Chapter 17

Just a few days have passed and everything has turned upside down. Amanda finally packed up and moved to Quentin's villa.

"Once you become someone's wife, you must understand how to be a wife. The most important thing in marriage is trust and confidence. When men are out and about, you have to help support the family."

Amanda went first and was busy. Busily packing luggage to take downstairs, while Milena followed behind, constantly chattering instructions.

"Also, Quentin is no longer young and quickly got married and gave birth to a child.

If you don't know how to take care of it, just send it here to your mother! "

"Mom!"

Amanda couldn't bear it anymore and turned to glare at her.

"What? If you say something good or right, I'll still glare at you!"

Amanda finished speaking and walked out to complain to Kevin, who was pretending to be deaf and reading the newspaper.

"Dad, take care of your wife!"

Kevin nodded lightly. First, he turned to another page of the newspaper and replied:

"I can't manage it."

"Dad!"

Amanda cried out, dissatisfied, but couldn't move him. Milena walked up behind her and continued to nag.

"If you don't properly instruct me with this temperament, if you marry me, you'll be afraid of dad."

Amanda pouted, knowing that no one in the house could defend her, so she could only quietly go and collect her things.

Diego also sat there for a moment, seeing his sister feeling discouraged. He couldn't help but laugh softly, feeling sorry for her and said:

"Mom! If you taught her, wouldn't the next Mrs. Solis appear?"

Milena knew her son meant to tease her, so she threw him a warning look.

"You brat, I haven't considered you yet."

Diego suddenly fell silent, because these past few days she had been "torturing" him to bring her daughter-in-law back to her.

"It's so early in the morning and our house is so bustling?"

Outside the door, Quentin walked in smiling and placed several large and small gift bags.

"What's the matter, just instructing Amanda about a few things."

Milena smiled and welcomed Quentin into the house.

"Quickly take this stubborn girl away so I can be free of debt."

Quentin smiled and replied:

"Yes ma'am."

"What did you just call me?"

Milena pretended to be unhappy and glanced at him. Quentin smiled even deeper and called out in a deeper voice.

"Yes, mother."

"Haha good."

Amanda sighed and looked at her mother and Quentin.

Getting in the car to leave Solis' family, Amanda looked at the person leisurely sitting next to him and asked curiously:

"Did you have a lot of free time as a director at the beginning of this year?"

The corner of Quentin's lips twitched.

"I'll be home in the morning with you."

God knows he has only slept for 8 hours these past few days just to arrange their quick wedding.

Amanda didn't say anything. She lowered her head to read the filming schedule email that Vance Walters had just sent her.

The car became silent for a moment, reading emails until she lost track of time. When she raised her head again to see the scene outside, her whole body suddenly stiffened.

The car pulled into a large villa. From afar one could see the familiar luxurious and sophisticated architecture.

The car stopped, Quentin got out first, walked to the door on that side, opened it and reached out to Amanda.

"We're here, let's go inside."

Amanda took a deep breath, trying to suppress the hatred in her heart, reaching out to hold Quentin's hand and entering the house.

The inside was not the same as in her memory. It was extremely luxurious and splendid, but on the contrary, it had a very cozy and simple feeling.

But before Amanda could breathe a sigh of relief, Quentin happily grabbed her hand and pulled her to the back of the villa.

It was truly fun. For the first time she clearly saw the joy in Quentin's eyes, but this time she probably had to apologize to him.

Because the scene before her eyes made her brain explode, distant memories rushed back, making her unable to breathe, pain and hatred took over her whole body.

Quentin looked at a large rose garden, his eyes were happy and contained a bit of gentleness, and said:

"I heard you like roses!"

As soon as he turned to Quentin, he realized that Amanda was in an extremely bad mood. Because even the small hand he was holding was trembling slightly.

"Don't you like it?"

The smile in Quentin's eyes faded, he slightly lowered his eyes and said:

"If you don't like it, I'll have someone pluck it all out."

"Then pull it out.

"Amanda withdrew her hand and did not pay attention to Quentin's facial change at that moment. She turned around and went straight into the house.

Tears could not help but flow for a moment, Amanda clenched her teeth trying to hold back tears.

Why? The house she lived in with Javier Harris in her previous life is the same house she has to live with Quentin Harris in this life?

Why? Quentin, just like Javier, also brought a rose garden. The beautiful gift given to her on her first day home?

Why did everything coincide so much that she couldn't accept it?

Looking at her cold back as she left, Quentin tilted his head, sighed and took a deep breath. It's not that you don't like roses, it's that you don't like the person who gave them to you.

Butler Wayne was brought here by Mr. Harris to take care of the newlywed couple. Looking at this scene, he couldn't help but come to peace. "Don't be sad. She must be upset about something."

Quentin closed his eyes and smiled bitterly, saying:

"Let someone come and pull it all out."

Butler Wayne was startled and shouted:

"But young master!"

That's because you've been cultivating your own hands these past few years to have so many flowers!

Quentin once again opened his eyes and his expression returned to the silent, unhappy and sad appearance as before, coldly interrupting butler Wayne's words.

"If Mandy doesn't like it, then spit it out."

Butler Wayne knew he couldn't advise him, so he just sighed and replied:

"Yes, master".
