"You came from the orphanage" he asked

" Yes, ,it was when they realized I got magical powers they sent me here, the children at the orphanage take me for a freak " She said not looking up from what she was doing.

"But I don't care anyways" She added .Ryu looked at her, noticing the hurt in her eyes but didn't say anything about it.

" Am Ryu,you are Arya let's try to get along,am not like the other kids from your orphanage so I will treat you well, prince's word" he told her.

Arya stayed silent for a moment,

"What's the point of trying to be self conserve Arya,we said we were going to to make new friends and enjoy life to the fullest,this the beginning of a new life" her consciousness told her,she let out a long sigh and turned to him.

"Then we are friends, right?"

"Right "Ryu grinned

"So that means I can do this " she stood up and removed the sun hat she was wearing and the big round transparent glasses.

Ryu scanned the girl in front of him she was cute,she has a huge glassy ice blue eyes which makes her look like a doll,her lips was thin and rosy red and it sat modestly on her generic face,his eyes moved on to her chest ,she hard two medium sized boobs that he could compare to two fully grown peaches,he smirked at the thought,though he had seen boobs larger than hers,but hers was a perfect fit for her slender body, the most distinguished thing that stood out was her platinum blonde hair, it was unlike any color he has seen and was mesmerised by the slick shining hair.In other words she looked like she had just jumped out from a fairy tale.

"You look more pretty this way" he complimented.

"Hmm,t-thanks… you aren't weird out by the colour of my hair?"she asked,her face flushing a little,this didn't miss Ryu's gaze.

"Huh?,No way, it's very pretty and unique I like it. No one ever told you,you are beautiful?" He asked but she didn't reply.

Ryu smiled seeing that she was flustered,so he decided to change topic.

"Would you like to eat any thing?" He asked

"No, am good with this cheese burger , thank you" she said bringing it out from the paper bag.

" Ok then,just to remind you, freshers are having a meeting this night and a ball tomorrow "

"Oh!"she sighed with her head down.

" What's wrong?"

"I wouldn't be able to go the ball"she answered and took a bite from her burger.

"and why's that?"

" The ball is all fancy and stuff, and fancy clothes,I don't have that,I don't even know how to dance"

Ryu smiled " don't worry about the dance,I will teach you and dresses,the academy mall is filled with them we would go there tomorrow "

" You will do that for me?"

"Sure,what are friends for" he said and she smiled for the first time

Later that evening Daven and Xavier went to meet up with Ryu.

"So what's up"Daven asked immediately he saw Ryu.Ryu smirked

"She's not that bad,an orphan from the country side and she is 17 " Ryu explained tossing the file to his friends as the headmaster made a speech to the freshers.

"Hey Ryu, Misha's coming" Xavier announced.Misha was the king daughter of the neighboring kingdom and since their fathers were both allies,she always bugs him hoping they will do be the same.

"Hi Ryu, missed me?" She said and curtseid to Daven and Xavier who bowed in reply and stepped away.

"What do you want Misha?"Ryu said curtly.

"I just came to say hi, is that bad?, I actually noticed you've been trying to avoid me lately "

"I wasn't trying,I was avoiding you"

"Huh?,fine I understand you have work going on,I will let it pass....."

"I mean it Misha,you are pestering me,if you don't mind am going to meet my par" he bowed slightly and walked away, leaving the girl shocked.

Ryu searched among the hord for Arya ,his roaming about caught him a lot of attention from mostly girls.He smirked inwardly, knowing that the people watching knows about his reputation, well some but all knows about his breathtaking features.Soon the headmaster finished giving the instructions and welcoming speech and the hord started to move ,the girls stealing glances and giggling.He ruffled his hair when he couldn't find Arya,he decided to look out side.It was already dark but luckily for him he could see in the dark having the ability to weild fire. Finally he saw her near the tall white mermaid fountain , she was trying to weild the water with all concentration but after managing to bring a bubble of water ,she lost control and it turned into ice and fell on the ground shattering into many pieces, he watch her try a few more times but she did the same mistake and she tightened her fist in annoyance then let out a sigh of faustration.

"Don't stress out, am impressed by your your efforts" he finally said and started towards her.

Arya looked towards the direction the voice have come from to see Ryu which is silky white hair, he's bright sapphire eyes and he's perfect smile that could melt any girl's heart but not hers.

"Oh, sorry I didn't see you there" she went to him.

" You must have been looking around for me, sorry" she apologized again.

" No need for apologies, you are worth the stress" he said with a wink. Arya chuckled softly at his effort to flirt.

" let's go back you must be tired, we have a big day to prepare for tomorrow" he said and led her towards their quarters.
