....Oh she is really beautiful,what a cute baby girl look at those bubbly cheeks and pink lips and fine thick hair, said one of the midwives who came to see the baby girl,so sad the mother just died,oh really what a sad news to hear,yes the mother died minutes after her delivery,so sad she needs to be taken to the orphanage,"I hope she gets adopted by a rich family one of the the nurses shouted or even a royal family,she is too cute to suffer,it's okay get to work lady's the head midwife shouted walking towards where they were, with the doctor who delivered the baby,so we still haven't heard anything from them family of the woman the doctor asked,yes doctor the head midwife replied,hmmm tooooo bad she has to be taken to the orphanage,of course doctor let's write a statement and wait for tomorrow if none comes we take her to the orphanage.

 Miss Ella please u have visitors,a young woman in white long sleeves and a black pencil skirt announced,let them in miss Ella said without looking at her and continued writing something down,the secretary opened the door and two figures made their way in with one holding a baby,miss Ella rised her head and adjust her glasses to see them well.Well,well who do we have here miss Ella said enthusiastically,our greetings miss Ella the woman holding the baby said,no nono my greetings rather miss Veronica miss Ella stood up for a handshake and bowed her head at them,it's my pleasure,sit sit miss Ella insisted they got seated and narrated the reason for coming,baby normally gets adopted fast so no worries,that's not the problem miss Ella,the head midwife continued,"oh"miss Ella was confuse,the problem is that she has a family and we are still looking for her family,her mother's last words was that she had a father,if the family really cares they would have come looking for her miss Ella retorted,hmmm I guess hummed the head midwife,Here are the letters and her birth certificate and her confidentialities,we leave her in your care miss Ella,let me call the care taker miss Ella hurriedly said,she called an old lady and the lady came in and collected the baby,she is such a quiet baby said the care taker.Okay we would take our leave,of course miss Ella said and escorted them towards the main gate,they said their final goodbyes and left,miss Ella closed the the gate and turned around with an evil smirk dancing on her face.

 .....In a far away land there stood a majestic castle with birds singing and the sound of Fresh water from the lake created a beautiful harmony, inside the castle all the maids were going on with their daily duties with joyful faces, except for one maid who seemed to be looking for her daughter with a worried face Riya,Riya!!!!!! where on earth is this child,the woman walked through the hallway towards the gardens looking around,mother! mother! I am here and the maid turns around to see her daughter jumping off a horse,Riya what's the meaning of this mother, I just went for a ride, what if you get caught, I asked for permission mother from Sir Louis,of course you asked for permission her mother said sarcastically,be very careful around that man,mother you know....I said be very careful around that man is that clear,yes mother, anyways you are needed by the princess,riyas face suddenly changed.The last thing she wanted to hear.

 Knock knock, the knock on the door drove a young lady who was gracefully sitting on the bed out of the daze,come in she ordered,good day your highness what's good about today the young lady said with a smirk on her face,my legs are hurting do your job,of course your highness Riya bended and started massaging her feet,after this do justice to those dirty clothes do u understand!!,yes your highness,and after this prepare a bath for me and help me dress up because am going out is that clear, yes your highness,this treatment from Erica didn't bother Riya because riya was used to her even though it didn't sit well with her she knew the consequences of disobeying,after the massage Riya prepared a bath for her and sent her clothes to the laundry and she was done for the day.

 On her way to the kitchen she heard the other maids murmuring and whispering to themselves,she didn't clearly hear what they were saying because she didn't want to eavesdrop,at least not today she was extremely tired,she got to the kitchen only to see her mother busily kneeling a dough,mother am so tired,the mother micmiced the same words sarcastically,I left some food for u the mother said,Riya picked up the food and started devouring it,it tastes so good she said,it eat like a lady Riya,mother am just hungry she retorted, hurry and go home and take a shower and get some rest you look tired,yes mother, mother I want to help with the kneading,no dear it's fine just go home and prepare for tomorrow there are going to be visitors form the east, okay mother.

 .....Riya was walking alongside the road ,when she saw people gathering around and shouting, some were crying,so she decided to take a look at what was going on,when she got to the crowd the heads of the people were blocking her view,but she managed to see what was going on,what she say saw made her face twist with fear and disgust and goose bumps crawling on her body, "thi,this is unbelievable"she sturmed ,a lifeless body lying on the the ground with blood oozing from the neck,Riya couldn't believe her eyes, couldn't it be a vampire,"no no no she said to herself" and as if they knew what she was thinking she heard the others saying this was a vampire mark,so do those creatures really existed she murdered to herself, all her life she had a peaceful upbringing even though her mother really used to read story about the warm and cold blooded monsters who sucked people's blood at night she never thought it was real till today,this was so horrifying she came out of the crowd with a worried and disgust look plastered on the face, whiles wondering how would she go home alone,she saw group of people heading to the road that leads to their home so she hurriedly followed them,she reached home safely and closed the door behind her, a breath of relief came out of her mouth,she saw her father lying on the couch sleeping,it was cold so she covered him with a blanket and went to her room.
