chapter 4

With a crack of lightning Hope, Daphne and Alexandria teleported halfway around the world. The Thunderbird had to read Hope's thoughts for a destination as she had no clue where to lightning-travel to in this new universe. Hope seemed to have a fair idea on what was going to happen in this world.

The girls arrived in a forest preserve just on the outskirts of the city of Beacon Hills, California. Their soon to be new home for the foreseeable future as they took their time building a relationship with Allison and hopefully make some changes to help out this universe if they can.

Daphne turned her head to the side, raising an immaculate eyebrow in her wife's direction. "So aside from wishing to murder our soulmate's father for insulting us, do you want to tell me why we left Allison alone on an entire other continent?"

Hope gave a small smile as she also made a tiny noise of amusement in the back of her throat. "Well, I thought that we should make an effort to settle into this new world and in the town where Allison will eventually be showing up, in…" The Tribrid looked up into the sky to see the rising ¾ moon in the dark night sky. "A little under a week."

Hope shrugged at Daphne's raised questioning eyebrows as she explained further. "Allison will be back in Beacon Hills before the next full moon."

"As for Allison's father, I think that all of us need some time to process everything. From what I know about this universe, Chris was never a fan of Werewolves. He was taught to hunt Werewolves that couldn't control themselves and that were a threat to society. His hatred towards Werewolf did stem from his father, Gerard, so Chris' distrust isn't surprising. I can tell you more about him if you want but I think I'll be staying out of Allison's life so she can tell us herself, if she so chooses." Hope considers with some serious thought as she nervously plays with the indicolite heart-shaped stone her engagement ring, her fingers also grazing over the curves of the infinity symbol.

"And let's face it, love. I am extremely dangerous. In my opinion Argent has every right to be skittish around me." Hope announced with a pleased smile as her sassy confidence returned and a flash of burning orange eyes as she released the built up magic into the earth in a steady wave of power.

Daphne gave an unlady-like snort at Hope's last acknowledgement including the elder Argent.

"Good. But I still plan on apparating in on Allison while she's still in France." Daphne mentioned as the couple walked out of the forest hand in hand.

"Of that I have no doubt and I'll join you… Although you may be the only one to actually enter the house." Hope replied with an annoyed eye roll.

"There are some moments where I hate being a Vampire. Needing an invitation to enter our soulmate's home will be one instant I despise." Daphne couldn't help the smirk and mirthful laughter that crossed her face at Hope's frustration, but she outwardly supported her Mate by placing a cool hand into her wife's closest hand, gripping it tight.

Hope did see the blonde's amusement at her own dismay but she couldn't find it in herself to be upset, instead she gladly took Daphne's hand into her own. Hope lifted their joined hands up to her mouth and placed a gentle kiss on the back of Daphne's hand with a pleased sigh.

"However, in the meantime, we should start making a base of operations in Beacon Hills while we take the opportunity to get to know Allison." The Tribrid mentioned as the couple started walking through the forest until they made it to the edge of the wildlife reserve.

Alexandria was excitingly taking in all the sights and sounds around her with fascinated interest as she explored this new world with what appeared to have minimalistic amounts of supernatural creatures living freely.

"Fair enough darling. So where do we start?" The Ice Witch wondered as they entered a rural-like civilization.

Daphne glanced down at her filthy and bloodied clothes before looking over Hope's equally bloody clothes. Hope felt her wife's gaze and disgust as Daphne observed their destroyed clothing. The Tribrid snapped her fingers, instantly changing their clothes into something less bloody and a lot more casual for No-Maj areas so they could blend in with civilization.

Hope turned to face the beautiful blonde girl that has stuck by her side for the last 3 years and smiled as she pulled Daphne closer to herself, shifting them so Hope's arm went around Daphne's back and rested her hand on her wife's narrow waist. Daphne's arm moved accordingly and rested over Hope's shoulders due to their slight height difference.

Daphne laughed at the stray thought that crossed Hope's mind as she wrapped her arm around the Tribrid's shoulders.

The brunette made a snippy little comment about still being the shortest of the 3 soulmates as Allison and Daphne were both roughly around the same height 5'6" or 5;7" in comparison to Hope's 5'3". The Original Tribrid just knew that Lizzie is going to make fun of her for being the oldest, yet also the shortest out of the group of soulmates.

"If we go off using my previous experiences in time-travel and universal-travel. The first thing we need to do is find somewhere to live." The Tribrid answered as she huffed, pulling away from Daphne as she grumbled under her breath about cheeky soulmates who enjoy poking at her height.

Once the couple entered a more populated area of Beacon Hills, Hope placed an invisibility charm on the Thunderbird after a short but intense argument between the Tribrid and the Familiar bird.

Alexandria wasn't leaving Hope's side after the scare she experienced with Daphne's temporary death and Hope's paralysis. Hope, on the other hand, tried to tell her young feathered friend that walking into town with a large bird on her shoulder wouldn't be remarkably incognito in this particular universe.

Hope and Daphne walked around town taking notice of the very limited number of 'For Sale' signs. Although if Hope had to guess, she would assume that these properties would be classified as high maintenance homes from the large two-storey buildings and pristine front gardens.

"Out of curiosity… But how do we plan on getting a home in Beacon Hills?" Daphne questioned her brunette soulmate with a quizzical expression on her face.

Hope shrugged half-heartedly as she felt a small amount of guilt at her response. "Honestly, my plan was to compel us a house… But I guess that we could alternatively try using our magic to create a house. Although if we created a house out of magic we wouldn't have any access to electricity or plumbing."

Daphne had a remarkably unimpressed look on her face at the idea of a house with no plumbing, the blonde could live without electricity as she has for the past 17 years of her life. "Eww. No. I will admit that compulsion isn't exactly how I would expect us to get our first house together but how will using compulsion help us remain under the supernatural radar?"

The Tribrid made a grunt in the back of her throat as she scratched the back of her head. "It doesn't really but what would you like me to do Daph? We may have brought some supplies from your universe but unfortunately what we don't have is money in this world. Which means we have nothing to get us started in this universe. We have to start from scratch."

"I was beyond lucky when I arrived in your universe and the Flamels were already waiting for me. Nic and Nelle provided for me, offering me a home, clothes, supplies and everything else that I ever needed." Hope mentioned with a smile or remembrance as she thought about her parents from the Wizarding World.

"We unfortunately don't have that stability in this world." Hope continued her thought process to explain just how screwed they were.

Daphne sighed with a frustrated expression on her face, even if she did fully understand where her soulmate was coming from. She still wasn't keen about the prospect of using compulsion to steal a new life here. "Couldn't we at least try using the Goblin's credit card?"

Hope gave Daphne an incredulous look at the suggestion, the Ice Witch became rather defensive at the outrageous look. "What? It's not that far out of the realm of possibility is it? Let's face it, you especially should be aware of just how powerful magic is. You're the one who loves telling us that we can do whatever we can set our mind to if we just focus on our magical ability."

The part-Werewolf girl was appraising her wife's words as she bobbed her head in acceptance. "I suppose there's no harm in at least trying it out my lovely Ice Queen." Hope remarked as she pressed a kiss against the blonde's icy cheekbones.

Daphne smiled smugly at Hope's approval. "Thank you darling."

Hope came to a sudden stop and turned to face Daphne with a look of total astonishment on the Tribrid's face. "How is it that we've only been together for a little over 3 years and yet we sound like an old married couple?"

Daphne took a moment as her mind processed her wife's supposed concern before the blonde Witch snorted loudly in mirth at the comparison, shaking her head in both amusement and light-heartedness.

"I have no idea. Although it also doesn't surprise me. We've always been a little more advanced and mature than most kids our age… Well, I am anyway. I can't say the same for you when you and Nic get on a roll." Daphne remarked with a hint of laughter in her voice.

Hope scoffed as she placed a hand to her heart in a mocking gesture before smirking. Too amused to keep up the playful banter. "I would argue this, but you are right."

The Tribrid leaned closer to Daphne's ear as her lips brushed the shell of the other girl's ear making the blonde shiver pleasantly. "However you should add my Aunt Freya, Lizzie, Luna, Harry, Susan and occasionally yourself to that list. Especially since you have a tendency to turn into a mischievous minx whenever we are alone."

Daphne put a little space between them as she turned to face her wife with a blush on her cheeks in the lightly populated street in the middle of town.

The Slytherin Ice Queen tilted her head to the side as she hovered barely a hair's breadth away from the Tribrid. Their faces are illuminated by the overhead street lights as Hope smiled as she felt Daphne's need for intimacy.

Hope smirked as she raised her hands up to link behind Daphne's neck, playing with the fine hairs there as she pulled the other girl's head down towards the Tribrid's smiling face.

"I'm so very glad that you aren't dead love." Hope announced with such conviction that Daphne sobered up from their playful banter.

"Please promise me that you will do everything in your power to make sure this never happens again. I don't think I could survive if you died again Daph." Hope almost sobbed as she spoke.

"I promise to try my hardest to avoid death by all means Hope, but you need to make the same promise darling. The thought of you dying breaks my heart." Daphne promised as she placed her hands on Hope's hips, gripping her lover tightly and bringing their lower bodies closer together.

Hope pressed their foreheads together as she released a peaceful but watery sigh at Daphne's acceptance. "I promise Daph. I have no intention of leaving you alone. Hopefully we can add Allison to that list as well as our remaining mystery soulmate."

The Tribrid was fully aware that this wasn't the time to point out that she was immortal and through their bond, so was Daphne. This was obviously something that both girls were highly concerned about.

The two girls smiled and Hope took the initiative to move Daphne's head to the side slightly so she could get the best angle to deeply kiss the blonde in her arms.

Hope pulled back slightly. "We should really find some place to stay for the night. I don't think we'll be able to buy a place at 8 o'clock at night and I'll admit I don't feel like compelling someone to force them to let me into their homes" The Tribrid mentioned with a small quip in her voice.

Daphne sighed quietly as she ran her hands lovely up and down Hope's sides before removing them from her partner. "No, I doubt we will. So what do you want to do? Shift into our wolves and sleep in the forest?"

The part-Werewolf girl took a step back from Daphne and pivoted around on the spot as she observed the suspiciously quiet town. "As amusing as it would be to freak out the Beacon Hills Pack. I think it would be best if we find a hotel to stay in for the night and start fresh tomorrow."

Hope's body perked up straight as she saw such an establishment in the distance. Daphne turned to face whatever captured her wife's attention and made a partially disturbed face.

"Love… Stop being so pretentious. It's just for one night and I'll cast a cleaning spell on the room the moment we enter. Besides you're the one who wanted to sleep on the dirt in the forest. What are you complaining about?" Hope cheekily mentioned as she wrapped her arms around Daphne's waist, pressing her athletic body fully against the blonde's back as she rested her chin on the taller girl's shoulder.

Daphne let out an annoyed grumble but leaned back against the Tribrid's comforting presence, relaxing in her gentle hold as she bit back sassily. "I would just lie on your Wolf. She loves me and would bend over backwards to make sure I didn't sleep on the ground."

Hope froze for a second as she thought about it and her Werewolf Side casually spoke up in her mind, answering proudly with a ' Of course I would. I love her dumbass' .

The Tribrid almost snorted aloud at her internal dialogue and the imagery of a slightly larger blonde wolf curling up in a tight ball so she could fit on the smaller white-grey Werewolf. This vision caused her Vampiric Side to just laugh loudly in her mind.

"But fine, we'll stay in a hotel. But if the squabble of a room looks filthy I hold the right to use glamours and conjurations on any items that I deemed too dirty to touch." The Ice Witch demanded.

Hope chuckled in Daphne's ear as she gave the younger girl a quick squeeze around her tight stomach. "Wow… Daph, you can be remarkably snobby."

The brunette pressed cheek against her lover's cooled ear causing the other girl to shiver as Hope took on a more teasing and lighter tone with her next words. "I blame your entitled and sheltered upbringing in the magical world. You're starting to sound like Fluer when we first meet her."

An amused scoff escaped the blonde's throat as she shook her head slightly and pressed a sharp elbow into Hope's gut as she moved out of Hope's already loosening hold. The Tribrid made an exaggerated pained reaction to being elbowed before laughing heartily at the exquisite smile on the Ice Witch's face.

"Evil brat." Daphne chuckled in playful exasperation.

"My beautiful minx." Hope replied immediately with a tilt of her head, a wonderful smile plastered on her face as she stared lovingly at the blonde in front of her.

Daphne blushed at the attention the other girl was giving her as she shyly made her request to her wife as she brushed back some of her hair behind her ear. "Come on, let's go to the hotel to stay for the night. Apparently dying and coming back to life makes one remarkably sleepy."

Hope glared at Daphne.

The blonde felt her partner's anger and sighed. "Yeah… That joke was way too early to make. Sorry, darling. I didn't even realised I said that until after I made it."

- - -

Allison was waiting impatiently for her father to finish talking to Jean about what happened while the police captain was unconscious as one of the ravenette's knees were bouncing in agitation and uncertainty. All the information and possibilities that the two girls had left Allison with were the only things running through her mind.

However, as much as she wanted to discuss everything that she learned and what was going through her mind. Allison knew that her father wouldn't be a good option as he obviously couldn't retain his hate for the Werewolf girl. Lydia might be a possible option but she would have to listen to the other girl interrogate her on what these girls were like… God, she really shouldn't have told her strawberry blonde friend that she was bisexual.

The ivory skinned girl turned to face her father who was still going over everything with the police captain while motioning to the tablet, probably asking for a copy of the video or telling Jean to watch the video to actually see what happened while he was unconscious.

Allison sighed in annoyance as she threw her head back in frustration as she closed her eyes trying to wish for the conversation between the Hunter and the police captain to hurry up and finish.

Strangely enough, the longer the Huntress had her eyes closed the calmer she became. It felt like a warmth encircled her heart, filling her with love, contentment, safety and adventure.

The ravenette frowned slightly at the feeling, realising that these particular emotions weren't coming from her. Allison could feel that this wasn't her legitimate emotions but she felt connected to it by some red string of fate.

The longer Allison kept her eyes closed and focused on this unknown sensation, the more she could feel and perceive from the subtle connection in the back of her mind.

Allison got lost in the sounds of quiet musical laughter echoing in her mind while it felt like she was encased in an overbearing sensation of comfort, like someone she loved was hugging her and sheltering the Huntress' heart from any more hurt.

In essence, Allison felt absolute love by this quiet but all-encompassing connection.

Allison suddenly jolted from her stiff position as she didn't realise that she had her eyes closed for nearly an hour without moving, just focusing on the phantom feelings that she was experiencing.

The archer gulped uncomfortably as she shot out of her seat and walked out of the police station so she could get some cool night air onto her heated face and into her claustrophobic lungs.

The ravenette had a hypothesis that the emotions that she was feeling and the phantom pressure on her skin were from Hope and Daphne. Actually Allison was positive that it was Hope and Daphne.

She believes the time-travelling pair and everything they told her as much as her mind tells her it's impossible but she can't deny the connection between herself and the Tribrid and Witch.

The Huntress felt a hint of jealousy at the amount of love that passes back and forth between the two girls from another world. It is transcendent. Ethereal. Enchanting. The type of relationship Allison had always dreamed of as a child.

Scott was her first love and always would be. He did the best he could and she loved him for that even through all the ups-and-downs relating to secrets between them even if she wasn't privy to her family's Hunter secrets as they kept that from her as well. But their relationship never held the stability she truly wished for.

Her boyfriend and her father, continuously at odds with one another due to her family's bigoted values regarding Werewolves and Scott's intense fear, embedded within him from his first interaction with her father in the woods.

Ever since Allison had touched Hope's shoulder inside the police station and the Tribrid had brought her hand down to touch Daphne in an effort to bring her back to life. Her heart instantly believed every word either of the girls said but her brain was highly skeptical of the whole interaction. So she followed her father's orders like a good little soldier until she could gather her thoughts and find out why she was reacting this way.

The Huntress doesn't believe in coincidences. Someone coming back to life as soon as their apparent soulmate came into contact with them. The ability to hear private conversations between Hope and Daphne in her mind and two of them explaining their past without any trickery.

The ivory skinned girl was feeling like she was suffocating inside the building, like the walls were closing in on her. It felt like she was having a mild panic attack. Unable to believe her heart or her mind.

Allison pulled out her phone from her pocket and hit redial, calling the last person she spoke to earlier today.

"Twice in one day. I'm starting to feel special Ally." Her best friend answered in a cheerful and teasing tone as she was in the middle of putting her shopping bags into the trunk of her car.

Allison let out a small chuckle as she heard her friend's voice immediately calming her down. "You are special Lyds."

"I know." Came the quick and proud quip from the strawberry blonde.

"So apart from hearing my lovely voice, what has you calling at… Isn't it 4am in France?" The other girl asked in confusion as the bag she was moving rustled to a sudden stop at the concern she now felt for her friend.

"Something like that. I just needed to hear your voice actually." Allison admitted tiredly.

There were a few moments of silence as Lydia froze completely, switching her phone to her more dominant left hand as she became more invested in this call due to the circumstances and considered her next words. "I'm always happy to talk to you Ally. How long did it take for you to call me?"

"Only a few seconds really, just needed to get out of the police station for some fresh air." Allison mentioned as she ran her fingers over the rough surface of the brickwork outside the precinct.

"Police? Why are you at a Police station? Did something happen?" Lydia questioned in absolute concern.

Allison smiled slightly as she rested her temple against the cool wall. "No… Well not anything terrible to do with us. Dad got a call from one of his 'Hunting' friends who happens to be a police officer and asked my dad to check the potential danger from this creature. Turns out we are not as alone as we think."

"Am I supposed to know what that means?" Lydia wondered as she sounded like she was distracted.

"Wow… I'm starting to feel lonely watching those two." Lydia mentioned with longing in the back of her throat as she slammed her trunk closed.

Allison pushed herself off the bricks as her father finally exited the police station, motioning for her to follow him back to the car.

"Aw, poor Lydia." The older girl mocked her friend as she was grateful for the change in subject, not wishing to be caught by her dad for divulging Hunter cases.

Lydia made a huffing noise over the phone line at Allison's dig at her as she moved around the side of her car until she reached the driver's side. "Although, I don't know these two girls. I think they are new to the area. I think we may have some new students at school in a couple of weeks as well as our first lesbian couple."

Allison was about to open the passenger door before freezing in place and looking up over the car to see her father looking at her with a tired but questioning look on his face. There isn't a whole lot in the world that would shock his daughter into freezing suddenly.

"Out of curiosity, but what do they look like?" Allison asked in reluctance even though the Huntress was already fairly certain that she knew who Lydia could see.

Chris' brows furrowed as he tilted his head in confusion.

"There's a blonde who looks like a supermodel, roughly about your height and to be quite frank has some similar mannerisms to me. The other is a brunette… Wow, she just turned to face me and holy hell she's gorgeous. I'm actually a little jealous… Uh Allison? Why do I get the feeling that the brunette can hear me? Cause she just smirked with perfect timing when I said she was gorgeous and her eyebrows just went up in surprise when I said your name." Lydia noted with a scientific precision as she observed the pair.

Allison made some pained faces over the top of the car to her father who made his way around the car before quietly exclaiming. "God damn it!"

"What?" Lydia replied cautiously as she kept an eye on the newcomers who were both looking at her, waiting to see what the strawberry blonde would do.

"Lydia. Can you do me a favour and stay away from them until I get back. I'm not sure what those two are capable of and I'd prefer that you didn't get involved with them." Allison basically pleaded through the phone, Chris looked flabbergasted as he mimed the words, 'they're in Beacon Hills?'

Allison bobbed her head slightly towards her father.

Lydia glanced over to the girls again and frowned, "What don't I know?"

"Lydia please, promise me."

The strawberry blonde made a noise in the back of her throat, watching as the blonde and brunette approached her with joined hands and an easy smile. "Too late for that I'm afraid."

The ravenette swore. "Shit. Lyds put me on speaker."

Lydia heard the worry and concern in her best friend's tone which had her subconsciously moving of her own accord to turn on the loudspeaker function on her phone while Allison did the same.

The brunette was the first to speak as they stopped a little over a metre away so as not to crowd the other girl with their presence. However, Lydia was already feeling the overwhelming aura of these two girls but more specifically from the brunette rather than the blonde girl, without fully understanding why she felt like running in the other direction.

"Hi, I'm Hope Mikaelson. I overheard you talking about Daphne and myself."

Lydia's quick wit and sarcasm kicked in faster than her mind could process Allison's earlier warning. "You overheard me, on a private phone call from over 25 metres away? Really? That's what you're going with?"

"It it when I know that you are aware of the supernatural and superhearing is a normal ability for a Werewolf to have." Hope replied with a smug smile.

The blonde shook her head slightly at Hope's antics. "I apologise on behalf of my darling idiot. She likes causing chaos. It's basically her bread and butter. My name is Daphne Greengrass."

The strawberry blonde girl almost swooned at Daphne's British accent, it was undoubtedly sexy and Lydia would love to listen to Daphne speak. Hell, she truly believed that Daphne could make the dictionary sound interesting.

Allison's voice called out through the phone. "Hope, Daphne. Don't hurt my friend, otherwise I will never speak to you again."

Hope originally looked offended towards the blonde for a moment until she heard ravenette's voice whereas Daphne looked around in confusion, wondering where Allison's voice was coming from.

Lydia observed the blonde's actions with a stunned expression.

"We never had any plans on harming any of your friends Allison. I didn't even expect to run into any of your friends until school started up." Hope replied before noticing her girlfriend's confusion.

The girl's locked eyes for a moment, almost like they were communicating with their eyes. Both Daphne and Hope turned simultaneously and looked directly into Lydia's hand where her phone was sitting. Then they turned back to one another, Daphne looked angry and Hope winced.

"Well… With that surprisingly mild threat rather than shooting a bunch of arrows into them like you did Derek's Pack, I'm going to let you go now Ally. You better come see me the moment you get back, afterall you did promise me you'd spend the day with me. Chao." Lydia quickly blurted out much to Hope, Daphne and Allison's surprise, hanging up on the older girl before she could make a reply.

Dark brown eyes blinked in shock as she stared down at her phone. After a moment of annoyance Allison redialed her friend but the call immediately went to voicemail making the Huntress groan. "Damn it Lydia."

"How the hell did they manage to get to California in less than 2 hours? It's roughly a 15 hour flight including all the connecting flights from Marseille and an 11 hour flight from Paris to Los Angeles!" Chris pointed out as he made his way back around the car to the driver's side and hopped into the car with a tired heave.

Allison threw her hands up in the air wondering if that was a rhetorical question or not.

"How would I know? You're the one with more supernatural knowledge than me." The ivory-skinned girl hopped into the car as she worried over her friend's well-being with the two apparent universal travellers.

Argent sighed as he shook his head. "I'm ridiculously tired, so we're going to stay at a hotel. Once I've rested enough we will head back home collect our stuff then catch the first flight back to Beacon Hills."

Allison's eyes widened as she buckled up her seatbelt. "We're heading back to Beacon Hills early?"

Chris groaned in defeat. "Unfortunately yes, I can't in good conscious, let two unknown, powerful supernatural creatures roam around Beacon Hills without being evaluated to see what dangers they pose to society. We don't know what they are capable of or what their intentions are."

Allison smiled widely as she faced to look out the window as she didn't want her father to know how happy she was to learn that she gets to return back to Beacon Hills faster than expected. The Huntress knew how upset her father would get if she decided to mention the one intention she recalled Hope and Daphne would more than likely follow through with.

Getting to know her and building a relationship with their new Soulmate they have been dying to meet. Literally.

Allison couldn't stop the snort at the inappropriate pun causing Chris to look at her like she was slowly losing her mind or maybe he was in his sleep deprived state.

Hope huffed in amusement as she watched Lydia turn off her phone after hanging up to their soulmate. The Tribrid was in complete bewilderment at Lydia's actions, from what she recalled Lydia is impulsive but she's also brilliant.

The girl from the ' Teen Wolf ' universe may already have a plan up her sleeve and to be quite honest Hope was curious to know what the strawberry blonde will do now.

Lydia pursed her lips a little uneasily as she looked over the two beautiful women.

"I really hope that Allison's little threat for not talking to either of you again will keep you both civilised enough for us to have an honest conversation while you tell me everything you know about the supernatural community." The strawberry blonde practically demanded from the two girls as she folded her arms across her chest defensively.

Daphne chuffed lightly as a rare smile crossed her face.

Hope smirked as she tilted her head to the side. "That depends on which supernatural creatures you would like to learn about. Because from what I could tell Allison didn't exactly have the time to tell you about us yet."

"What does that have to do with anything?" Lydia frowned at the brunette still not understanding what it is that she wasn't privy to and it was starting to frustrate her.

Hope bobbed her head and clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth as she realised that they would have to explain. "Just that neither Daph nor I are from this universe. Daphne's from the Harry Potter universe and according to Allison, I'm from The Vampire Diaries universe and I know this universe as the Teen Wolf universe. That's 3 very different and distinct versions of supernatural beings. You'll need to be specific on what you want to know Lydia."

Lydia's bright green eyes widened as her mouth dropped open in shock. "You're telling me that the multiverse is real… Hang on, how do you know my name? I never told you."

Hope scratched the back of her head awkwardly as she opened and closed her mouth a couple of times before sighing, understanding that the truth was probably the best way to go. "I could give some bullshit excuse but there's two reasons why I know your name. The first being, I overheard Allison say your name. I have very acute superhearing, I heard your entire phone call."

Just to show off Hope made a show of glancing back to the store Lydia had exited only a few minutes ago. "I can hear the sales representative from that shop over there, where you got one of your bags of shopping from, saying how much she despises her job and she only got it to pay for her to go to college. I'm also sorry to state that she finds you annoying even though she is waving to you with a fake smile on her face, just waiting for you to leave while calling you a 'rich bitch'."

Lydia blinked a few times as she was facing the shop Hope pointed out watching as the woman in the window spoke to another woman next to her as she waved in Lydia's direction. Hope literally spoke the words happening from nearly 50 metres away, from inside the shop with the doors closed firmly for the night.

"Okay… Now even I have to admit that's damn impressive. What's the other reason?" Lydia remarked, internally shrugging off the derogatory comments from the receptionist of one of her favourite shops.

"As I said earlier, this universe, your universe, I am aware of because it's a TV show in my universe. I know the players and some of the events that happen over the next couple of years and I know what has happened since Allison arrived in Beacon Hills. So I know who you are Lydia Martin." Hope answered the other girl's curiosity.

The strawberry blonde waited a moment as she asked in a no nonsense tone. "Are you going to tell me what's going to happen in my universe?"

"No." The Tribrid answered immediately.

"Change too much too quickly and I can't use my future knowledge to alter events slightly in the future to provide a better outcome rather than throw a spanner in the machine and hope it still works. Although, Fate doesn't like being played. Fate will fight back to keep the timeline as close as possible to the original timeline." Hope tried to explain without trying to sound like a heartless bitch.

Lydia made a disgruntled face but unfortunately for her she was able to follow along with the other girl's explanation and understood her reasons for keeping the knowledge to herself.

"Otherwise Fate will create alternate problems, paradoxes and/or enemies to replace those you've changed. As much as it annoys me that you either can't or won't tell me about my world's future, I understand that you can't just simply change whatever the hell you want. But then again, why would you even bother changing events in this world?" Lydia continued on with the explanation but still curious on the part that these two were supposed to play now that they are in this universe.

"The same reason why Hope altered events in my universe. One of her soulmates exists in this world and she wants the best possible life for her." Daphne answered in a soft voice as she shared a loving glance to the brunette beside her.

"... Allison." Lydia theorised as she stared blankly past the two girls, her mind working at a mile a minute to put the pieces together.

Both Hope and Daphne were a little surprised that Lydia was able to figure out who their soulmate was so quickly but the Tribrid shrugged it off just as fast. Hope knew that Lydia was a lot smarter than a majority of the Witches and Wizards from Daphne's world.

The Pack here also dismisses Lydia's intelligence a lot during this period between Allison arriving to Beacon Hills and Jennifer trying to kill her as they thought that she was originally too vain and stupid except for Stiles, then they didn't trust her due to Peter manipulating her Banshee abilities without her consent and making her seem mental.

Lydia tapped her fingers on the roof of her car as she filed away her thoughts. What appeared to be an invisible bird whistling broke Lydia out of her trance as she looked around for the loud noise that seemingly came from right in front of her.

"Oh that was Alexandria. I'll introduce her to you once we're not in the middle of a street with dozens of people watching a bird the size of an eagle appear out of thin air." Hope answered with a small shrug of her shoulders and a mischievous smirk that Lydia was quickly familiarising herself with.

"Wait, what?" Lydia questioned as she looked around the two girls for the large bird Hope alluded to having close by.

"You know what, never mind. Do you have anywhere you need to be? I want to pick your brains for a while. No one here is telling me anything." The strawberry blonde shook off her previous thought as she opened the driver's side door as she motioned from the girls to her car with expectant eyes.

Hope turned to her wife as she spoke telepathically with Daphne. " Do you want to talk to Lydia now? Or are you too tired? Since you know, you did come back from the dead a few hours ago. "

" You're not going to let that joke go anytime soon are you? " Daphne sighed exasperatedly back through their soul link and she received a resounding 'no' in response.

"Actually, would it be possible to meet up tomorrow to continue this conversation, only if you are free, of course? Hope and I have had a pretty long day… Met up with our ex in France, got attacked by an enemy from Hope's universe, we were transported across time and space, I died and was resurrected like 5 hours later, we met our soulmate, Allison, then we came to Beacon Hills, where I've only just found out that we will be going back to school after both Hope and I tested ahead and completed school with flying colours." Daphne offered with a fair amount of annoyance and tiredness in her tone.

Lydia could tell that the Brit's frustration wasn't directed at her rather the situation she found herself in. "... Right… Any chance you'll share that story with me?"

Hope and Daphne glanced at each other and shrugged. "We can tell you if you really want to know. Just not tonight. Good night Lydia." The blonde offered as she linked elbows with Hope.

"Good night Lydia. When and where would you like to meet up tomorrow?" Hope queried the Beacon Hills genius as she wrapped her arm around Daphne's waist, dislodging Alexandria from the Tribrid's shoulder.

"How about around 9 in the morning? At my house? If you happen to get lost just ask anyone where my house is and they will be able to help you." Lydia answered as she stepped into the car, closing the door behind her with a slam.

Daphne jumped at the sound of the car's engine starting up as she readied herself for a fight. The Tribrid chuckled as she moved behind her wife, wrapping her other arm around the Ice Witch's waist before resting her chin on Daphne's shoulder. "Relax love. I know that you didn't come into contact with many cars in your world, but that rumbling sound is completely normal for a car."

Hope waved distractedly in Lydia's direction before replacing her hand back on Daphne's clothed stomach as she rubbed soothing circles to calm her lover down from her fight response.

Daphne sighed as she subconsciously released the tension in her muscles and leaned back against her Werewolf heater.

"Why do I have this strange sensation that I'm going to look like the odd one out in this universe? I mean you've taught me about some bits and pieces about the technology in my world but even I can tell, these cars around us look much more sleek and advanced than in my time. Then there was that communication thing that Lydia was using…" Daphne complained before trailing off as she didn't know the name of the small contraption Lydia was using.

The girls watched as Lydia drove away in her blue Toyota Prius C. Alexandria was hovering above Hope and Daphne for a few moments before turning back and forth between the car and her magical companions.

The Thunderbird made a small whistle, almost like a sigh as she angled her wings and used more force to follow after the car. Realising through Hope's emotions and the memories that have bled through, this girl was more than likely going to be important to her Familiar in the near future.

"A mobile phone. Still a little primitive to what I'm used to, but I'll probably get one for myself and one for you. I'll teach you how to use it before we start school. Trust me when I say, we would look very out of place without a phone." Hope interjected as to finish Daphne's sentence as she slowly started edging her blonde soulmate back towards the hotel.

Daphne hummed in agreement before shifting so she could turn to level a partial glare towards the Tribrid. "Also we're going back to school?"

Hope pursed her lips. "If we want to spend time with Allison, then yes."

The brunette rolled her sea-blue eyes as there was a growl in the back of her throat. "How do you think I feel? This will be the third school I'll be enrolling in and I've completed both schooling with outstanding marks… Or at least I'm fairly certain I did well in my first school."

The Slytherin Ice Queen let out a huff of amusement. "Oh please. If you didn't get full marks at your previous school then it's because Alaric screwed you over. You are too smart for your own good sometimes."

Hope smiled slightly at the praise that didn't come from fighting or magic but rather for her intelligence which is normally overlooked constantly. "Thank you."

"… Hang on, do I even have that certificate from the Salvatore School? I asked Alaric to erase me completely from the school records… God bloody damn it!" Hope whined as threw her head back in annoyance, swearing towards the sky.

The Ice Witch had to pull up all her Occlumency training in order not to laugh at her fiance's frustration.

However, Daphne had felt her wife's genuine gratitude at the acknowledgement of her intelligence since it was often overlooked due to her immense magical power. Daphne smiled proudly at Hope's academic achievements until a stray thought entered her mind causing a frown to take its place. "Hang on… Did Lydia tell us where she lived?"

Hope stopped whining for a moment as she straightened up her spine as she recalled their conversation with the strawberry blonde. "... No. She didn't."

"Thankfully, Alexandria decided to follow after Lydia, I think she may have felt my concern for her safety this close to a full moon and the enemies I know will be showing up within this school term."

"After Alexandria confirms that Lydia made it home safely, she's going to lightning travel to check on Allison before coming back to us to sleep. My poor baby Thunderbird has had a very long day." The Tribrid cooed lovingly as she held the door open for her wife to enter.

Daphne smiled back at her shorter partner as she entered the hotel, slowing down her pace long enough for Hope to catch up to her.

The Tribrid placed an arm on the blonde's lower back to guide her towards the reception desk.

As Hope and Daphne approached the desk with a middle-aged man standing behind the counter. Both of the girls could scent the arousal and excitement coming off the man in waves. Both of Daphne's Animagus forms growled internally at the attention the man was giving both her and her soulmate whereas Hope was barely containing her need to murder him.

"Hi. We'd like a room for the night?" Hope requested with a fake smile and not a hint of pleasantries that were instilled in her as a child by her mum, Mary, Freya and Keelin, although Nic and Nelle encouraged this behaviour as Hope formed multiple alliances in Daphne's universe with ease.

Unfortunately for the man in front of the Emrys couple, he was a sleazebag and it was obvious to them before he even opened his mouth, instantly disrespecting them.

"For a single night we can offer the room for $175… However I can offer a deal at a discounted rate. If you know what I mean?" The receptionist offered with a wiggle of an eyebrow and suggestive tone.

Hope and Daphne gave the man a deadpanned glare and a single blink before Hope answered in a drawl that Professor Snape would've been proud of. If he cared about that sort of thing, which he most certainly did not, especially when the person in question was Hope Mikaelson. "No. Explicitly and most definitely no."

Hope gazed up in the corners of the room, noticing the video cameras.

The brunette girl narrowed her eyes momentarily as she considered the cameras. They must only have visual and no audio otherwise the sleazeball of a man would never have made them that offer of joining them for a night for a discount.

The Tribrid gave another fake smile as she leaned forward on the desk crossing her arms on the wood, allowing her to get closer to the man. The receptionist did exactly what Hope expected him to do, he copied Hope's position opposite her so he was only inches away from her face.

"Hmm… You're saying one thing yet your body suggests another. Does this mean I have an all access pass?" The man attempted to flirt but it came out sounding disparaging and disgusting to the Witch's ears.

The newly minted Original Tribrid smirked as she leaned a little closer as she allowed her eyes to expand and contract, gaining the receptionist's attention and began to compel him since the new position hid both of their faces from the cameras.

" Not a chance in hell perv. First things' first buddy, you are never going to make this form of sexual corrosion ever again nor will you enter a woman's room without their explicit permission. " Hope compelled him with anger coating her words.

The middle-aged man's eyes glazed over and nodded his head in a slow manner. "I will no longer use the secondary keys of the hotel to enter women's rooms while they are sleeping and having sex with them."

Hope and Daphne blinked nearly simultaneously before the blonde scrunched her nose up in disgust.

Hope gritted her teeth in revulsion as she glared at the man, imagining all the different ways she would like to kill him. " The only reason I'm not going to kill you right now is the fact that I don't want Allison and her father to think that we are murderers straight off the bat. I would normally torture you until I feel as though you've experienced the pain your victims have lived through before ripping you apart into tiny little pieces for rats to feed on. "

" Secondly, you will offer the correct and honest price for the room… Actually, from this moment forth you will live an honest and selfless life. You will endeavour to help anyone in need and you will confess your sinful actions to the police. If you also happen to know anyone else who works here who also rapes any of the customers or offer them the same deal as you just did you will inform and provide evidence to the police. You will not tell a single soul about this conversation in any way, shape or form. Do you understand? " Hope finished her compulsion as she rose back up and took a step back so she was touching Daphne's arm in comfort to calm down.

"I understand." The couple watched as the compulsion took effect and he blinked a few times as the glazed look slowly dissipated from his eyes.

Hope cleared her throat as she reached into her pocket to supply her wallet and pulled out her Goblin debit card linked to the Emrys account back in the Hogwarts universe. "So how much was the room again?"

The man shook his head before apologising. "I apologise. I gave you the wrong price earlier. For a room for a one night stay is $59."

Hope made a displeased noise in the back of her throat as she already knew that the price for the hotel was way too high for a room in the middle of a backtown county in a no-named town that only the Supernatural would have a reason to visit.

The Tribrid expected that the cost for the room would be similar to that of Mystic Falls.

In 2030, the price was $79 but that is due to the price increases over the last couple of decades. The only reason Hope was aware of some of the public recommendations was due to the fact that since her father, Niklaus, made his appearance in Mystic Falls in 2010, announcing him and his family as a member of the 'Founding Families'.

The youngest Mikaelson watched as the man punched the amount into the machine before turning it around to face the brunette as he reached behind himself to grab a key. Hope sighed as she flipped her card a few times as her nerves were getting the better of her as she hoped that her card would work in this universe.

If it worked it would make life a lot easier, being able to buy all the necessities they would need for the house, bills, groceries, maybe a car, the phones and all their art supplies.

Daphne could feel Hope's worry and anxiety through their bond as she placed her card against the card machine, holding her breath. The blonde Witch sent waves of comfort and calmness to her wife, letting her know that even if the card doesn't work the Original could always just compel him the room.

Hope nearly jumped out of her skin when the beep blared out of the machine.

"Excellent! Here's the room to your key. Please note that you will need to vacate the premises by 10am otherwise we will have to charge you for another day." The man announced as he offered up the key to the couple.

The Tribrid appeared stunned but thankfully Daphne was able to collect the proffered key from the reformed attendant.

"Thank you. We'll most likely be gone by 9am. Do we just leave the key with you or leave it on the desk if there is no one at the counter?" The blonde Slytherin asked as she took Hope's stoic arm and gave a light pull, causing Hope to move along with Daphne's movement.

"Either is fine. The room is on the left and is 5 doors down. Room 110. Have a nice night." The man called out as the couple turned the corner.

Daphne had to slowly guide Hope towards the room labelled on both the key and the door. The blonde Witch rolled her eyes as she whispered a spell on the door. " Alohomora ."

Unlike Hope, Daphne wasn't able to perform every spell wordlessly or wandlessly without some difficulty. Daphne had to prioritise which spells she wanted to be able to use with ease. Which turned out to be any form of magic including ice, telekinesis with both summoning and banishing charms, apparation, privacy spells, the disillusionment charm as well as creating and maintaining proximity wards.

These spells came in great handy for the Ice Witch, 3 forms of privacy and protection, one for ease of access and her affinity for ice is offensive and defensive in multiple ways while the last was a great form of egress.

The other spells, like Alohomora , could wait until Daphne had more time and patience to learn more spells. But for now the blonde used her abilities to erect strong privacy wards around the room while incorporating Hope and Freya's privacy spell from their world into the room.

After Daphne placed her protections around the room she moved her wife's partially unresponsive body over to the bed and forced her to sit down.

"I know you're in shock darling but come on. Magic works in mysterious ways and let's face it. Merlin is a known legend in most worlds and you are one of his descendants." Daphne mentioned as she shrugged half-heartedly before kneeling between Hope's knees with her hands gripped tightly on her knees.

"It makes sense that you can access his account in any universe. I'm not sure if you are using your family money from this universe or mine but in any case at least we're not poor… So how do we go about getting a house here in this little town?" Daphne asked in an attempt to get Hope talking again as she knew Hope liked to take command of their safety.

Hope blinked a couple of times as she looked down at her Mate with a secondary stunned expression before frowning. "You know what… I'm just going to ignore how I'm able to access the Emrys family trust and just accept that I can use it. As for the house, since we are meeting up with Lydia at 9 in the morning I would suggest we start looking around for places on sale during our run in the morning… that is if you planned on joining me for a run tomorrow morning?"

Daphne leaned forward as she placed more pressure on Hope's knees, moving forward as she whispered against her lips. "I always do, despite my complaining."

Hope chuckled quietly with a little smirk as she reached out to cup Daphne's face to press a loving kiss against her lips as her hands began to travel under Daphne's shirt to play with the soft skin there.

The blonde broke the kiss as she felt a small complaint in the back of her mind. Hope's face mirrored the same confused expression that was on her wife's face. "I assume that wasn't you."

"Nope." Hope answered her wife's query.

Both girls immediately froze up as the same thought crossed their minds at the same time. "Allison."

" Hello again Allison. Did we disturb you with our strong emotions? " Hope thought across their collective soul link between the three soulmates.

Hope and Daphne felt Allison's shock at the mental communication and the quick emotion of surprise and guilt at the Tribrid's interaction with her.

It took Allison a few moments to reply back to Hope although it sounded like the ravenette was whispering. " How are you doing that? "

" We're soulmates love. " Hope informed Allison who just scoffed much to Hope and Daphne's slight annoyance but the Emrys couple could understand the Huntress' reluctance.

" You may not agree but this connection shows that we are connected in an impossible and near unexplainable way. If you can tell me how this conversation is possible from nearly halfway around the world and how you can feel our emotions as well, I'm all ears my beautiful Huntress. " Hope remarked as calmly as she could, not wishing to anger Allison by forcing this soulbond on her.

Daphne snorted at the near visible eye roll that Allison managed to showcase from her displeasure with the moniker Hope had given her.

" Please don't call me that again. I don't think that we are close enough for that form of endearment, Miss Mikaelson. " Allison continued whispering to them through their bond.

The blonde frowned as she announced herself for the first time in her soulmate's minds. " Just out of curiosity Allison, but why are you whispering? "

" ... Because I'm talking to the two of you and my father is no more than 5 metres away finally catching up on some sleep. " Allison answered in a quiet yet obvious tone of voice.

Hope helped Daphne up off the ground before standing up herself as they listened to the Huntress' reply and smooshed their lips together to avoid laughing.

The blonde was the first to recover as she felt Allison's annoyance. " Allison, you don't need to speak aloud when you talk to us through the bond. It's a telepathic bond. Just direct your thoughts towards us and imagine yourself speaking to us… Also you don't need to shout. Just a precaution. I don't particularly want a headache after coming back to life. "

There was silence on all three sides of the bond at the last acknowledgement made by Daphne until Allison replied slowly. " Uh… Okay? Can you make me a promise since you plan on staying in Beacon Hills for the foreseeable future? "

Hope and Daphne locked eyes with one another before answering as honestly as they could. " So long as this promise doesn't endanger us or you, we will do our best to refrain from breaking any promises we make with you, Allison. "

Since all three members of the soulmate trio were focused completely on their bond, talking to one another, it was easier to sense what the others were feeling. Hope was the first to realise that Allison was remarkably moved by their admission.

Daphne could tell that Allison was fidgeting with something, most likely an arrow from the sharp graze across the pad of her thumb as though she was checking the sharpness of one of her arrowheads.

" Lydia had called me back after she left you two. I understand that you're going to see her tomorrow and explain either your presence in this universe or the supernatural creatures… I don't know which, she just seemed excited to learn about what's happening. "

"Anyway what I'm trying to get at is… Please don't hurt her. Lydia's been through so much. She doesn't deserve to be used as a pawn. Potentially against me. Becoming her friend to get closer to me. If you did that I'd rather shoot an arrow through your hearts instead. " Allison informed the pair while they were cleaning the room and enlarging the small double bed so they could both fit comfortably.

Hope collapsed on the bed with a bounce and looked up to the ceiling with a sigh. " Allison. This is a promise that I can make without any malice. I know Lydia from my memories. I know what's happened to her and what is to come. "

"You are right. Lydia has been through a lot and I'm not going to add being interrogated by a Tribrid from The Vampire Diaries universe and a very powerful Witch with a natural ice affinity from the Hogwarts universe to the list of outlandish things that has happened to that poor girl. I just want to help her, Allison. " Hope answered telepathically as she shuffled on the bed so her head was resting on the pillow.

Daphne joined her, resting her head on Hope's shoulder comfortably as she threw her arm over the brunette's smaller frame, hugging the older girl close.

" Basically, the thing about Lydia is the more knowledge she possesses, the more she is able to help you and the Beacon Hills pack from oncoming threats. Lydia is exceptionally brilliant and consequential. " Hope admitted.

" If there's any way that I can help you by helping her all while making a friend. I'd call that a win-win in my book. I'll do whatever I can to keep her safe. As Daph and I mentioned before, we don't have any interest in harming Lydia or your friends. " Hope explained for the Huntress so the ravenette would have an understanding of Hope's thoughts and through the bond Allison could sense the honesty thrumming throughout the soul link.

Daphne took this gap to offer her thoughts to Allison to show she wasn't ignoring her. " I don't know Lydia like you or Hope does. But what I do know is how much you care about her and Hope's innate sense to judge people. Both of these things put together, tells me that she is someone that I would like to know and become friends with… So long as Lydia would like to accept our friendship, I'd be more than honoured to be her friend. "

" ... Okay. Thank you. Both of you. That actually takes a large weight off my chest. Why do I suddenly feel tired even though I'm not remotely tired? " Allison let out a breath of relief as a stray thought crossed her mind.

" Soulbond… You'll get used to it in time. " Both of the magical users replied instantly.

However Hope expanded on her answer a little. " Daph and I are just about to nod off which in turn is making you tired as well. If you want to chat like this again just remember to focus your thoughts on us. Or just one of us if you want to talk privately you can do that too… "

Hope considered her next sentence as she tightened her grip around Daphne's waist.

Daphne kissed Hope's neck as she closed her ice-coloured eyes as she murmured aloud for Hope to hear. "Tell her darling. She deserves to know what she's able to do with the bond but I need a nap. Good night, Hope."

" Good night, Allison. " Daphne sleepily portrayed across their bond.

" ... Night Daphne. " Allison replied after a beat as she looked outside at the slowly rising sun from her hotel window before recalling that they were in L.A. with Lydia, Scott and Stiles.

" I can still answer some more questions if you still have any." Hope suggested, keeping the conversation alive.

" I apologise for my hesitance from earlier. If you not busy in about 11 hours when we talk to Lydia, if you want to, Daph or I can keep our link open so you can use it to eavesdrop on the conversation if you wish or if you are good at meditation, then you may be able to sight-share with one of us. Basically seeing what the other sees. " Hope offered freely as she had nothing to hide from Allison except for the vision of the archer's death.

" Does this mean that you can do this with me whenever you want? " Allison blurts out indigently and slightly offended at the thought.

" ... Yes, but we won't. It's an invasion of your privacy and we would never violate you or your trust. Once you arrive back in the states Daph and I will teach you how to put up mental walls to keep us out if you so wish. " Hope admitted before quickly following up with assurances that she wouldn't abuse this ability.

Hope felt Allison's surprise as she replied softly. " You'd teach me how to block you out of my mind? "

" Of course. Daph and I learned how to block one another out. It's only fair that you should learn how to block us out if you need to or want to. " Hope responded just as softly.
