Her personality is unlike what you'd imagine from the Marika written in Elden Ring lore, she is just the generic copy-paste "~fufufu" system waifu, not to mention the fact that she can read his thoughts and that he told her that her world is a video game and all that. my review maybe biased and unfair, but it is what it is, otherwise this fic was not that bad, it has good writing, and no noticeable grammar mistakes and I haven't read far enough into the story to tell you more so am going to stop here, the only reason I made this review was because I know that there are readers who share my dislike for the system/Marika's personality and the dynamique she shares with the mc (she's the dom and he's the blushing low level grunt(at least for the first few chapters)) and for that whole "revealed that your world is a video game" nonsense, and I wished to warn them, that is all, thank you.

Elden Ring fics are rare and the ones written are usually fucking shit. Helio is not a shit author, so I believe this will be good too. Only 4 chapters so far, but it hasn't disappointed me yet

It's one of those strange stories that aren't complicated, don't add too much extra things to the backstory of the world, but still manage to make me comeback for it every time there is an update. The concept is cool, the MC is cool, though he is a filthy blood build guy with a katana. It's very entertaining to read, and the companion system is written very well. The author is also quite good at writing dialogues so you don't have to worry about mechanical conversations. As for writing quality, if there was a grammatical mistake, then i haven't notice it, though i don't really nitpick grammer in general. I think as long as you aren't a person who just goes "oh sentient system: bad" you will very much enjoy this story, it's a pretty good one.

This is a very good fic, but it’s nearly ruined by “grammar checker” if you know what I mean. This story is already great and still has so much potential, I think that if the author went back to rewrite it to sound human it could be genuinely S-tier work. Still very much worth the read in its current stat, I’ll call it C+ tier. My only other complaint is that the MC named his character John Eldenring, but the author wussed out and refers to him as “tarnished”

From what has been posted so far I have very high hopes for this story keep up the great work man

The beginning is fun, it has a good premise (you don't see many good Elden Ring stories around here), the writing is also decent,It's worth following.
