, I've gained a lot of experience and have always had this idea, but I didn't have enough cash and had heavy financial responsibilities at home. Now, I finally have the opportunity."

Ivy and I were in the same department in college and work in the same field.

Hearing about my entrepreneurial aspirations, she offered to introduce me to potential clients and shared many tips on what to watch out for when starting a business.

This made my vision clearer.
