1. To pick a prey
It was another new session for Skylar Academy and students where walking to and fro searching for there partners (par), meanwhile three naughty guys stayed at the corner plotting what they do best.
"Dude, freshers,you know what that means, don't you?" Daven said as he raked his mid length jet black hair back wards.
" Yeah Ryu is certainly your turn", Xavier said with a naughty grin.
"Why not tell me something I don't know " Ryu rolled his eyes.
Him and his friends came up with this ritual , at every beginning of a new semester they are to date a girl for the whole session without falling in love,they did it for fun and also for another relevant reason.
The prince scanned the area looking for a lonely female fresher while his friends stayed behind him with a grin on their faces.
"Ryu why not go for that one, she's the only lonely female I have seen" Daven gestured towards a lone girl looking flustered as she walked slowly into the hall after being checked in.
She wore a big round glasses and a dun hat on her head, but a few strands of hair hung out, revealing her strawberry blonde hair.
"Ha! she look like she came from the 80s" Xavier chuckled
"I think that's the one you are going for"Daven sang as he gently pushed Ryu forward
"Hey not fair,you guys' were pretty" Ryu whined
They walked up to her and sent a signature smile her way.
"Hi, you looking for a par right?" Ryu asked in his most charming voice
"I don't think that's any of your business " the girl replied them not looking up.
She tried to walk out on them but Ryu stopped her still in shock,no one have ever spoken to him like that,so it kind of gave him a shock.
" May be she doesn't no who I am,I will let it slide this once" he thought
"Looks like you picked the fiesty one" Xavier told him in a language the girl could not understand.
"I picked?!, you two were the ones that picked her" he fired back in the same language they call bros language .
" It was mostly Daven..."Xavier touched his neck
"That's enough,Ryu we are gonna leave you now"Daven whispered
" Yeah, we would go find some chicks to play with "Xavier added and with that they slipped away
"Traitors"Ryu muttered under his breath
" So are you gonna leave my way or what?" The girl asked
"Am your partner and you don't need to be rude, if not you end up having boring teachers to train you "
"Fine, am sorry I was just putting up that attitude because I was worked up and besides I thought you and your friends where bullied"
"Well lucky for you am not a bully, come let's go register and take the duo oath" he smiled and she nodded
Ryu took her the registration counter and after registering, he took her and her little load to his quarters.
"I thought that was the hostel" the girl said as they passed a large long building painted in yellow and blue with a giant block later on the building wall reading HOSTEL.
" I know that but since you are my partner ,you are gonna be my room mate so am taking you to my quarters "Ryu explained.
Two stone throw away from the hostel were beautiful houses siting elegantly on a wide field .They entered the gate. The girl noticed the one they approached was the largest.
The girl frowned " why is these houses different from the hostel "
" The houses here are meant for the nobles,dukes, or even crown princes"Ryu explained with a smile.
"So what are you suppose to be a prince or a Duke's child?" She asked sensing an aura of pride.
"Am a prince, a crown prince,and you are sure lucky we met" Ryu smirked,proud of his royal identity, he opens the door to his quarters and watch her gaze upon the interior deco in admiration.
"Yeah I got good taste" he praised himself.
It wasn't at all the first time he was leading a girl into his quarters,every session after 3 months he dates a girl, dump her and bring in another the next session.The girl opened the room door and was flustered to see two beds in it.
"Uhm, so where will I be staying?" She asked, still looking around
"You can take the room by the left, it's beside my room incase you need anything" he smiled and lead her towards the room.
"Hope you like it " he asked
She was stunned by the width of the room and it was all for her, all her life she had to share with the kids at the orphanage.
" I love it, thank you " she said softly
Collecting her box from him she walked into the room with Ryu following behind her.
"Sorry it's a little dusty and all my dad wouldn't let me have a maid" he said
" There's no problem, I can handle it "
"You never really told me your name" Ryu tried to continue the conversation since the atmosphere was already getting awkward.
She smiled and gave him her registration slip " my name is Arya "
"Ok you don't really like to interact,got that" he said and started reading it,he finally raised his head up, his eyes looked calmer.
