Fluctuations began to shake the earth briefly in an unknown forest. Afterward, the void cracked, and a portal opened, throwing someone out like a piece of trash.
"Ah, damn!" The man stood up abruptly after a moment.
This couldn't be anyone else but Galen, who had been warped away. He remembered strange letters appearing on the walls of the classroom. These strange characters lit up before engulfing the room in light.
"Where is this?" Galen looked around and found that he was in a thick forest.
"That mysterious system panel said we would be teleported to the World of Aldnoah. This must be that world."
"That's right. I had a system panel last time so maybe it would show me my status or something."
'System!' Galen spoke in his thoughts.
Right then, a purple virtual screen appeared in front of him.
_____
______ 'It really worked. I have stats just like a video game!' Galen was shocked. He had read several novels before, so he knew a thing or two. Right then, information rushed into Galen's mind; causing him a minor headache. What he saw were several trees that appeared to have skills on them. Galen quickly learned that these were skill trees based on his elemental mastery. He had seen his extremely high attainment in each mastery. "Unlocking skills from these Mastery Trees is based on Wisdom. I can use Teleport and Imbue from the Spatial Mastery Tree." "Let's give it a try." Galen focused on an area he wished to teleport to before warping away. "It worked!" Galen was elated. In almost every type of scenario; the Space Element was one of the strongest. "Oh, I got fortunate this time." Galen smiled before checking the Spatial Skill tree again. ____ +/-Space Mastery / Rank: SSS / [Imbue: 20 W] [Teleport: 50W] [Subspace Storage: 120W] [Spatial Perception: 150W] [Flight: 200] [Waypoint: 300 W] [Spatial Gate: 400 W] [Pocket Dimension: 600 W] ____ These counted as support skills but they could be synergized with offensive capabilities. The Spatial Skill Tree also had a defensive and offensive skill tree. Regrettably, accessing the defensive tree necessitated reaching level 20. In contrast, the offensive tree required him to attain level 40. Origin Core: 2,480 / 2,500 Galen checked his status and saw that teleport subtracted 20 points from his Core. "Is this Core like some sort of energy storage? This is the only possibility I can think of after seeing it drop." Galen nodded and concluded that this was the answer. "I need protection for the night, though it seems early in the day." Galen still needed to prepare, he had no clue where he was. He only knew this was a world called Aldnoah. Galen had his book bag, which contained his lunch and other snacks for his field trip. "At most, this food can last me for a day or even a day and a half." Galen frowned. There were too many things he had to worry about. Leon unlocked Spatial Storage and tried to use it. His eyes widened as a space opened for him to place items. "Wisdom seems to be the highest stats besides my Core Energy." Galen had already placed his backpack into the Storage Space. "The sun sits high, it must be high noon. It's still early in the day so the sun won't set anytime soon." Galen assessed his additional abilities, including Spatial Perception. This skill enabled him to perceive and observe everything within a 5-mile radius. However, Galen realized that his existing level constrained this ability. The range would increase as his level grew. 'Spatial Perception!' Galen spoke in his thoughts as his vision and perception expanded across the forest. He didn't see any roads that may lead to any civilizations within a 5-mile radius. However, Galen saw something that caught his attention immediately. He saw two green-skinned creatures sneaking up on a rabbit. These creatures were recognizable to Galen as Goblins. This revelation naturally stunned him; there were monsters in this forest?! One was carrying a rusty dagger, while the other one trailed along. This wasn't the only odd thing about this situation. The rabbit was also strange since this rabbit had a horn protruding out of its forehead. 'What the heck is going on?' Galen's eyebrows knitted but he remained calm. "It seemed this place was really like some sort of video game. I may need to kill monsters to level up." Galen wanted to kill these monsters but he needed to secure a rest zone for himself. Not to mention, he needed to be careful because once you die; there was no respawning. Galen had done a quick rundown of each Elemental Branch. He quickly got to work and summoned a Rock Golem. This guy stood at 5 meters tall, which was the same height as a Giraffe, for context. Galen required 150 Wisdom to summon such an entity. Its eyes radiated yellow light. Since it was his summon, he could preview its status. ______ ______ 'Its level is zero just like me.' Galen theorized that this summons scaled off his level. 'It also has nothing but defensive skills which is fine for now.' Galen instructed it to stand by for now. He wanted to summon another type of Golem from the Nature's Elemental Tree. Galen reached his hand out toward a tree and it began to deconstruct. Afterward, the tree was reconstructed to take a different shape. Eventually, the creation of a Wood Golem was formed! Galen smiled as he was filled with content from his new creation. The Wood Golem's eyes were radiating with a forest green, signifying its alignment with nature. Naturally, Galen previewed its status. _____ _____ This Golem consisted of what you'd expect from its name...wood. However, there were leaves and even flowers growing on its body It obviously wasn't as durable as Rock Golem but it had more Mana and Wisdom. It could even use a great support skill in Vine Grapple. The next thing Galen did was transform the landscape. He deconstructed several trees and turned them into wood logs for later use. This went on for about an hour until he had cleared a large space for himself. Galen was sweating and took out a bottle of water from his storage. He only had three bottles of water, but fortunately; he had the Water Mastery. "Was this world setting me up to be some sort of Arcanist?" Galen didn't have any Physical skills, but purely, or mostly; elemental-based ones. Origin Core: 1950 / 2,500 Galen checked his energy reserves and decided to continue working. Next, he set up tall Stone Walls in a large square formation. This was going to be a place where he would settle for the time being. Naturally, he created an entrance as well with his Golems guarding the front. The walls were 3 meters thick and 15 meters high all around. Galen fashioned a series of stone steps to climb the wall and gaze beyond it. The view was reminiscent of a castle rampart designed to protect him from possible dangers. This actually took Galen an hour and a half to complete. He was tired and sat down to eat the sub sandwich his mom prepared. "Nice, Turkey and Ham sandwich." Galen enjoyed the freshness of his sandwich. This sub was made in the morning and stored by Galen; so it couldn't be any fresher. While enjoying his food, Galen gazed around the solid stone walls he had created. It was more than enough to cultivate fields of crops and build a house. "I'm adapting fast to this situation. Honestly, when I transferred to my previous world I was hoping for this scenario." Surprisingly, this scenario would come later in the form of him being teleported to another world...again. "I have a 2-liter Cola and a 2-liter Spritty. I'll hold onto these items for the time being and keep them stored." Galen looked up and could see the Wood Golem. It was inside the walls with him while the Rock Golem guarded the Stone gate from outside. The Rock Golem had simple orders. That was to attack anyone or anything that got too close. "Let's check my other abilities out. I had a unique talent that said something about a Supermarket." As he was eating, Galen pulled his status window and checked the description of his unique ability. ______ 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭: One may exchange for just about anything. This ability allows the user to tailor-make his or her skills, items, armor, etc. Depending on the grade and the abilities effect, the Multiversal Supermarket will price it accordingly. The user may buy things from different worlds, timelines, the current world, or any past world. ______ "This ability is looking to be amazing!" Galen quickly brought up the market and saw many titles. ____ -Food & Beverages -Real Estate -Skills -Elixirs -Weapons & Armor -Items -Modern & Futuristic Items -Pets & Contractable Beast -Current Balance: Copper 0 / Silver 0 / Gold 0 / Platinum 0 / < One-time use Vouchers: 100% off Voucher, 50% off Voucher, ____ Galen saw many sections he could pick from but he was currently broke. "Oh, so this world's currency is Copper, Silver, Gold, and Platinum." Galen rubbed his chin. Just as he was about to click Real Estate, Galen heard a crash outside of the Stone Walls. All at once, Galen received a notification about something that got too close. This caused him to frown, but he finished his sandwich with one last bite. He had only eaten half his sub, so he planned to save the rest for later. "I better go check and see what that crash was. It was surely the Golem, someone or something must have been killed." Galen quickly rushed to the stone gates to investigate.
