Sleep Talking Is Dangerous

The dorm room was quiet, save for the rhythmic hum of the mini-fridge and the soft sound of two people breathing in sync.

Kikidori and Ere'ana, as always, were sharing a bed—not because they *had* to, but because at this point, it was just second nature. They'd been doing it since they were kids. It was never weird, never awkward. Just comfortable.

Kikidori was knocked *out*, lying on his back, one arm sprawled over his face. Meanwhile, Ere'ana was curled up on her side, facing him, tangled in the blankets like some kind of sleep demon.

Everything was peaceful.

Until Ere'ana started *talking.*

"Mm… Kiki…" she mumbled, voice groggy and barely audible.

Kikidori's eye twitched, but he was still mostly asleep. He grunted in response, shifting slightly.

Ere'ana kept going.

"Mm… don't stop…"

Kikidori's eyes *snapped open.*

What. The. *Fuck.*

He lay there, *completely* still, suddenly wide awake. Maybe he imagined that. Maybe she was just saying random shit. Yeah, that had to be it.

But then—

"That feels… so good…" Ere'ana murmured, a sleepy little sigh escaping her lips.

Kikidori shot up *so fast* he nearly flung himself off the bed. "*EXCUSE ME?!*"

Ere'ana didn't react. She was still *dead asleep.*

Kikidori stared at her in absolute *horror.* This was not happening. This was NOT FUCKING HAPPENING.

Ere'ana shifted, a small, content smile on her face. "Kiki~…"

Kikidori flung the blanket off of him like it was *tainted* and jumped out of bed. "*NOPE. I'M DONE. I'M FUCKING DONE.*"

Ere'ana groaned at the sudden lack of warmth, cracking open one sleepy eye. "Mmm… what's your problem…?"

Kikidori turned on her so fast he almost tripped. "MY PROBLEM?! MY PROBLEM, ERE'ANA, IS THAT YOU WERE JUST SLEEP-TALKING SOME *REAL* SUS SHIT."

Ere'ana blinked, still half-asleep. "Huh…?"

Kikidori pointed an accusing finger. "*You*—" he paused, swallowing hard. "You said some… *things.*"

Ere'ana yawned, rubbing her eyes. "What kinda things…?"

Kikidori's face went blank. He absolutely *was not* repeating that. "…Nothing. Forget it."

Ere'ana stretched, completely unbothered. "Damn, you're really freaking out. What, I say I wanted to kick your ass or something?"

Kikidori's eye twitched. "*I WISH.*"

Ere'ana looked up at him, confused. "Then what—" She suddenly froze. Blinked. Then her eyes *widened.*

"Oh *shit.*"

Kikidori crossed his arms. "Oh, *shit* is right."

Ere'ana slowly sat up, covering her mouth in realization. "Oh my god… what did I say?"

Kikidori turned *away* from her, staring at the wall like it held all the answers to life. "We are *never* talking about this."

Ere'ana immediately scrambled closer, grabbing his sleeve. "Oh no, no, no, I *need* to know. What did I say?!"

Kikidori shook his head aggressively. "I AM NOT REPEATING IT."

Ere'ana groaned. "Come on, was it *that* bad?"

Kikidori turned back, looking her *dead* in the eyes. "You were *moaning my name, Ere'ana.*"

Silence.

Ere'ana blinked once.

Twice.

Then, suddenly—

She fucking *screamed.*

"*WHAT THE FUCK?!*"

"*THAT'S WHAT I SAID!*" Kikidori yelled back.

Ere'ana grabbed the nearest pillow and *smashed* it over her own face. "NOOOOOO."

Kikidori ran his hands through his hair, pacing the room like he was trying to *walk away* from what had just happened. "I CAN'T FUCKING UNHEAR IT, ERE'ANA. THAT SHIT IS BURNED INTO MY SOUL."

Ere'ana fell back onto the bed, *dying* of embarrassment. "I WANNA CRAWL INTO A HOLE AND DIE."

Kikidori stopped pacing and pointed at her aggressively. "GOOD. TAKE ME WITH YOU."

Ere'ana groaned into the pillow. "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god—"

Kikidori sighed deeply, dragging a hand down his face. "I need to bleach my *brain.*"

Ere'ana peeked out from under the pillow, face *bright* red. "I—I didn't mean it! I don't even remember it!"

"*I DO!*"

Ere'ana groaned louder. "FUUUUUUCK."

Kikidori shook his head. "This is it. This is how I die."

Ere'ana sat up, pointing at him with a desperate look. "W-We can just pretend this never happened, right?"

Kikidori exhaled through his nose. "Oh, *trust me,* I would *love* to forget this."

Ere'ana pressed her hands together. "Then let's make a pact. A blood oath. A secret so deep we take it to the grave."

Kikidori sighed. "Yeah. Deal."

Silence.

Then Ere'ana frowned. "Wait… what *exactly* was I dreaming about?"

Kikidori *threw his shoe* at her. "GO BACK TO FUCKING SLEEP."
