Crossing over into the world of Cyberpunk 2077 should be an opportunity to make a big splash... Wait, hold on, isn't this the year 2075? Sure, it's already November, and 2076 is just around the corner, but I only know about what happens in 2077!
In this world, you might not want to live, but you can't afford to not have a job. Anyway, let's start by becoming a mercenary and picking up gigs. That sounds simple enough, but getting a job from a fixer only to face off against an ACPA (Armored Combat Personal Assist) right off the bat—aren't we going a bit overboard here? And who's this daughter of Michiko Arasaka? I've only seen the demo; I don't know these people! What kind of chaotic mission is this!?

Hello, yes, I'm the author! We’ve finally hit 100 chapters! I was speedrunning uploads to catch up with my translation and give myself some breathing room (work smarter, not harder, right?). But now, I’ll be slowing down to a more normal pace—two chapters a day or one, depending on how things go. Of course, if you want to read ahead, you can find early chapters on Patreon. Thanks for your understanding! And remember, if you spot any typos or weird mistakes, let me know before they start haunting me in my sleep. 😆
I’ll be publishing many chapters daily until I reach the current number, which I think is 103 for free, and 124 for paid. I wrote this review to let you know that I’m going to try reposting my translation of this fanfiction, which was taken down just because they felt like it. I’m already at chapter 100, so if anyone’s interested... ahem you know what to do. When I uploaded it the first time, it caught a lot of attention, but after they deleted it, there was nothing we could do. I JUST HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!
It's a really good novel that has everything from cyberpunk novels I would want .
Genuinely the best Cyberpunk translated novel I've ever read. Somehow managed to make it actually feel like cyberpunk, and all the characters actually feel like real people. It's nice to see an MC who isn't some edgy murder hobo aswell and all the banter between the crew is fun too and it's great that his cheat isn't super OP.
Glad this novel came back, i really liked the fact that the Mc actually learns skills from Braindances instead of it just being another entertainment tool like in other novels. They use Braindances to train People and its always ignored in cyberpunk fanfics
You must have cross-posted this, because the quality and quantity of this is legit high, it is rare for me to make a review unless I truly meant it, and with my high level and years as a member, you can rest assured that im no bot. be proud, you cooked.
I honestly love this fanfiction. The grammer is really good (in my opinion atleast) the charecter's actully feel like people. World backround is really nice. Now note i have only read upto chapter 20 but i still recommend this story.
First, thank you for the hard work. The translation is fairly good and the update rate is amazing. The main character is fairly likeable for a Chinese protagonist, he has the typical arrogance of someone powerful due to an outside source but he actively tries to better himself and does learn from mistakes while also creatively using his vague cheat. Unfortunately there are many repeated errors, that I’m sure originate from the source, that pulls you out of the story. Carl and Karl are swapped back and forth in a lot of chapters, dialogue is also italicized randomly with thoughts sometimes looking like they are spoken out loud. He also introduces himself both as Carl/Karl and KK to both fellow mercenaries and clients, which doesn’t make sense for a code name. The games original locations have incorrectly named translations such as Coyote Cojo being called wild wolf. Maine from edgerunners is almost always called Mann for some reason and Jackie is weirdly called Jack at times. Overall, this is a good translation with an interesting story that tries to remain true to the source material but sometimes falls flat. I can tell the original author respects the cyberpunk universe. It’s definitely worth checking out if you can ignore the issues I listed but I will not be continuing the story.
Very gooooooood Very gooooooood Very gooooooood Very gooooooood 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I really enjoyed the story so far and can’t wait to read more of it and by writing this I hope to see a extra chapter for the review
Amazing just amazing unlike all other cyberpunk si stories this feels just gridy enough to feel cyberpunk but not too grimdark to feel silly and contrived great comdey and overall character interactions feels fluid for the most part
Read up to chapter 60 and I can safely say that this ff is definitely worth the read. The mc is so real in his reactions when first arriving in this world. A complete nobody that woke up in a dumpster and is a little anxious on how dangerous night city is. Main character has no game system, no ai, just a small perk to id stuff and people which sounds useless but there is one more feature. He’s quite proficient in learning and is a good shot with his handgun. In his first gunfight he was quite the gunslinger and was not afraid of being shot at but was smart. He’s not a guns blazzzing type of guy, he’s smart and patient with the hand he has been dealt with. Mc eventually meets other characters from the game and soon after within the first chapters he becomes a merc with somebody to watch his back. The gun scenes are well written and keep you wanting more on how everything is going to play out. The character interactions are fluid and feel natural. The story progression is good and the writing style/structure is great. Would definitely recommend you give this ff a try, I always enjoy reading all the adventures the mc is having and slowly making his way up in the city 10/10

Do love this story. It's a very well put together story. My only issue is Mc name. Karl for Chinese guy seems off but it's whatever. Not alot of the Chinese nationalism that in most translation. Upload speed is pretty good. Always want more but I'm greedy like that. Atleast it isn't being milked like some and they do like 1 chapter a day or 1 chapter every 2 days lol looking forward to when it completed
