Chapter 64: The Battle of Strategy!

The momentum of

battle shifted as the mysterious enemy lunged at Senjuro.

Senjuro reacted

quickly, dashing left to avoid the initial attack. He

attempted to counter with a precise strike, but the man anticipated his

move, expertly dodging. With swift precision, the enemy grabbed

Senjuro's wrist, twisted it, and delivered a brutal kick to his ribs.

Senjuro staggered

back, gasping for breath. Before the enemy could follow up, a

gunshot rang out.

Kyrin, standing firm,

had fired his Desert Eagle. The bullet whizzed through

the air, forcing the enemy to shift his stance. That split-second

distraction was enough to save Senjuro.

But there was no time to

celebrate.

Hiroshi and Akio charged

at the enemy, their weapons radiating with Halcyon Raven Flux. Hiroshi's massive

battle axe cut through the air, while Akio's razor-sharp claws slashed

at the enemy's exposed side.

Yet, in a shocking

display of strength, the enemy stopped both attacks with a single hand.

With an effortless

push, he sent Hiroshi and Akio flying backward.

Akira's eyes

narrowed. "That was Hiroshi's battle axe and Akio's claws. Those two

weapons are among the most powerful infused with Halcyon Raven Flux. If

he stopped them like that, he's a deadly threat."

Kyrin, reloading his gun,

nodded. "I knew that the moment he countered Senjuro's dash attack. Not

even Veyvron Sensei was able to dodge that."

Senjuro, now back on his

feet, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. "I've got a plan."

Kyrin turned to him. "What

is it?"

Senjuro quickly pulled out

two sleek Crystal S7 Rifles from a hidden case and tossed them to Kaito

and Taro.

Kaito caught his and

frowned. "Why do we need these?"

Senjuro smirked. "Simple.

We're going to overwhelm him. You, me, Taro, and Kyrin will attack from a

distance, while Akira, Akio, and Hiroshi engage in close combat."

Akira adjusted his gloves,

eyes burning with determination. "Got it, Senjuro."

They all took

their positions.

The battlefield was alive

with energy as Senjuro and Kyrin took their positions.

Senjuro gripped his Aetherstorm

Sentinel Rifle, its sleek barrel glowing with the power of Lumin

Emberlight Flux. The rifle crackled with energy, designed

for high-speed, precision shots.

Kyrin, standing opposite

him, wielded his Crimson Cyclone Rifle, infused with Solarflare

Ember Flux. The rifle's unique power ignited upon impact,

burning through any defenses.

Akira took a deep breath

and split his bow into two razor-sharp backhand daggers. He

spun them effortlessly, ready for close combat.

Kaito and Taro positioned

themselves at 3 and 9 o'clock, completing a coordinated

strike formation. Meanwhile, Akira, Akio, and Hiroshi formed

a tight triangular assault unit, keeping the enemy engaged.

The fight resumed.

Akira, Akio, and Hiroshi

moved with synchronized precision.

Akira struck low, attempting

to slash the enemy's legs, while Akio went for a high-speed claw

strike. Hiroshi swung his battle axe, aiming to land a

devastating blow.

The enemy, however, moved

like a shadow.

Every attack was dodged

with perfect timing, every strike redirected with minimal

effort. His movements caught Senjuro's eye.

"This guy…" Senjuro

narrowed his eyes. "He's reading our attacks in advance."

At the same time, Akira

was analyzing the battle.

His mind pieced everything

together.

"Senjuro's rifle is

powered by Lumin Emberlight Flux… That means if a bullet lands, it'll create an

opening for the others and him to strike at a rapid pace."

"Kyrin's rifle is

powered by Solarflare Ember Flux… That can ignite and burn through the enemy's

defenses, forcing him to react."

"Kaito and Taro's

rifles are infused with Cyrex Snow Flux… If they land a hit, they can

immobilize the target's energy system, creating a perfect opening."

"The close combat

battle is a distraction. The real strategy is to land a single shot. Once we

do, the battle will turn in our favor."

He whispered under his

breath, "Senjuro… You're a genius. Thinking of a plan in the middle of

a fight like this… It's inhuman."

Minutes passed in the

heated battle.

Senjuro carefully observed

the enemy's movements.

Then, he saw it.

slight delay in

the enemy's dodge.

small opening.

"Retreat!" Senjuro

commanded.

Everyone broke

formation and regrouped.

They had the information

they needed.

The next attack

would decide the battle.

As the dust settled,

Senjuro looked at his team and nodded. "Well done, everyone."

Akira wiped the sweat from

his brow. "Yeah, but Kyrin… you understood Senjuro's plan, right?"

Kyrin smirked. "Of

course. It took me a second, but I got it."

Senjuro crossed his arms.

"Good, because I've noticed something strange. His physical abilities…

they're almost like a ninja. Someone like Syvian."

Hiroshi frowned. "You

think he copied them?"

Kyrin shook his head. "Copying

a ninja's physical abilities? That's near impossible."

Senjuro exhaled sharply. "Which

means this guy is either trained at an extreme level or something far worse.

Either way, we don't give him a chance to recover. We shift to melee combat and

strike consecutively. I'll land the final blow."

Everyone nodded in

agreement.

Senjuro took out his Celestine

Aurum Scythe, its blade shimmering with the power of Hypernova

Shine Flux.

Kyrin followed suit,

wielding his Platinum Chroma Scythe, infused with Celestine

Argent Flux.

Taro and Kaito switched to

their Crystal Cyrex Blades, their edges gleaming under the dim

light.

Akira, Akio, and

Hiroshi enhanced their weapons, their auras radiating raw

power.

The battle resumed.

Hiroshi charged

first, swinging his massive battle axe in a deadly arc.

The enemy barely dodged, but Hiroshi's strength forced him to stumble.

Akio rushed in

next, his claws tearing through the enemy's defenses. Each swipe

disrupted the enemy's flow, forcing him on the back foot.

Akira moved with

precision, slicing through the man's hidden weapons and secret

equipment, leaving him with nothing but his own skill.

Taro and Kaito coordinated

flawlessly, striking in sync and immobilizing the enemy. Their

Cyrex Snow Flux froze key energy points, creating multiple weak spots.

Kyrin saw the

opportunity and didn't hesitate. He lunged forward, his

Platinum Chroma Scythe piercing through the weak points, leaving

the enemy in a critical state.

Senjuro's eyes locked

onto the opening.

In an instant, he dashed

forward, his scythe charged with the purest form of Hypernova Shine

Flux.

His movements were swift

and precise. He struck once—a clean, powerful slash—then again,

moving faster than the eye could track.

The final diagonal

cut ripped through the enemy's body, forming a massive glowing

line.

The man staggered

but attempted a counterattack.

Senjuro was faster.

He tossed his

scythe into the air.

The weapon spun

rapidly, reflecting light in a golden spiral.

Senjuro stepped

back, calculating the perfect moment.

As the scythe descended,

he caught it mid-air and slashed once more—forming a

massive X-shaped cut.

The enemy froze.

The entire team stood

still; their eyes locked on what had happened next
