The young girl, still shaken, retreated to the side of the merchant caravan's wagon.

Seeing Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Empress swiftly kill the Wolf Raider and save his sister, the two young men were both shocked and grateful.

"Thank you, friends, for your timely assistance!" one of the young men called out as they fended off their own attackers.

However, before Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Empress could respond, several howls echoed through the air. The Wolf Raiders, seeing one of their own fall, turned their attention to Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Empress.

Five Wolf Raiders, their eyes glowing with a cold, bloodthirsty light, lunged at them from different directions, their sharp claws ready to strike.

"Sister, be careful!" the young girl, still watching from the sidelines, couldn't help but shout a warning.

Blue Silver Empress simply smiled and nodded at the girl without saying a word. She activated her second spirit ring, casting Blue Silver Protection on herself and Lin Yongming.

"Xiao Ming, be careful," Blue Silver Empress said, her voice calm despite the approaching danger. She trusted Lin Yongming to handle the situation.

"Got it," Lin Yongming nodded, his second spirit ring glowing as well.

When the Wolf Raiders were within a meter of them, Lin Yongming unleashed his second spirit skill, Wave Burst. Blue Silver Empress, anticipating the move, stepped behind him.

"Howl!"

The five Wolf Raiders were sent flying, their eyes wide with shock. Though their bodies showed no external injuries, their internal organs were severely damaged by the shockwave. While not fatal, the injuries were enough to leave them incapacitated.

"Brother... impressive!" one of the young men called out, his voice deep and resonant.

"Second Brother, focus! Let's finish off these Wolf Raiders and get out of here. If another pack shows up, we'll be in trouble."

"Right, Big Brother. Haotian Hammer!" The two young men unleashed their powerful spirits, their hammers glowing with energy as they swiftly dealt with the remaining Wolf Raiders.

Their hammer techniques seemed chaotic and unpredictable, but with each swing, their power grew stronger and more focused.

"Is that the Haotian Sect's Chaotic Wind Hammer Technique?" Lin Yongming thought to himself. While others might see only chaos, Lin Yongming's Mind's Eye allowed him to perceive the precise wrist movements and force behind each strike.

"A'Yin, it looks like they don't need our help. Let's go assist the other three," Lin Yongming said after a moment of observation.

"They're Spirit Kings, so they should be fine. Let's go help the other three Spirit Elders," Blue Silver Empress agreed, her gaze shifting to the three Spirit Elders on the right flank, who were already showing signs of injury.

As Blue Silver Empress walked over, the barren ground beneath her feet seemed to come alive. Lush Blue Silver Grass sprouted in her wake, creating a stark contrast to the desolate wasteland.

"Third Spirit Skill, Blue Silver Bind!" Blue Silver Empress used her vines to restrain the Wolf Raiders, giving Lin Yongming the opportunity to strike.

"Thank you, friends, for your assistance!" the three Spirit Elders said, relieved as they caught their breath.

"Step back," Lin Yongming said without turning around.

"Third Spirit Skill, Unparalleled Thunderstrike!" Lin Yongming unleashed his third spirit skill, creating a black hole-like rift that sucked in the Wolf Raiders before exploding, taking out several of them in one go.

With Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Empress joining the fight, the tide quickly turned. The twenty or so Wolf Raiders were soon defeated, with only five managing to escape.

One of the young men wanted to chase after them, but the other stopped him. "Second Brother, don't chase them. Let's check on Little Sister first."

"Alright, Big Brother," the younger brother reluctantly agreed.

The two young men, still holding their Haotian Hammers, walked over to the caravan. The young girl rushed forward to meet them.

"Big Brother, Second Brother, I thought I was going to die back there," the girl said, her voice trembling as she hugged them.

"It's alright, Little Sister. You're safe now," the two brothers comforted her, patting her shoulders.

"Don't cry, or they'll see your ugly face," the younger brother teased, trying to lighten the mood.

"Second Brother, you're so mean!" the girl said, her tears turning into a smile as she playfully hit her brother.

Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Empress, along with the three Spirit Elders, walked over to join them.

"Is everyone alright? Does anyone need healing? I'm a control and healing-type spirit master," Blue Silver Empress offered.

Lin Yongming remained silent, but he couldn't help but notice the two young men's hammer techniques and their sister. He had a strong suspicion about their identities.

"Could it be? Have I really run into them this early? And why are they in the Heaven Dou Empire?" Lin Yongming wondered to himself.

As far as he knew, the Haotian Sect was still based in the Star Luo Empire. It wasn't until a certain incident that they retreated to the mountains of the Heaven Dou Empire.

Lin Yongming found it strange that the three siblings were traveling without any protection, especially with their younger sister, who had only level 9 spirit power.

"Thank you, spirit masters, for your help. If it weren't for you, I would have lost not only my goods but also my life. When we reach Heaven Dou Fortress, I'll treat you all to a meal as thanks," the caravan leader, a middle-aged man, said with a bow.

"You're too kind, sir. We were just passing by and couldn't ignore the Wolf Raiders. Anyone would have done the same. We just didn't expect so many of them," the older brother said modestly.

"Regardless, without you, I wouldn't have made it to Heaven Dou Fortress alive. Please accept this small token of my gratitude," the caravan leader insisted, handing over a pouch of coins.

"I think we should leave this area first. The smell of blood might attract more Wolf Raiders," Lin Yongming interjected, sensing the urgency of the situation.

"Right, right! Let's get moving," the caravan leader agreed, clearly shaken by the encounter.

The group quickly regrouped and set off, with Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Empress joining the three siblings in one of the wagons.

"Thank you both for saving our little sister. I'm Tang Xiao, and this is my brother, Tang Hao. If there's anything we can do to repay you, just say the word," the older brother said, clasping his fists in gratitude.

"I'm Tang Hao. If anything had happened to our sister, our father would never forgive us," the younger brother added.

"Tang Xiao, Tang Hao! And their sister must be Tang Yuehua. So it really is them," Lin Yongming thought, his suspicions confirmed.

"You're too kind. We were just passing by and heard the commotion. We couldn't ignore it," Lin Yongming said humbly.

"Regardless, you saved me, and I'm grateful. I'm Tang Yuehua. Thank you both," the young girl said, bowing slightly.

"You're all too polite. We really were just passing by," Blue Silver Empress said gently.

"Brother, is that a blindfold? I thought it was just a headscarf to protect against the wind and sand," Tang Xiao asked, noticing the black cloth covering Lin Yongming's eyes.

"Yeah, the dust outside is pretty bad, but inside the wagon, it's not so bad," Tang Hao added.

"Ah, you've misunderstood. I'm actually blind. The cloth is just to make me look less unusual," Lin Yongming explained casually.

"What? That's impossible! You fought those Wolf Raiders so effortlessly. You don't look blind at all," Tang Yuehua exclaimed in surprise.

"I've gotten used to it. It's not a big deal," Lin Yongming said with a faint smile.

"Xiao Ming has been blind since birth. There's no need to stare," Blue Silver Empress said, her tone sharp as she noticed the siblings' curious gazes.

"Our apologies," the three said awkwardly.

"Brother, I admire you. To have achieved such strength despite being blind since childhood is truly impressive," Tang Hao said sincerely. "Are you two siblings? With your level 40 spirit power, are you heading to the Sunset Forest for a spirit ring?"

Lin Yongming's heart skipped a beat. "Is Tang Hao already interested in Blue Silver Empress?"

"Of course not. We're a couple. Childhood sweethearts," Blue Silver Empress said firmly, cutting off any misunderstanding.

"Good, Tang Hao is too late," Lin Yongming thought, relieved by Blue Silver Empress's response.

"Mm," Lin Yongming nodded in agreement.

"I see. My mistake. You two just look so alike, like siblings. I guess that's what they call a couple's aura," Tang Hao said, a hint of disappointment in his voice.

"We call it matching outfits," Blue Silver Empress said, linking her arm with Lin Yongming's.

"A'Yin, this is a bit embarrassing. They're all watching," Lin Yongming whispered, though the others in the wagon could still hear him.

"Ugh... why do I feel like I've lost something important? My heart feels heavy," Tang Hao thought, feeling an inexplicable sense of loss as he watched Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Empress.

"Where are you three from? Your spirits feel incredibly powerful. But why bring your sister along? She's only at level 9 spirit power. Isn't it dangerous for her to travel with you?" Lin Yongming asked, genuinely curious.

Lin Yongming found it odd that Tang Xiao and Tang Hao, as direct descendants of the Haotian Sect, would bring their sister on such a dangerous journey without any protection.

"We're actually escorting our sister. She has a unique spirit and a passion for music. She wants to study under the best musicians in Heaven Dou City, so our father sent us to protect her on the journey," Tang Xiao explained.

"I see," Lin Yongming nodded, understanding now.

"So this is how Tang Yuehua becomes the mistress of the Moon Pavilion in Heaven Dou City's Imperial Etiquette Academy," Lin Yongming thought.

"But you two are so young and already Spirit Kings. Your sister, though younger, shouldn't be stuck at level 9 spirit power," Blue Silver Empress said, her curiosity piqued.

"Sigh... our sister's spirit mutated negatively during her awakening. She can't advance further. Her innate spirit power is only level 9," Tang Hao said regretfully.

"A mutated spirit with level 9 innate spirit power... that's truly unfortunate," Lin Yongming said sympathetically.

"I wonder what Tang Yuehua would look like wielding the Haotian Hammer. Like Zhong Wuyan from King of Glory?" Lin Yongming mused to himself.

"It's fine. Like you said, I've gotten used to it," Tang Yuehua said, though her voice carried a hint of sadness.

No one wanted to be powerless, especially not a direct descendant of the Haotian Sect.

Lin Yongming smiled awkwardly, deciding not to mention the possibility of using immortal herbs to fix Tang Yuehua's spirit mutation. As a member of the Spirit Hall, he couldn't risk revealing such information, especially to the Haotian Sect.

"Where are you two from? You're so young yet already Spirit Ancestors. Are you from the Spirit Hall?" Tang Xiao asked, trying to learn more about Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Empress.

"No, we're just villagers. We had our spirits awakened by the Spirit Hall when we were six, so we're technically members, but we're not affiliated with them. Otherwise, why would a blind man like me be out here hunting for spirit rings?" Lin Yongming explained.

"That's impressive. But how did you get a thousand-year spirit ring for your second spirit ring?" Tang Xiao pressed.

"Well, it was a life-or-death situation. As a blind man, I couldn't tell the age of the spirit beast. I stumbled upon two spirit beasts fighting and managed to kill one when they were both weakened. It was pure luck," Lin Yongming said, feigning a look of fear.

"It's my fault. I was too young and didn't know enough about spirit beasts. I almost got Xiao Ming killed because of that spirit ring," Blue Silver Empress added, her voice tinged with guilt.

"You've had quite the journey. But your luck is incredible to have survived this long," Tang Xiao said, impressed.

Hearing that Lin Yongming was technically a member of the Spirit Hall, Tang Xiao decided against trying to recruit him.

"Indeed. Making it to 15 years old has been no small feat," Lin Yongming said, exaggerating his age to 15.
