Drugged

Alexi car came to a halt in front of a forty-two floor apartment with lots of flower that seemed to bloom than usual under the neon lights, Natalie retrieved his luggage as they made their way to the entrance of the building.

"Natalie, you are quite late today" The man at the front desk asked.

"I encountered some issue at the office Mr Myron...This is Mr suit, he is gonna be here for two weeks" Natalie introduced with a smile, She didn't waste time since Alexi gaze wasn't the friendly one at all.

"Goodbye Mr Myton see you later" She said and led Alexi and herself towards the lift. She pressed the floor number and maintained her distance from him.

"Mr Suit, sorry for the inconveniencies you encountered my colleagues are not that irresponsible it just has been a bad day for Al of us" She said keeping that her professional smile on but he looked at her with his blank expression.

"Guess we are on the same page then, you know Bora Bora is..."Natalie explained everything about to him but he wasn't even listening, he just put on his ear pods. They got to the floor and Natalie led the way without keeping her mouth shut till they got to her door, she inputed her password and the door opened.

"We are here...Papa" She rushed to hug him dumping Alexi load on the floor. She showered his face with lots of kisses before hugging him tight. "I missed you papa, you don't know how scared I was that the joker in the terrifier movie would come and peel off my skin"

"Silly girl...If you are that scared then don't watch it again" The father said breaking the hug, he glanced up to see Alexi just entering. He looked at his daughter with a questioning look and she smiled before going to meet Alexi.

"Papa this is...

" I'll do the honour of introducing myself, you don't have to"He cut her off cooly. "Alexi Cross"

"Thomas silver" Thomas said with a smile. Natalie picked up the bag with a genuine and carefree smile.

"Let me show you your room...Mr Cross" Natalie said and showed him a room, that was opposite hers. The room was tidied and clean yet it seemed like it hadn't been used for quite a while only cleaned regularly.

"Occupy this place during your stay...I know it's not up to your tastes but its the best I got" Natalie said picking up the two frames in the room before he got a chance to see who it was, he just shrugged it off as her secret everyone deserves a little secret to themselves and he wasn't a person to pry in other persons business.

"What will you like for dinner" She asked.

"Got some booze" He replied, she gave a tight smile.

"I'm sorry to burst your bubbles but this is my house and you will do as I say" Natalie said with a raised chin.

"I'm supposed to negotiate" He asked with a frown.

"I repeat this is not an hotel room...Your coffee will be ready in ten" She said in her professional smile not sparing another glance before walking out, After exactly ten minutes she walked in With a tray filled with a cup of coffee and a bowl of noodles she walked out the same way no flirty smile or backward glance. He stared at her retreating figure with a hint of interest but it went as soon as it came. He glanced at his phone to see a message from his grandma upon reading it his eyes darkened immensely.

Natalie walked out of the room to find Thomas dressed up, immediately she came out he spranged up to his feet with a hint of agitation.

"Papa, Where are you going in the middle of the night all dressed up like this" She asked looking at his formal attire.

"I'm going to work" He lied avoiding her gaze, her eyes turned moist in tears. "Really?... So it's true, it's true that you borrowed money from D.M,why?"She asked her voice trembling with immense fear.

"I'm sorry...you needed money to finish your education...my hand was tied, I felt like an incapable father...

"Now that you have done it does it tally it up to what a good father does... I can't loose you, that man is shamless and he will just love want to trample on you don't go" She cut him off with tears streaming down her face, he came near her and pulled her to a hug.

"Natty dear I'm sorry, you are my joy and my pride...your father loves you" He hugged her tight he gave her tissue to clean her face, she wiped her face with the tissue and they became pale before she collapsed in his arms, he gently placed her on the couch and caressed her hair before walking out with a forlorn look. He knew she was going to try and stop him that's why he came up with a back up plan.

The morning sun shone on Natalie features making her look otherworldly, Alexi paused in his tracks taking in the amazing view on sight. His eyes is fully concentrated on her sleepy face, his eyes wandered her body to her exposed thighs he walked to her and tapped her arm in a bid to wake her.

"Wh.. What?" She looked up at him puzzled, she sat up immediately and looked around the place before setting her eyes on Alexi.

"Papa...No, papa" She stood up in panic before getting her phone, she dialed Thomas's line thrice and he finally picked at the last minute.

"Oh dear...You are awake" He said in an awkward way, she inquired about his location but he just gave a casual response no real answer before hanging up.

"Papa..."She wiped her tear strikened face.

" I'm going for a morning jog follow me"He said in his authoritative tone.

"No" She said and there was a knock on the door by some her neighbour. She attended to them and entered only to be thrown over the shoulder and taken to her room.

"No, no... Please Mr Cross, I beg of you" She struggled but he didn't budge, he sped her on the bed and threw a short tanktop and a workout leggings from her wardrobe at her.

"Wear this" He said looking all deadly at her but she stared at him not ready to back down. He suddenly smiled at her leaving her confused, he knelt beside her.

"I love fiesty ones, if you keep on saying no I'll have to strip you myself and when I say I don't care if it take all morning little cat. It's either you strip yourself or I strip you" He whispered, his warm breath fanning her ear sending out different signals to the pit of her stomach.
