"Alright, so when I go like THIS, you go like THAT. Understood?" Demonstrated Heli, who was having a hard time explaining Noah the moves. He had been rehearsing that same move for weeks now and he was still progressing. Keyword: progressing.
On the other side, Justin was busy explaining Jake who only laughed at everything Justin showed him. Victor scrolled through his phone. Steve dosed off. Mean while, Jules was nowhere to be seen. Twenty minutes until they get to the stage, and Jules was nowhere to be found. The boy's werent aware of it. I walked out of the room to look for Jules and there he was, busting his ass off practicing again. I sighed.
That explains it. Why you are nowhere to be found.
I walked a few steps closer and took a look at his sweaty face. He was exhausted to the point as if he would have a fit. His face was blood red and his cheeks were hollow. He had been skipping his meals lately.
What do I do?
"Jules, you need to slow down." I said, patting his shoulder. Jules slowed but his face remained the same. Something didn't feel right. I was sure of it. However, I still let Jules go to stage that day.
The fans chanted their names, screams erupted from all sides, DEvil lightsticks lighted all around. The stadium was filled with liveliness. And then, they appeared. They appeared like fallen angels from the sky.
Like the rest of the security guards, I took my position to protect them. Their I stood, watching all the fans go crazy over seven god like boys who ignited the stadium in fire. My back turned towards them, all I could here was the song and all I could see was the fans.
And that was the biggest mistake I did since the day I died.
Their sonf Blood, was almost to the end. The four vocals where on the last hook when one line went unsung. But soon, it was filled up by Justin's voice, although I don't remember the line to be his.
What's going on?
Just when everyone thought the performance would end successfully, we went bankrupt.
Screams of surprise erupted from the audience. Some even begin to cry in that short time. Guards ran towards the stage. I, however, couldn't bring myself to move. There was only one question gnawing at my head.
What happened?
Time slowed down to a beat. Cautiously, I walked towards where a crowed had gathered on the stage. I made my way inside. Once inside, I couldn't believe what my dead eyes were witnessing. Somehow I saw this coming. But seeing it for reality was completely a different story.
I watched in silence as the boys tried their best to bring him back. The guard's tried lifting him but failed.
I could do it. I could lift him but I couldn't move a muscle. The sight in front of me was too much.
Before my eyes lied Jules Carpenter. Unconcious.
--------
"Doctor! Doctor! Doctor how is he? Is he okay?" Questioned Jake breathelessly. There were tears in his eyes and so in the others.
"I'm sorry to say this but, Mr Jules is in a critical condnition. He over worked himself and also starved himself. His breathing is shallow due to lack of energy." Said the doctor with a grim voice.
"Will...will our Jules be okay?' Asked Heli, almost begging the doctor. But the doctor didn't seemed to have a happy news. His face was grim and he looked sad. "I'm sorry. But by the time he was brought here, his heart had stopped funtioning. He's in life support now. You can see him if you want."
The doctors words hit everyone like thick ice. No one spoke, nor could anyone move. Jules was going to die. And they could do nothing about it.
Outside, a crowed of fans had already gathered, some among them were reporters. They screamed and cried, scared to know what happened to their lover.
Slowly, one by one, the boys walked into the room. Once inside, they all broke down when they saw the sight infront of them.
And so did I
Standing from a far distance, I watched as Jules lied there in the bed, not moving at all, his body so stiff and rigid as if he was already dead. Maybe he was. His pink plump lips where now poison blue. He already had dark circles under his eyes, but now they were even more visible.
The smell in the room only said one thing. Death. Everywhere I sniffed, it only smelled of death. As if it was close. Too close to this room, and it would be here any minute, sucking the soul out of Jules.
Jules was going to die. That was one thing for sure. He was not going to survive this.
But how could I let it happen? How could I, Heathens guardian who died and came back for their sake could not save them when they were in such danger? Was I just to save then from tripping over tiny stones or was there more to it?
I never knew. But one thing was for certain. That I am their guardian. And I am that for a reason. So whatever be the cause, I must try saving them, even if it meant I die again. I had to bring Jules back to life. I had to save him.
But the main question was, how?
I had done all sorts of magic for the past few months. Bringing a person back from the dead was not one of them.
What should I do?
Slowly, I shut my eyes and concentrated.
I can do this. I CAN do this!
Just then, time stopped. I opened my eyes to see everything frozen in place. I looked at the clock and it was stuck.
I think it worked.
I turned towards Jules who was lying their so still I almost forgot he was there. Slowly, I placed my palms over his forehead. "This will be enough, Jules. You can wake up now. They are waiting for you."
My voice shook and my palms were sweating. I was scared it wouldn't work. But just as I said it, it seemed as if Jules could hear me. His eyes flew open and for a brief second, we stared at each other.
Within a time span of a second, I forced a reassuring smile out and said, "Everything's going to be alright." Inside his head and at that moment, his eyes closed shut and time unfroze.
The clock started ticking again. The boys begin crying again. Everything was the same except one thing. Jules's face started gaining colour. Jules moved a finger and the boys stopped crying.
"J-Jules?" Victor said. Slowly Jules opened his eyes, much to everyone's surprise. Jules groaned and Steve called for the doctor.
"Jules, are you awake?" Noah asked to which Jules nodded. They all smiled and breathed out sighs of relief, holding Jules's hands. I did the same.
The doctor finally came in. "Mr Jules? Are you okay? How are you feeling?"
"I-I-I feel... weak." Jules replied.
The doctor pressed on. "Mr Jules, what do you remember?"
For a while he didn't reply. Then he turned towards the direction where I stood only this time, he couldn't see me like before.
"I remember..... I remember.... dying. And then this girl... this girl.... she was so beautiful. Like an angel. She said me I was going to be okay." I blushed at Jules's words.
He thinks am beautiful like an angel.
The doctor nodded. "Alright Mr Jules, get some rest."
With that, he left Jules to his friend's company who showered him with hugs and teary kisses. Even Steve decided to hug and kiss him this time.
Justin said, "So who is this girl you saw? Your dream girl?"
"God! Stop it, Justin!" Jake said, slapping the youngers back.
"I think it's something to do with the miracles that has been happening to us lately. What if she's our guardian angel?" Victor suddenly said.
Even if his members thought it to be his foolishness, the look in Victor's face said he was serious. Somehow, Justin seemed to agree. But no matter what other's thought or guessed, since that day on, Jules could never stop thinking about the mysterious me, the girl who saved his life.

Narrator:
From where the hospital stood, a crowd was already present. Some where crying out of happiness while others celebrated.
Meanwhile, within the crowed stood a man in pitch black suit and a black hat on his head. Had it not been for the hat that made him invisible for mortal eye, he would have been as famous and loved as Heathens themselves. He once was, until he brought himself a terrible fate.
He stood there, watching the building, listening to the laughter of seven young boys, even if the were skies away from him. He sighed in confusion and looked at the name card in his hand.
NAME: JULES CARPENTER
DATE OF BIRTH: 16 OCTOBER 1995
AGE: 24
CAUSE OF DEATH: OVER WORKING, EXHAUSTION
He looked at the building again before the words in the card disappeared. "So miracles do happen yet. Strange. Still feels a little out of the ordinary."
He was right. Something was out of the ordinary. But sadly for him and fortunately for someone else, he didn't realize it. He didn't realize it that there was a missing soul in the room.
