Galen went to the gate before opening it and peeking out. He knew it was safe because the Golem would have attacked anything coming by.
Galen went out and walked over to the location of his Rock Golem. It was stationed near the unit it had attacked. The Wood Golem naturally followed Galen from behind, for extra protection.
As soon as Galen saw the body, his face cringed. This entity had been smashed into meat paste by his Golem. Galen quickly identified it as a Goblin, who might have gotten curious after seeing the erected stone walls.
He only knew that the Goblin had green blood.
"Oh, there's something." Galen saw two shiny copper coins on the destroyed corpse.
"I can earn money drops by killing monsters." Galen retrieved the copper coins before inspecting them.
Afterward, he activated Spatial Perception and discovered three more Goblins. They were close and were hunting what appeared to be a green-furred elk.
"These guys are a little too close, the less these create know of my existence the better." Eventually, they would likely discover Galen, but now wasn't the time for that.
'I have to get rid of them!' Galen's eyes sharpened and set out with his Golems.
After five minutes of walking, Galen arrived at their location. At this time, the Goblins had failed to kill the Green-furred Elk.
"No! Fail to catch food, big trouble we will be."
"Catch prey, set trap to catch rabbit easier!"
"Must catch food, or punish we be."
Galen had his Rock Golem hang back a distance since its footsteps were too loud.
Much to his surprise, Galen could hear that these Goblins speaking an unknown language. However, he somehow understood these Goblins.
Despite understanding them, their speech was obscure and weird.
"Vine Grapple the three of them," Galen ordered.
Heeding Galen's command, the Wood Golem activated its skill.
"Gigigi!(What?!)" The three Goblins were shocked as they were quickly entangled and suppressed by multiple vines.
They had suddenly risen from the soil! Galen smiled and stomped the ground when several spikes pierced their bodies!
Even as they died, they were confused as to what was going on.
"Nice!" This was Galen's only Offensive Earth Mastery ability so far. There were higher Earth Mastery Skills, such as Sink Hole but he didn't qualify to learn it.
The skill Sinkhole was deadly for many reasons since those with a higher level could essentially Sinkhole a whole city!
Galen walked over to the corpses and sure enough; they had dropped some 2 copper coins each.
"Hmm, I should have earned exp, right?" Galen quickly brought up his status board.
_____
_____ "Level three, huh? This is a good start, and I seem to get five distribution points a level." Without hesitation, Galen distributed his points into wisdom. "The higher my wisdom, the more skill I'll be able to gain." Soon he would have the ability to fly. Galen's primary goal was to unlock the Pocket Dimension skill. This would enable him to establish a tiny world where life forms could live. He was excited just thinking about it. Galen smiled and used Spatial Perception to find more targets. This time, black lines appeared on Galen's forehead because he detected a new monster. Although it was far away, it seemed to have come into his detection range while he was killing the Goblins. "This creature has a pig head and a fairly robust body. Are these the Eastern fantasy Orcs you'd see in Japanese novels?" Galen recalled the emergency back in his world when monsters were attacking. The Orcs at that time looked like the World of Warcraft ones. "These don't look like easy targets, I better not mess with this guy." Galen turned to his Wood Golem and found that it had the same level as him. "It seems that these guys really do scale off my level." The Orc wasn't the only thing he had detected. Galen had also detected more Goblins in another direction that wasn't so far. Moreover, there seemed to be a different type of Goblin among them. This Goblin was taller than these regular Goblins, and it was holding a Rusty Sword. "Could it be a Hobgoblin?" Galen had read several fantasies, so this was just his guess. "I just got here. I better not bite on more than I can chew or it will lead to trouble." Galen decided to attack a lone Goblin this time. This process lasted three hours and he was tired. Galen had to do this for many reasons. For one, Galen had discovered that he could buy a tent with his unique skill. He needed to sleep in something to sleep in. The second reason was that he needed to buy a toilet. This toilet was special and was called a Void Toilet. Galen would need to take a dump somewhere, and he didn't want to do this in the wild, of all places. It just felt uncomfortable to him. "My Origin Core energy is nearly exhausted, but I still have enough to fill my water bottles up." Galen had already eaten his sub sandwich during his hunt. Once he arrived at his base, the Golems got into their positions. "I've collected 32 copper coins. Killing that group of goblins really put me in the money." For his last hunt; he had killed a group of Goblins. "Will this alarm the Goblin community?" Galen wondered. "Hmm, I can't mind that now, I need to level up and get money." Galen had already reached level 8. "These friggin Goblins seem to be everywhere in the forest. I can farm these guys for a while before upgrading to greater prey." Galen's Wisdom had already reached 190. He spent 10 copper coins on a tent. Within the confines of his Stone Walls, a massive but organized pile of wood logs sat. The quantity of logs was substantial, as he had felled numerous trees to clear a site for the fort. "I need to get some sleep. I'm so tired from all the hunting I did today. I'll buy some seeds off the market and start cultivating this land." Galen possessed the ability of Nature Mastery, enabling him to cultivate plants. Furthermore, he had the power to speed up their development. "The only thing I lack is meat. If I could catch an Elk or Boar, then meat wouldn't be an issue." Galen could also buy meat from the Multiversal Supermarket, but he wanted to save some Copper coins. "Before I take a nap, I should explore the Multiversal Market." Galen thought about what vegetables and fruit he wanted to grow. "Dang, it! I need to purchase some comforter and a pillow before this." Galen would need to hunt more Goblins to earn more money. Before buying these things, Galen clicked the skill section, which he highlighted before clicking the search bar. Suddenly, a purple virtual keyboard appeared before Galen. "I need a skill that can preview status windows." This was the first thing he wanted to buy. >A͟n͟a͟l͟y͟z͟i͟n͟g͟ ͟S͟k͟i͟l͟l͟s͟ 🔍 After typing in the search bar, several investigation skills appeared. ______ _______ Galen sighed, as he couldn't afford such skills but he wasn't too disappointed. The cheapest things here were food and beverages so he could survive. "Maybe I outta consider being a merchant or something?" Galen wasn't optimistic about the idea. He would first need to find human civilization before he could start officially. "Once I hit level ten, I can summon more Rock and Wood Golems." The more protection he had, the better. "Soon I will also be able to summon Plant, Dirt, and Stone Golems!" Galen closed his eyes and checked the requirements to summon different types of Golems. Naturally, his Wisdom needed to increase for him to summon stronger types of Golems. "I'll need to hunt more Goblins to earn more money and exp." Galen knew he had to get stronger if he wanted to survive in this unknown world and location. Afterward, Galen bought a pillow and comforter for ten copper coins. This left him with twelve copper coins. "Alright. You stand by my tent throughout the day until I tell you to move." Galen gave an order to the Wooden Golem. Before going to sleep, Galen used Spatial Perception one last time. He didn't discover anything particularly new. He spotted the typical solo Goblins while some formed groups to hunt. Galen saw a group of them challenging a huge boar. The Goblins didn't stand a chance; their weapons couldn't even penetrate the boar's hide. The boar overwhelmed the Goblin group with ease. It was a friggin massacre! Galen didn't pry further before cozying up and falling asleep.
