Murder

A few weeks later:

"Hey! I want to go out! I want to go out and celebrate! We just released our new album and look at us! Sitting and making dumplings here." Heli said in irritation.

"We have no other choice. The album had been released for at least a few hours now. And the world is going crazy already. It's like a time bomb out there. Let things calm a little, then we can have a drink." Steven said. Noah agreed along with him. "He's right. Mr. Albright said we could go out once things quiet down. For now, let's wait. Hailey wanted to get along too. She said she would be coming over tomorrow. We can hang out then."

Reluctantly, the others agreed.

Six hours had passed since Heathens released their new album, Soulless, with the title track, that is In LUV, featured Hailey.

Fans had been going crazy. Not just in USA, but all over the world. Things where a terrible mess in New York since fans where in a frenzy, doing this and that.

The boys wanted to celebrate, I wanted them to do too, but there was no way they were getting out. I could clear the path for them, but I wanted fans to enjoy as well.

"Man I feel so relaxed now that we have finally released it. Do you think fans will like it?" Questioned Justin. Jake was the first to reply. "I'm not sure. I hope they do.'

"Ah, that reminds me. Remember that incident with Jules? Man I got so so so scared that day!' Justin said, putting a hand to his chest to show the shock he felt.

"Of course! Is that a thing to forget? It was a life and death situation!" Replied Victor.

"Say no more. I really felt like I died that day. I could feel my soul leaving my body. And then that-" Jules stopped in mid sentence as if something was bothering him. "And then that-"

He stammered yet. I knew what was bothering him, but I wanted to hear him say it out loud.

"And then that what Jules?" Noah asked.

"That... girl."

"Ah that girl? The one who said you that you will be okay? Who is she by the way? Have you ever seen her before? Is she your dream girl?" Justin asked, more like teased.

"Cut the crap Justin." Steven snapped. Jules, however, was very serious. 'No. She's not my dream girl. In fact I never saw her before. But something tells me we saw her in something. In...in...like...how can I explain this? Like once you see someone and never again. Like that."

"Huh? Are you saying WE saw her somewhere?" Jake asked to which Jules shrugged. "That's how I felt."

Heathens just saw me once. That was true. There was a picture of me in the news. That was the only thing they saw of me. But sadly, Jules couldn't remember.

Or should I say luckily, because if he happened to remember it, he might get scared. He might think I'm haunting him.

"We have been going through a lot lately. And everything we did, there was always a miracle. What if, I'm just saying WHAT IF, it's her? What if she's our guardian and she's looking after us?" Victor suggested. A sea of affection flooded in for him.

"Come on Vic. You're not making any sense. I think you watched too much Dramas lately.' Heli replied. Victor didn't say anything again, but it was clear he didn't believe Heli. He was sure there was a guardian angel.

A while later, he said, "I had a feeling a miracle would occur. Back in the hospital, when the doctor said he couldn't save Jules, I had a feeling there would be a miracle."

"You did, didn't you? Even I thought so. I felt like another miracle would occur like everytime. But bringing someone back from the dead, don't you think it's just impossible? It's like...messing with the deity's plan." Justin replied.

I know Justin. Even I never thought it would be possible. I never thought I would posses such powers.

"You guys are delusional, you know that right?" Noah said.

"Whatever. Don't believe us if you don't want to." Jules replied. Before things could get out of hand, Steven spoke up. "It's past time now. I'm going to go sleep. Let's celebrate once we are awake okay?"

The boys agreed and one by one they went to bed.

After tugging the six boys safely to bed, I returned to my usual spot, Victor's room where I would watch over him all night.

Once I entered, Tin looked up as if greeting me. He didn't growl in fear to wake up his master. He just glared at me as I tugged Victor's under the covers.

"Sweet dreams." I whispered and retreated to my spot on the window sill from where I watched the sky from time to time.

-------

The next morning:

"Okay, Hailey will be coming over today. Let's prepare for the celebration!" Noah announced in excitement.

The other's got to work happily. Jake busily prepared breakfast as the boys filed in. It was already late, the boys had taken a full clean nap and had woken up late. They had their breakfast anyway.

"Alright Tin, let's go for a walk." Victor announced. The members looked up at him. "Now? Don't you think it's too late for that? You even had your breakfast." Jake said.

Victor just waved it away. "It's alright. I just want some fresh air. Tin will like it too. Let's go Tin." Without furthur conversation, he left. I followed him out too.

The street's were busy as usual, but Victor still found his way around. He was like a little child when it came to roaming around. Whatever he saw in the streets, he liked it and wanted to make it his. All the unique stuff especially.

Walking on and on, Victor got a phone call. I gave him his own privacy to take it, since it was not my business. Once done, he started pocketing it back when he bumped into a girl.

They hit so hard that they almost crashed to the floor. Tin started barking.

"Sorry" The girl said. Victor apologised too and they were on their merry way again.

I could barely see the girl's face, since she had it all covered with her hairs, her head bowed down.

What a suspisious look.

I tried to read her mind, before I got interrupted. Passing by, a man talked on with his companion.

"So I spoke with Sven and guess what he told me? He said it's a murder case." I stopped in mid track as I heard the word's that fall out of the man's mouth.

I read him.

A police officer of The Department of Crime from New York police station.

"Really? So you are saying the girl was murdered? Good Lord! The person tried to make it look like a hit and run case! He did murder yeah, but he tried to make it look like it was pure coincidence. What people!" The companion said. I read him and he had the same information. The man they were talking about named Sven was a policeman too.

A police from tue Crime's unit from Minnesotapolice station.

Minnesota.

My home town.

A girl murdered.

Hit and run case.

Some how all of these seemed so familiar. By the time I knew what the whole matter was, I was already getting goosebumps. The hairs behind my neck stood on edge and my blood ran cold.

The man took out a file and handed it to his companion. Opening it, there was a case info in it and a girls bio-data. I took a few steps as I saw who the girl was. I read the name and that said it all.

The girl in the picture was me.

I was the girl. I was the girl who was murdered six months ago.
