Tin & Hailey

A few months later:

Life as a walking ghost was far easier than I thought. Unlike human beings, I didn't have chores to handle. I didn't have homeworks, dishes to wash, laundry to do, beds to make etc.

What was I expecting? I would have homework and wash dishes even after my death? How ridiculous could I be?

Things about me where different too. I could do things people can never imagine. Mortal people would commonly call it as Magic. But here I am, a lost spirit having the ability to do such things when people cannot even see them.

Teleporting, telekinisis, telepathy where my major works. I could talk to animals and that reminds me of my horrible encounter I have literally everyday.

Having Tin Tin, Victor's dog and Heathens official dog, barking to me to get out everyday.

Surely, he doesn't knows why I always stay there. I have to keep my promise.

"Hey Jules, can you come with me to the lounge downstairs, Sov said to meet him there. Can you come along?" Asked Noah.

I sat on the couch across Heli, Justin sitting beside me. Jules nodded and headed downstairs. A while later, I followed them too.

Sov was Heathens manager. When we reached there, I found Sov already present. Noah and Jules bowed in greetings and took their seats. I sat on the other side, away from the group.

"How is the practice going on?" Sejin asked.

"It's going good. We will be done in a day or two. We just have to wait until Hailey arrives. And with that, we will be done." Jules answered, sipping his Americano.

"Oh I forgot to mention. We arranged a meeting today with Hailey. She is currently in LA and we decided to call her here. She will be coming over on the evening and will discuss about the comeback. I had your scedules emptied for today, so you will be free to meet her."

The two young boys nodded, unable to hide their excitement.

Hailey, the rising star of the music industry, would be coming over! What a miracle! I am finally getting to meet her!

Heathens were busy with their tour as it was, and they were also preparing for their new comeback, their new album, People. And the biggest highlight of this album was, it was featured by Hailey. It would be the biggest hit of this year and fans will be going crazy like zombies.

The boys had been practising for days and weeks now, never stopping. At times they would get so tired that they could barely move and I would just heal their sore backs and all would be well again.

Sometimes their boss, Mr. Albright, would praise them saying how energetic they have been lately, never getting tired and all. He said that it would help them a lot with their upcoming comeback. Sometimes the boys would be a little confused themselves, how they never seem to get tired.

After a few more hours of discussion, Noah and Jules took their leave. I followed them out of the lounge area. Once outside, the boys broke into a run, and so did I.

When they were finally in their own domain, they shared the news with their other brothers. The news was like wild fire to them. They were so excited! Of course they would be. How long has it been since they last saw her? Quiet a long time indeed.

I sat and watched as the members begin to move around in a frenzy. Suddenly, a growling noise appeared from my right side. I turned to look at the intruder and there he was, sitting and growling at me with his tiny mouth.

"What now Tin?" I sighed in frustration.

For a long time, he didn't say nothing but just growled. A while later, Victor came and saw the commotion.

"What is it Tin Tin? What do you see?" But dear Tin Tin was too focused to reply.

"Go on. Reply. Your master's asking you something." I smirked in victory. Tin Tin just kept growling.

It was clear, Tin and I would never be in good terms. While we were both in the same shoes here, he couldn't bear the fact that there was someone else, who liked his master as much as he did.

Victor scratched his neck to get his attention. Tin, however just stared at me. More like glared.

"I will be going now. See you later Tin." And with that, I teleported myself to their practise room where Jules was practising their upcoming song alone.

'He's great as always." I told myself.

Jules moved his body around in flexible moves. One might think his body would shatter into bones any second with the dance he was doing. But that wouldn't happen. It was Jules, the ballerina, we were discussing.

I watched as he moved from one place to another. As time passed , his movements started increasing speed as if he was doing it on pupose. As if he was frustrated at his low danciong skill, which was totally an absurd thought.

"Jules, calm down." I murmured but he didn't listen. In time his body moved in such speed, it could really shatter. I tried calming him down, but he just wouldn't listen.

Suddenly, Jules slipped over his own foot, which I expected would happen and came crashing to the floor.

But not before I took hold of him. Jules was still counting on his last seconds, because of which he did not realize that he was suspended in mid air. Just when the realization was about to cross him, I lay him down flat across the floor.

Slowly, he opened his shut eyes. He looked around to see where he had landed. Then he checked if he was hurt. Realizing that he was just fine, Jimin frowned. "That's strange. The fall was quiet huge. I would not have escaped without a scar."

I sighed in boredom. "That's because you have me, Jules."

Jules was still confused. "Odd. I have been through a lot of luck lately. So were the others. What does this mean?"

"It means you guys have a guardian watching over you all."

Quietly, Jules left the room. A while later, I did too.

-------

Early in the evening:

"Why isn't she still here?" Asked a very frustrated Noah as he pased the room, annoying the members who were seated on the couch, some just looking around, while other's going through their phones.

"Calm down, Noah. She will be here." Said Jake in annoyance. Noah yet protested. "She was supposed to be here two minutes earlier. What's making her this late?"

"This late? This late? Hey! It's just two minutes! Why are you acting so odd, Noah? It's so not like you! Do you have a crush on her or something?"

Noah stopped pacing and turned towards Jake, his expression straight. "And why would you say that?"

"It's just, you act so differently when she's around." I stifled my laugh. Jake was hillarious.

"Just because I care for people more than you do, doesn't mean I have a crush on them."

The member's stifled their laugh too.

"Whatever."

"Seriously, where the hell is she?" Noah whined, but his whining stopped just as they started when he heared a familiar voice.

"Hey guys! Long time no see. How have you guys been?"

Standing right there in their door step was none other than Hailey herself.
