Arc 1: Tokyo's Void Society
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I begin to head down the long main corridor of the Void Society's bunker, passing the hundreds of rooms on both of my sides. I walk slowly and elegantly, heading towards my office.
Once I arrive at my office, I find the various printed out copies of Shiro's void readings on my desk. I pick them up and place them inside of a folder.
I suppose it's time to show my findings to the Chairmen of Tokyo.
As I think about how much these results would surprise the chairmen, I subconsciously do my signature fox-like smirk. I made sure to tell Dr Sana to print out exactly 9 copies, therefore each member of the chairmen (including myself) could have their own copy to analyze.
I put my right hand out in front of my face, the palm of my hand facing towards me. I hold my middle and ring finger together as I open up my mouth and stick out my tongue, beginning one long lick. I run my tongue up from the heel of my hand and steadily lick upwards until I reach the tips of my fingers, my eyes radiating a bright pink hue.
In a single instant my body is engulfed by a light pink colour, I disappear in an instant. After disappearing I find myself standing in a very dark room.
The dark room's lights' begin to turn on, in the middle of the black room I see a giant table with a circular face. Nine other men with black suits and tinted glasses are all spread around the table, sitting in chairs, their hands clasped together.
A man from the far end of the table began to speak with a soft dark voice.
[???: "Miss Kurokawa, we have been expecting your arrival. Have you gathered any intel on the body of hate?"]
[Yumi: "Just yesterday, I took Dr Sana into the room where the body of hate, otherwise known as Shiro Tatsuya, was resting. After fighting a Euji near a local supermarket he had been fully burnt out and put into a coma. As of now though I have sent him on his way to go and defeat a Euji that has appeared near Tokyo Tower."]
Another man goes to ask me another question.
[???: "And how is the boy? Do you think he has the capabilities to be the king?"]
After hearing that, I slightly glanced over at him and gave a very firm answer to his question.
[Yumi: "No, as of now Shiro Tatsuya has not shown any sort of power even close to Hate, the king of Euji's. He only barely survived the ordeal with the Euji known as Judgement. If it was truly the king's power, Shiro would have obliterated the Euji in one hit."]
A man, obviously upset with my response, stands up roughly, shoving his chair behind him.
[???: "Then how could this boy be the king? Are we even sure he is the king? Like you said, he didn't show any power even close to Hate."]
[Yumi: "No, I know for a fact that the energy that resonated from Shiro Tatsuya was definitely Hate. That boy is the incarnation of the Hate Euji, he wields the power of the king."]
After saying that, various voices from each chairmen erupt out loud as they all argue with one another, both positive and negative.
[???: "This is absurd! I thought the Hate Euji's power was meant to be god-like!"]
[???: "No, maybe this is a good thing. We won't have to worry about him growing strong enough to fight back."]
[???: "With the body of hate finally coming to light, I have no doubt in my mind that bounty void hunters and organisations of rogue void hunters will surely hunt down this boy!"]
I clap my hands together, maintaining my cool and composed face, with the sudden sound of my hands clapping together, all the chairmen completely stop talking and look towards me.
[Yumi: "As I said before, Dr Sana and I did reports on Shiro Tatsuya. His readings are remarkable. He has limitless potential to become a world class void hunter, but as of now, we need to test his limit. He may be weak for the time being but I swear we will turn him into a indestructible weapon for our society."]
I let out a light sigh as I began to speak with absolute confidence.
[Yumi: "With a few years of training, I have no doubt in my mind that Shiro Tatsuya could be one of the best void hunter to ever exist in Japan."]
[???: "You better be right about that, Miss Kurokawa."]
As I leave the black slick car with Akiko and the other void hunters that joined us in our expedition to Tokyo Tower to fight with Arachnophobia, Akiko shoots a serious statement towards me.
[Akiko: "Don't hold us back, Shiro."]
Now stepping onto the street, I could see that not a soul was in sight around the area we dropped in at. I could tell something dangerous was definitely afoot.
[Shiro: Something is definitely off about this place, not a soul in sight and not a sound to be heard.]
We continue walking towards Tokyo Tower, passing multiple buildings. I start to find odd discoveries as we walk.
The air is dense and foggy, I can't see 8ft in front of me. And there is a sticky like residue on the buildings and what can only be described as web sacs hang from the windows of the different structures we pass.
[Shiro: "It's awfully foggy around here don't you think?"]
[Void Hunter #1: "Don't worry, I think I can see the sun rising right now!"]
And like a miracle, the sun does start to rise clearing the foggy atmosphere, but something sinister is revealed just a couple blocks away from us.
Slowly as the sun rises, I begin to hear the thousand whispers go off in my ears. They are quite loud, almost like they're regularly talking, hinting that something catastrophic is about to go down.
There, sitting on a giant web between two buildings sits a giant spider with an overwhelming aura. When the sun hits it, its looming shadow is casted over us and the buildings that surround us.
We all stare in horror, some of the hunters grit their teeth while getting their weapons ready, while others like Akiko and I watch with curiosity.
[Shiro: That's one big fucking spider.]
