As night's veil lifted, the sky transformed into a mix of pinks and oranges, signaling the sun's gentle rise. For Mia, the chill in the air was unbearable. "Ang lamig aba..." She complained, feeling uncomfortable.
"Sa tingin niyo, makakatakas ba tayo dito?" Mariella asked, her tone laced with concern.
Marc shook his head. "Di natin alam, pero kailangan nating tumuloy. Hindi tayo pwedeng magtagal dito." Mariella nodded in agreement.
"Oo nga! and kailangan natin ng pagkain tsaka tubig, gutom na ko ih!" Mia exclaimed.
As they began to leave, the landscape shifted from grassy plains to rocky terrain.
All of a sudden, Mariella paused, looking at something in the distance. "Hoy, tignan niyo!" She said, pointing to the return gate.
Mia quickly sprinted towards the exit without any hesitation, disappearing through the gate. Marc and Mariella soon followed.
...
The siblings opened their eyes, the surroundings were familiar, they have gone back.
"Ma!" Mia yelled, their mom rushed outside, a worried look on her face.
"Oh? Saan kayo nagpunta? Isang araw na kayo nawawala.."
"Ah... may pinuntahan lang kami." Marc gave a vague explanation, their mom didn't want to pressure them so she didn't ask anymore details.
Hours passed, and the siblings did their usual routine, pretending like the experience didn't affect them deeply. As they settled into their room, Marc suggested. "Hoy, punta tayo sa Jollibee. Libre mo kami, Mia ah."
Mia pouted, and she reluctantly agreed.
The siblings headed out, deciding to take a tricycle to their destination.
The siblings finally reached their destination. A few minutes later, Marc ordered and paid with Mia's cash while the other two found a table that they can seat in.
Marc came back and took a seat.
"Kuya, nag order ka ng fries ha?" Mia asked.
"Oo nga, kakasabi niya lang kanina kung ano gusto niya ah..." Marc sighed, Mia playfully raised her other eyebrow.
Their meal arrived, and they savored the familiar flavors from the meal, the tension from their earlier adventure disappearing.
But the happiness didn't last long, the familiar earthquake happened again, the lights began to flicker.
"Anong nangyayari?" A nearby family asked, concerned. Inside the restaurant, smoke began to circulate around the place, the wall glass started to shatter.
Fortunately, the siblings were not near to the shattered glass, making them unharmed from the damage.
Marc closed his eyes, coughing because of the smoke that circulated the restaurant.
"Cough… labas kaya tayo..!" Mia had a strange feeling that outside will have a surprise on them, preferably the whole world.
"Oo nga… baka mas safe sa labas!" Mariella acknowledged, the two sisters quickly helped their older brother to come outside of the restaurant.
As they stood outside, what came before them wasn't what they expected. "HA?! GATE NANAMAN!?" Mariella exclaimed, Mia calmed her older sister down.
It was a gate infront of them but it wasn't a normal one, monsters were coming out of them especially zombies.
"Yuck! ang pangit ng zombies… hindi katulad nung kanina.." Mia whispered, hiding behind Marc.
The siblings slowly started to look for something sharp and able to pierce through the zombie's heart.
"Eto oh! stick na medyo thick tapos sharp!" Mia said, making the other two look at the sticks. There were five sticks, and the siblings grabbed three.
Marc inhaled and exhaled, getting ready to fight the zombies that they had avoided last time.
The siblings exchanged a determined glance. Without a word, they sprinted infront of the zombies, each wielding a sturdy stick.
Marc swung his stick to the zombies, using his telportation to avoid the zombie's strike.
Mia jabbed her stick into the zombie's chests, using her quick reflexes and training to avoid their grasping hands. Meanwhile, Mariella, swung her stick at the creatures' legs, tripping them up and sending them tumbling.
Minutes passed and the siblings didn't realize that the unharmed people inside the restaurant was recording them while also helping the injured people.
"Mama! ang galing nila makipaglaban!" A child whispered, his sparkling eyes continued to watch the fight.
An influencer catched it on live, making other people all around the world insane by the appearance of random gates and monsters.
"What's that?"
"That looks dangerous… hope that they are safe!"
"Sending hugs! i hope emergency will come soon!"
"Sana safe po ung mga tao jan! sending hugs po.."
"Ang galing nila makipaglaban!"
The comments were full of people who's shocked and wishes for the safety of the people near the restaurant.
A few minutes later… The live video soon reached the news, other people believed that it's fake news but there's so many proof that the monsters existed because of the gate's and the monsters' appearance all over the world.
In another country… Seoul, South korea.
A young man who's thirteen years old along with his parents' and younger sister watched the news.

The camera slowly comes closer to the three people, almost seeing their faces but the influencer blocked it for privacy. The shortest of the three looked back, the live video revealing her face to the public, making Ahyun's heart skip a beat.
"Love at first sight… is that it? ugh… the moment i laid my eyes on her even without seeing her face or meeting her.. my heart.." Ahyun quickly admired her, he didn't believe in love at first sight but… that's all in the past.
Han ahyun was completely mesmerized, he's going to do everything to meet her in the future. Ahyun now decided that he wants to be her friend.
Meanwhile, his younger sister was side-eyeing him.
