Chapter 3: Confrontation in the Monolith World

Raka felt the ground beneath his feet shake as he and Lily suddenly appeared in the middle of a vast field. The air around him felt heavy and tense, as if this world was waiting for something. To the right, not far from them, another group of participants appeared in the same flash of light. Their faces showed the same surprise as Raka felt.

???: "What is this..."

Raka almost shouted, but his voice was drowned out by the howling wind.

However, before Raka could understand the situation further, Lily had already moved. She stretched out her hands with a graceful movement, and in an instant, two ice spears formed in the air. Raka's eyes widened at the sight. The two spears hurtled with deadly speed, directly towards the other participants who were still in a panic.

They didn't even have time to react. The ice spears pierced through their defenses with ease, and in an instant, they fell to the ground without resistance. Raka could only watch in awe and a little horror at Lily's efficiency and speed in making decisions.

Lily: "Don't get in my way," Lily said in a cold tone, staring at Raka with a sharp gaze.

Raka was silent for a moment, digesting what had just happened.

Raka: "I... I understand," he muttered.

After making sure that their opponents were completely immobile, Raka and Lily noticed something new on their wrists. A bracelet with a faint glow appeared, giving off a slight vibration.

The monotonous voice from the bracelet was heard, making Raka feel a little uncomfortable.

|Attention, a storm is coming. Immediately find a safe zone as the surrounding area will experience a deadly storm. Here is the geographical information and directions to the safe place.|

Raka: (Looking at the bracelet with a confused and amazed expression) "So this is how they organize the exam," he muttered, partly talking to himself. Lily raised an eyebrow, looking at Raka with a sharp look.

Lily: "What do you mean?" she asked coldly.

Raka: (Scratches his head a little nervously.) "I mean, the academy might have deliberately placed us close to other groups to trigger a fight. That way, we are forced to fight them if we want to get this bracelet that gives us information to the safe zone."

Lily: (Was silent for a moment, then nodded.) "Like sheep being led to slaughter," she muttered in a cold tone, making Raka feel a little intimidated.

He smiled stiffly and agreed with Lily's statement, even though it sounded a bit cruel.

Raka: "Well, that's how it is," (While glancing at the bracelet on his wrist)

After getting directions from the bracelet, Raka and Lily began to move towards the safe zone, passing through various obstacles and challenging terrains in the Monolith World.

Outside the Monolith World, Stella and Airi stood in front of a large magic screen that monitored the progress of the exam. Stella stared at the screen with a flat expression, occasionally frowning at some scenes that seemed too brutal for a school exam.

Stella: (In a sarcastic tone) "The academy is really cunning, this is just for a seat."

Airi: (Smiled slightly, looking at the screen with an analytical gaze) "It's more than that. This is a way to test the students' worthiness to receive the best education. They must show their ability to survive and fight."

Stella: "Like natural selection,"

The magic screen displayed the top score list for this exam, and at the top was the name of Alya and Kris. Stella raised an eyebrow at the sight, a little surprised but also impressed.

Airi: (Her voice was full of pride) "Alya is truly amazing, you have found a successor who is truly like you." (Speaking a little annoyed)

Stella only smiled at the remark, her eyes fixed on Alya's image on the screen. Around her, many dead bodies of other students were scattered, showing how terrible Alya's power was.

Stella: "She is indeed extraordinary," she murmured, her voice sounding full of mixed feelings between admiration and worry.

Inside the Monolith World, Alya stood calmly in the middle of a field filled with motionless bodies. Her blue eyes stared straight ahead, as if unaffected by the chaos around her. She was an unstoppable force, and anyone who dared to approach her would feel her wrath. Kris stood nearby, watching with sharp eyes, ready to face anyone who dared to challenge them.

The exam has just begun, and the fight for survival will only get tougher. For Raka, this is the first step in his long journey at Stellar Academy.
