Chapter 2

They slowly opened their eyes, taking in their surroundings. Mia, feeling dizzy, leaned on her older brother's shoulder.

Mark pushed her away, noticing her frailty. she had an obvious low tolerance to teleportation.

"Ano to?" Marielle mumbled, their gazes fell upon a translucent square frame infront of them.

Mia's eyes sparkled. "Woah!! ang galing no?" Mark looked at her with confusion.

Noticing the confusion, she calmed down."So... this translucent square thingy will show your rank badge and some things that you see there!" She quickly explained. "Uhm, it's also called the status window... you guys get it?"

"Puro ka english ng english." Marielle said while looking at the square frame called 'Status system'

Mark looked at status system, his eyes moved to the rank badge. "Ano yung S rank?" He asked out of confusion.

"S rank is probably the most powerful out of the 7 ranks!" She explained, "Wait... nakuha ninyo rin ba yun?"

The other two looked at eachother, nodding at the question.

"Oh! i also have it, we're going to have a great time then!" She looked with sparkling eyes while her siblings looked at her like someone looking at a maniac.

Mia was definitely the most crazy sibling out of all of them.

"Lika na nga, puro mga baliw kapatid ko.." Marielle mumbled. "Hoy! hindi kaya ako baliw!"

.....

"May weapon kayo?" Mia asked.

"Wala." Marc replied.

Meanwhile, Mariella was looking around the suspicious cave until she found something that she can't figure out.

"Wait lang... ano yun?" She mumbled, the other two quickly looked at the direction, eyes full of fear.

A hoard of zombies can be seen from the other side of the cave, Rotting flesh and countless undead bodies packed up tightly together scared the siblings.

"Ano gagawin natin!?" Mia exclaimed, she hurriedly held hands with her siblings.

"Edi tatakbo! ano pa ba!?" Marc shouted, they immediately ran to the other side of the cave.

All of a sudden, a rumbling can be heard.. the cave is going to collapse! the siblings yelped, Mariella fell but Marc quickly helped her to get up.

As the rumbling grew louder, the ground began to shake and the walls started to crumble.

Rocks fell from the ceiling, the siblings got slightly injured but it was nothing compared to the cave starting to collapse. Marc tightly grabbed their hands and they sprinted towards the cave's exit... but Mariella quickly realized that the exit was blocked by a massive boulder, now there was no way for them to survive the collapsing cave as time was ticking.

They were running out of time and the oldest tried to think on what to do, panic set in as they frantically looked for an alternative exit. The rumbling grew louder and the walls were now collapsing in on them.

The siblings found a narrow crevice, barely large enough for them to fit through but without hesitation, they crawled through the crevice, their hearts racing as they crawled through and the cave continues to crumble behind them.

As Marc breathes heavily, he realized they were trapped into an even tighter spot, it was a dead end without any visible exit.

"Shit…"

They were surrounded by complete darkness, the only sound was their heavy breaths and the faint rumbling of the cave.

Their situation seemed hopeless to others but the siblings remained determined to survive and get out of this crumbling cave.

Marc searched desperately for any way to come out of the cave, his hands feeling the walls for any opening whatsoever.

Just when he thought all hope was lost, his hand hit something metallic. He pulled on it and a small door swung open, a hidden exit was revealed.

"Ha…" Mia breaths heavily, finally having the time to breath.

As they go out, Mariells's eyes widened, a group of zombies was infront of them. Thankfully, it was just 4 zombies to take care of.

"Hindi ba tayo makaka pagpahinga?" Marc exclaimed, they were now on a random desert.

Marc found an update through his Status window, a skill was added.

[Telportation skill C-Rank: Blink]

Skill Description:

Instantly teleport a short distance, reappearing at a targeted location, can bring a group with you by holding hands.

Seeing this, he quickly activated his skill and they teleported far but also near the zombies.

"Woah! meron kanang skill!?" Mia exclaimed.

"Oo, sainyo? nag kakuha ba kayo?"

Mariella checked her Status window.

[Illusion Skill C-Rank: Deceive]

Skill Description:

Create a minor illusion, making it difficult for enemies to track the user's movements, it can last to 10-15 seconds and the available range is 10 meters.

"Hmh, magiging useful din yan.." She mumbled.

"Oo nga, ikaw naman Mia, ano sayo?" He asked. "Wait lang! ch-check ko pa." She added.

[Stealth Skill C-Rank: Hide]

Skill Description:

Becomes temporarily invisible, making it difficult for enemies to detect the user. Tightly grip other's shoulder to also make them invisible, the duration is 10-15 seconds and the cooldown is 20 seconds.

"Ah, useful din to para ma-finish natin ung dungeon." Mia whispered.

Mariella turned around to look at the zombies, they can't seem to find the siblings and that was fortunate as they needed time to breath.

"Pahinga muna tayo…" She said to the other two.

Marc set up a campfire with the pieces of woods they found when they walked all the way where they can see grass.

The sky was now dark, stars can be seen from afar.

Mariella was guarded, not assured that the zombies will not come to them meanwhile Mia slept heavily.
