chapter 13

It's been nearly a week since the full moon and shockingly enough, Hope and Daphne haven't been hunted down by Scott or Stiles yet for some answers. Although they did ask Allison and Lydia about them again, however, the girls just kept telling the two boys to speak to the newcomers themselves instead of pestering them about Hope and Daphne.

Allison and Lydia were starting to trust the Emrys couple more and more after the conversations that they had with Hope and Daphne respectively last week.

Allison always wanted to be able to protect herself, so that night, she had Hope apparate her to her car and drove back to Hope and Daphne's place, staying the night in the spare bedroom that Lydia had recuperated in.

The Huntress sent a message to her dad that she was at her soulmate's home and would be staying the night. What Allison didn't mention to her father was that she was going to use this opportunity to start training with Hope and Daphne over the weekend.

The scene at the swimming pool was Lydia's last straw.

When the strawberry blonde woke up the next morning she asked Daphne if she could start training her as she wanted to learn how to control her powers. Perhaps even save a life instead of being there for the bloody aftermath each time.

Lydia wanted to make a difference and the time-travelling pair was willing to teach her.

Due to the late night that both pairs of girls experienced that night/morning they didn't get up until midday. Hope was going through some sets of warm ups with the Huntress when Daphne and Lydia entered the training room.

Instead of starting again, Daphne took Lydia over to the other side of the enchanted garage and started taking the Banshee through some warm ups of her own.

Hope was aware that Allison believed that she could take on a Werewolf as she was basically born to fight and hunt Werewolves. The Tribrid knew that the ravenette wouldn't actually learn anything from her until Hope could prove that she was more skilled than the Huntress.

So against Daphne's mental grumbling about embarrassing their soulmate during their first fight and that she wouldn't come back if she was humiliated. It was a chance that Hope had to take.

The brunette Tribrid decided to banter with Allison as she was curious to know what her answers would be. "I am curious love, how do you plan on taking on a Werewolf without any of your weapons?"

Allison smirked as she flicked out her ring daggers with a twirl. "Who said I was unarmed."

Hope smiled, nodding her head in acceptance. "Fair enough. I was actually going to mention that you should always have a weapon on hand but it seems I've already been beaten to the punch."

Daphne and Lydia were in the middle of a water break watching the dark haired pair as Lydia wasn't used to this much exercise but both Witches assured her that she will get better in time. Lydia made a bet that Allison would win. Daphne remained silent on the bet however she did shout out to Allison that the bond would allow them to spar, not brutally injure one another.

Allison blinked as she faced Daphne. "Wait… Is that why I couldn't shoot any more arrows towards the Werewolves the other night? Because the bond stopped me from blinding Hope?"

"Yeah." Daphne replied with a half-hearted shrug.

"Huh." Allison remarked as she turned back to Hope.

Lydia was frowning as she called over to Hope. "Hang on, before Allison kicks your ass. Hope? You mentioned always having a weapon on hand. Does this apply to you as well?"

Hope's sea-blue eyes skirted over to the strawberry blonde as she moved her right hand to her hip and unsheathed a deadly looking bone dagger with a malicious grin while ignoring Lydia's first comment. "Of course it does. I also have a sword strapped to my back as well."

Allison's eyebrows rose as she didn't think that a Werewolf would need any physical weapons as their bodies are their own weapons: fangs, claws, strength and speed.

However instead of keeping the dagger out to fight Allison with Hope returned the dagger back to its sheath on Hope's right hip. "Except for this instant I don't want to fight with weapons as I want to get an accurate baseline to see how much both of you know. That way I can see where we can improve."

Lydia tilted her head to the side. " We? "

"Absolutely. Something that I've always taken to heart from my lessons with the Goblin Nation, Flitwick and my Aunt Freya is that there is always more knowledge to learn. I've learnt from Witches, Werewolves, Vampires and Goblins… I suppose I should also add Alaric into this list. He did teach me how to fight, even if it was a way to control me. But I haven't learnt from a Werewolf Hunter from a different universe." Hope admitted wholeheartedly with a smile as Daphne bobbed her head in agreement knowing that Hope was being truthful and honest with the pair.

At these words Allison blinked and allowed her muscles to relax slightly as she lost some of her competitiveness. The Huntress was sure that the Werewolves in this town as well as her father thought that she was weak and couldn't protect herself. She always felt coddled by her father and Scott. Even Derek didn't seem to consider her a true threat after she shot dozens of arrows into his Pack and cut up Isaac with her daggers.

This thought offended the Huntress severely.

"In that case, I won't be using these until later. Are you going to use your abilities to help you?" Allison decided to return her daggers back into their sheaths behind her back.

"I will do my best not to use my powers. However this will be my first attempt after completing my transition into a Tribrid to contain my abilities and fight like a human so I may screw up and if I do, I'm sorry in advance." Hope replied as she settled herself into a loose fighting stance which the ravenette copied.

With a quick smirk between the pair Allison launched a set of quick strikes that Hope dodged out of the way of, unless they were too close and the brunette needed to block the punches and kicks. However Hope didn't stay on the defensive as she wanted to prove that she wasn't treating the Huntress with kiddie gloves

Allison didn't disappoint her as she blocked each strike and tried to turn Hope's own momentum against her.

The Tribrid smirked, realising that Allison knew how to fight against stronger opponents. "I know what you are doing."

"I gathered that. What I wasn't expecting was that you fight elusively. I figured with your strength you would fight head-to-head." Allison remarked as performed a fast leg sweep that Hope stepped back to dodge.

"Most of my training was done by Goblins who are shorter and more aggressive than me so I needed to be smarter and faster, kind of like what you are doing now." Hope shared as she sent out her own leg sweep that Allison jumped over a little awkwardly, not expecting that attack from the Werewolf.

Hope pressed her advantage from the Huntress' stumble and gripped one of Allison's wrists, her left one as she used it to pull the other girl towards the wall. Since Allison couldn't regain her balance after the leg sweep she didn't have the stability to prevent herself from moving with the Tribrid's strong pull.

The Tribrid used her body to hold Allison against the wall, Hope pressed her free hand firmly against Allison's right shoulder blade blocking the Huntress from turning around.

"But Professor Flitwick was our Duelling mentor and in Wizarding Duels we are taught to duck and weave out of the way. Keep up our endurance so we can outlast our opponents while they deplete themselves of their magical core. Unfortunately for Wizards and Witches, they rarely kept up with their physical exercises so they didn't last very long." Hope shrugged nonchalantly as she released Allison after a few moments as she didn't want to terrify Allison by forcibly holding her soulmate against a wall.

Allison gritted her teeth as she rested against the wall until her heart settled down after being placed in a compromising position by a Werewolf who wasn't even using her strength or speed.

Hope waited patiently for Allison to turn around and remained completely silent, knowing full well that gloating over this would hinder any relationship that Hope and Daphne were trying to build with Allison.

Allison turned around with an annoyed glare directed at Hope as she allowed her anger to get the better of her. However Hope felt Allison's emotions and simply ran over to the other side of the room with her Vampire speed.

Lydia blinked at Hope's sudden appearance beside her as Allison just missed her right hook heading towards Hope. Daphne looked indifferent at the whole thing but moved forward to take Hope's place, hoping that a different face would snap her out of her anger.

"Allison, calm down. You can be angry that you lost against Hope but don't allow this to cloud your judgement. This is just a spar, not a true fight. All we want to do is teach you what we know and alternatively learn whatever you are willing to teach us. This is just a learning exercise, darling." Daphne spoke calmly as she dodged Allison's frustrated attack while keeping herself between her Huntress and her Werewolf soulmates.

"Allison?" Lydia cautiously called out as she wrapped her arms around one of Hope's arms in concern for her best friend's state of mind.

Daphne sighed a little as she apparated behind Allison and wrapped her arms securely around the ravenette, encasing the other girl in an arctic chill as she slightly lifted the other girl off the ground.

The sudden drop in temperature immediately brought Allison out of her angry frame of mind. Allison shivered for a moment until the Ice Witch regulated the chill to something utterly relaxing and pleasant that the younger girl became completely pliant in Daphne's hold.

"Ally. Just relax and breathe. Okay? If you were fighting any other Werewolf in Beacon Hills and they weren't using their powers you'd win in a hand to hand fight, hand's down. You're already using the right fighting style against a Wolf. But Hope's not just any Wolf." The blonde spoke slowly as she took Allison through some breathing exercises while cradling the other girl against her chest.

"Hope's the Queen of the Werewolves and a Tribrid to boot. Not to mention, that she has had training from one of the best, if not the best, warring and battle strategic nations in my world and named a Warrior after only 2 weeks of actual training with them."

"Hope's been training for this since her parents died nearly 7 years ago and she learned that she needed to protect herself since her Aunts and Uncles weren't going to do it while they were grieving for their brother." Daphne informed the Huntress who had calmed down considerably in the Ice Witch's hold.

By this stage Daphne decided that Hope would train Lydia until the Banshee was ready to use her Scream but first they were going to build up the strawberry blonde's endurance by having her run each morning. Lydia almost took back her request to learn how to use her powers until the memory of that poor boy in the lifeguard seat entered her mind again.

Lydia only sighed as she begrudgingly nodded her head. Hope and Daphne told Lydia that she didn't need to keep pace with them but to keep running, jogging or walking for as long as she could for an hour and a half. Once Lydia could run 10 miles in this time period Hope promised to make something magical to celebrate the occasion.

Allison pouted as she said that she could already run 10 miles in under an hour and a half, in fact she could do it in an hour and a quarter.

Hope rolled her eyes good naturedly as she stated that she already had something in mind for Allison but she needed more time to put it together. Although Hope did encourage the ravenette to see if she could do the 10 mile run in an hour for a personal goal.

Which is the only reason why both Allison and Lydia had joined the school cross country this morning along with Hope, Daphne, Scott, Isaac and the Alpha Twins. Since running competitively was new for the Banshee she told Hope and Daphne that she would do this run in the morning before school once every couple of days.

Hope and Daphne agreed but asked the brilliant girl to review herself in a month to see if she'd like to run more frequently.

Allison let out a huge yawn before the race as she spent most of last night mentally talking with Daphne about different fighting styles that the blonde learned in her universe.

Hope pouted at this initially until Daphne pointed out that this situation was similar to Lizzie not wanting to learn from the Tribrid. Hope sighed at this before rolling over in bed so she was no longer facing the blonde and fell asleep after mentally offering them both a quiet and reserved ' good night '. Daphne frowned at this hint of sadness from Hope and turned over to wrap a reassuring arm over Hope's waist. The Tribrid's hand covered the top of Daphne's hand, threading her fingers through Daphne's and humming peacefully in content.

Scott and Isaac were speaking in hushed tones for a while until Isaac's entire body locked up as his Werewolf senses picked up the danger that surrounded him. Isaac pulled away from Scott while the Hispanic boy tried to keep Isaac close but the starting gun rang out.

Isaac shot away with impressive speed as he went to catch up to the Alpha Twins out in front.

The girls kept with the majority of the kids but Lydia couldn't help but point out the male Werewolves strange behaviour. "Why do I have a strange feeling that Isaac has some score to settle with the twins?"

Scott darted off directly after the curly haired teenage boy as he tried to catch up with them after sending a pleading look to Allison not to follow.

Allison rolled her eyes in annoyance at that look her ex-boyfriend gave her but she remained with Lydia, Hope and Daphne as she highly doubted that the Alpha Twins would kill Isaac or Scott this close to the school's cross country team and to the school.

"Apparently the twins are a part of an Alpha Pack and they severely hurt Isaac before the start of the school year, at least that's what Scott told me." Allison replied with a huff, not enjoying the feeling of being left out of the supernatural gossip now that her father informed Scott of his decision to walk away from the Hunter life.

"If it helps. Scott just punched Ethan in the jaw… and now they are roaring at each other–." A loud piercing scream interrupted Hope's commentary and the entire student body stopped running along the track and bolted towards the scream.

Lydia however did stop where she was and looked horrified in the direction of where the scream came from. "Oh God! Someone else is dead, aren't they?"

Hope nods and chooses to go towards the scream. Daphne remains with Lydia and starts guiding her back to the school while Allison runs after Hope.

Hope and Allison begin to slow down as they approach the circle of students staring gobsmacked in horror at a tree. They slid their way through one of the cracks in the human circle to witness what the rest of the students already saw and couldn't turn away from the sight in front of them.

A young man tied to a tree with what seemed to be a dog leash around his neck but there was also a large bloodstain trailing down his neck right below a deep gash at the base of his neck.

"A threefold death…" Hope murmured quietly but still gained the attention of Allison and the Werewolves in the vicinity.

"What?" Allison questioned the brunette as she slowly dragged the other girl away from the crowd.

Hope looked around the area noticing all the Werewolves staring in their direction which put Allison on alert as she looked back.

"I'll fill you in later when there aren't so many prying ears listening in." Hope softly spoke as she watched the Sheriff closed off the area.

Hope truly wondered where Stiles came from as he joined Scott and Isaac, scurrying them off further away from the body as Isaac starts blaming the murder on the Alphas, saying that people didn't start dying until they showed up. Stiles quickly pointed out that Hope and Daphne also arrived during the same timeframe and Scott just told him that Hope knew this was a threefold death.

The Tribrid sighed quietly at the allegation. "Stiles and Scott don't seem to trust me and Daph very much, especially Stiles. He's saying that Daph and I could be the killers."

Scott's brown eyes widened as he looked over to Hope and Allison before smacking Stiles on the shoulder and pointing towards the other Werewolf. "She can hear you dude!"

Stiles flinched before turning back to see Hope and gulped awkwardly at being overheard.

"I still think it's them ." Isaac accused the Alpha Twins as his eyes flashed gold in their direction right before Scott pulled him away.

"Scott?" Stiles calls out.

Isaac, thinking that Stiles was going to dispute his claims, also called out to Scott. "How 'bout you?"

Scott awkwardly looks between his two friends, the Alpha Twins and the two girls on the other side of the clearing. "... I don't know, yet."

Stiles' eyes shot over to Scott in disbelief as he managed to pull off a whispered shout of incredulity. "You don't know yet???"

"Well, he's got a point… Seriously, dude? Human sacrifices?" Scott mentioned with an uncertain tone as he would prefer if it was Werewolves, that way he would know what he was up against.

"Scott, your eyes turn into yellow glow-sticks, okay? Hair literally grows from your cheeks and then will immediately disappear and if I were to stab you right now, it would just magically heal, but you're telling me that you're having trouble grasping human sacrifices ???" Stiles scoffs as his hands angrily show his displeasure at being ignored by his best friend.

Scott scrunched up his nose as he turned to face Isaac while sticking his thumb back towards Stiles. "That's a good point too."

Isaac shakes off Scott and Stiles' words as he glares towards the Alphas. "I don't care. They killed that kid. They killed the girl that saved me. I'm gonna kill them too."

Scott sighs as he watches Isaac stride away in a deep seated anger.

"Well, I still think it's them and I'm gonna prove it." Stiles mentions as he levels one of his glares at Hope.

- - -

Allison had fallen asleep in her French class with her substitute teacher, Miss Morrell as the loss of sleep the night before began to catch up to her and she was already fluent in French, so it didn't really bother her.

The Huntress was more concerned about how Stiles was going to question Hope and Daphne. One of the few things Allison has learned about both girls are their triggers that set them off, one of which was obviously bad mouthing any member of their soulbond, their families or Lydia. The ravenette just hopes that Stiles isn't dumb enough to anger the Tribrid and powerful Ice Witch.

Who is she trying to kid? Of course Stiles was going to push their buttons and he'll probably do it during school hours so they can't react like they would like to. However Allison wouldn't put it past her two soulmates to show up at Stiles' home after school or corner him after school to give him a piece of their minds.

This was what Allison had spent the first 10 minutes of her French lesson telepathically arguing with Hope and Daphne not to kill Stiles as he was her friend before falling asleep at her desk.

Allison internally flinched as she felt something hit against her new mental walls, slowly waking the Huntress from her nap right before she heard her mother, her very dead mother, shout at her. "ALLISON!"

The ravenette jolted harshly in her chair as she scanned the room for an attack but noticed Miss Morrell in front of her with a little smirk in the corner of her lips. Hope and Daphne were growling in her mind the longer she stared at the substitute teacher.

" Are you tired? " The mocha-skinned woman taunted the little Huntress in front of her while still using French.

Allison narrowed her eyes slightly at the teacher but was thoroughly embarrassed as she heard the rest of the students laughing at her.

"Sorry…" Allison offered shyly as the bell practically drowned her out.

The rest of the students left the room to head to their next class before lunch but seeing Miss Morrell take a seat in front of Allison had the ravenette slowing down when she packed up her own supplies.

"You're starting to concern me, Allison. Maybe we should chat in the guidance office sometime." Miss Morrell offered with a weird smile.

Hope and Daphne's quiet warning growls in her head were making her even more paranoid about the guidance counsellor. "Or maybe you should tell me what you were doing at the bank the other night."

Miss Morrell raised a singular eyebrow, slightly impressed that Allison would bring that up now. "Maybe you should tell me what you were doing there."

Allison clammed up at this and stared at the guidance counsellor.

"Looks like we have a situation here… Tell you what- Give me the French word for it that's the same in English and you can avoid lunchtime detention." Miss Morrell offered fully aware that she rattled Allison's focus by portraying her mother in a nightmare.

The Huntress lost her composure as she tried to think what the answer was. " Impasse ." Came the combined voices of Hope and Daphne as they gave her the answer and she would have slapped herself in the head if she wasn't in front of the teacher.

"Impasse." Allison responded, fully confident in her answer as she knew Hope and Daphne wouldn't lead her astray like this.

Miss Morrell was shocked that Allison was able to get the correct response as she was about to call out time and give her the detention that the Alpha Pack wanted the young Huntress in as a way to demoralise the members in the Beacon Hills Pack by attacking one of the humans in the Pack.

The substitute teacher just grinned before standing up and shrugging at her. "I lied. You still have detention."

Allison was offended as she watched the substitute teacher walk out of the room. "Bloody woman."

While Allison was packing the rest of her things up as she mentally contacted her simmering soulmates. " Thanks for your help but it was all for naught. Should've known she wouldn't have lived up to her promise… Why are you two still growling? I get that Miss Morrell screwed me over but I don't think it justifies that much anger. "

" That woman entered your mind and used a sensitive memory of yours to shock you awake then had the gall to smirk about it, right in front of you, while we were watching! " Daphne exclaimed and suddenly Allison felt oddly violated by the thought of Miss Morrell entering her mind.

" She entered my mind? Does that mean she's a Witch? Is she the one behind the attacks? " Allison shot off quickfire questions as she hoisted her backpack up onto her shoulders and walked out of the room.

" Yes, not exactly and no. " Hope answered all three questions as she watched Lydia skillfully dodge Aiden's advances while still managing to anger Scott in the process.

However, according to Daphne, Hope intervened on Lydia's behalf when the Alpha wouldn't leave the strawberry blonde alone, earning Hope a growl from the red-eyed Alpha that the Tribrid shrugged off with ease as she pulled Lydia away from the volatile Alpha Werewolf.

The next period passed by without any dramas for the Huntress but unfortunately she still had detention to serve at lunch and was one of the first students there. She took a seat and waited for everyone else to enter. There were four others in the room when Mr Harris walked into the room and Allison internally groaned at the choice of teacher.

The door to the classroom opened once more to reveal Isaac causing the Huntress to look away in shame due to her actions against him a few months ago. Allison is absently listening to Mr Harris as he partners up the six students into pairs and of course she got Isaac. That would be her luck.

Allison and Isaac begrudgingly worked together as they grabbed the supplies they needed to restock the janitor's closet.

It didn't take very long for Allison to pick up on Isaac's fear and a sliver of guilt went through her heart at the thought of it being her that was stressing the young Werewolf out.

"Are you okay?" Allison softly asked.

Isaac glances back at the Huntress who stabbed him repeatedly and shook his head. "Yeah. Yeah. I'm just… Not a fan of small spaces…"

A flash of a freezer locker entered Allison's mind and the ravenette shivered.

"Can I ask you a question?" Allison offered as a way to take Isaac's mind off of the small room.

Isaac scoffs a little. "Do you have to?"

Allison wanted to be respectful to Isaac's wishes but now that she's opened up the enquiry she now wanted an answer to the question in her head but shrugged half-heartedly. "I guess not… But I'm gonna ask anyway. Did you tell anyone that I was at the school the other night?"

The Huntress knew Isaac saw her and Hope in her Wolf form but she didn't know what Isaac made of the experience.

Isaac faced Allison as his eyebrows rose in surprise. "Oh… Was I supposed to?"

The Huntress let out a little sigh of relief as she silently replied. "It would make me really happy if you didn't as I've already told my dad I was at a friend's house that night."

The blonde curly haired boy scoffed in disbelief. "Yeah, well, you being happy isn't a big priority of mine since you stabbed me. Twenty times. With knives."

Allison pursed her lips and as her cheeks heated with embarrassment as she corrected him. "They were actually Chinese ring daggers, but-."

"Oh." Isaac cut her off before she could say she won't ever use those daggers again but she doesn't think Isaac really cares about that at this moment.

"Sorry."

The teenage Werewolf was a little dumbfounded as he heard the Huntress apologise. "Was that– Was that an apology?"

Allison huffs at the amusement in the other boy's tone. "Would you accept an apology?"

Isaac actually looked a little shocked at that question as he fully considered it. "Uh…"

The Werewolf was interrupted as the door that led outside shut with a loud bang surprising both occupants within the small janitor's closet.

Isaac was quick to the door as he struggled with the door handle, trying to open it but the handle wouldn't budge.

"...Uh. Maybe it is locked from the outside?" Allison offered gently as she watched Isaac slowly start to lose control of his emotions as Isaac continuously tried to ram his shoulder into the door in an effort to open the wooden door.

"No. There's something against it." Isaac growled out as he started punching the door in his newest attempt to get out of this confined room.

Allison jumped back at the anger surrounding the Werewolf as she kept her voice as calm as she could while Isaac pounded at the door repeatedly that it was starting to frighten Allison.

Allison moved back in fear as Isaac's eyes glowed with fangs and claws making an appearance. Isaac growled at her and Allison was ever-so tempted to pull out her daggers but she couldn't force herself to defend herself against Isaac as she's already sliced and diced him before. Allison didn't want to make the same mistake again.

Before the Werewolf could advance any further on Allison, the door was ripped open and Isaac went flying out the door revealing a rather pissed off Hope Mikaelson. Daphne was quick through the door after Hope and immediately went to Allison to check on her.

Scott was a few moments behind as he watched Isaac struggle to pull himself up the wall he was launched into. The brown eyed Werewolf was more than surprised to see the massive crack in the wall from where he assumed Isaac hit.

Hope's eyes were glowing gold as she stared down the Werewolves and placed herself smackbang in the middle of the doorway, acting as an impenetrable blockade between the Wolves and her Soulmates.

Isaac was roaring in Hope's direction which snapped Scott out of his concern for Allison in this moment as he turned to Isaac and pushed him against the same wall Hope had thrown him into and and roared his name. "ISAAC!!!"

Isaac blinked as the gold in Isaac's irises faded away into blue and shook his head as he glanced past Scott and Hope to see Allison looking at him wide-eyed.

Scott was the first to speak normally as he called out for Allison.

"I'm okay. I'm fine. Hope and Daphne showed up before Isaac could even get too close." Allison replied to her ex's concerned query, admittedly a little shaky as she was still trying to calm her heart rate.

"I'm sorry. I didn't- I didn't mean to do that." The blonde boy spoke full of regret and shame as he slid down the wall he was against and cradled himself into a small ball.

Allison moved her way around Daphne and placed a hand on Hope's shoulder. The moment Allison's hand touched Hope the gold in her eyes also faded away to her beautiful sea-blue orbs which surprised Scott as he silently wondered if Allison was also Hope's anchor.

"I'm okay." Allison answered more firmly than before as she directed the reply to Isaac.

"I'm so sorry." Isaac repeated with silent tears rolling down his face.

The Huntress moved in front of Hope and placed a reassuring hand over Hope's heart causing her to blink and face Allison as she looked between Hope, Daphne and Scott as she spoke. "It's not his fault."

Hope sighed as she let her anger dissipate since Allison wasn't holding a grudge against him. Daphne moved up beside Hope, still remaining behind her but hovering just over Hope's shoulder, watching silently as she witnessed the regret of the Werewolf's actions.

"I know." Scott replies knowingly to Allison's remark before sighing. "I guess now we know they want to do more than just get you angry. They want to get someone hurt."

Hope and Daphne glanced at one another and shook their heads. "We won't be a part of whatever you are about to do to piss off the Alpha Twins. We're already doing our own part pissing them off by keeping Aiden away from Lydia… Speaking of, why aren't you sharing what you know with Allison and Lydia? Aren't they members of your Pack? They had to learn from us that the twins were Alphas rather than you."

"We've been a little busy." Scott defended himself with a frown on his face.

Hope rolled her eyes as she walked past Allison. "See you later Ally. Call if you need anything."

Daphne followed behind Hope as she brushed Allison's bare arm on the way through, causing the ravenette girl to shiver from the small act of pleasure from the normally socially-distant blonde woman.

- - -

Hope and Daphne were sitting in their assigned seats but the blonde grew concerned when 5 minutes had passed and Allison had not shown up yet. Scott on the other hand cheerfully walked through the door and sat down right next to Ethan and Aiden.

"Okay, everyone. I know this is the last class of the day… To be honest, I want to get out of here too." Miss Blake announced as she glanced over towards the obvious supernatural area of her classroom.

Scott cheekily grinned as he leaned down to pull something that looked like a large gear that belonged on an expensive looking motorcycle. Hope wanted to bang her head on the desk as this wasn't going to keep Allison safe from the Alphas.

The Beta Werewolf placed the motorcycle part on the table with a small bang as he didn't need to slam the item down as both Ethan and Aiden were staring at Scott as he innocently feigned surprise as he looked down. "That looks kind of important…"

"I have no idea what that thing does." Scott announced as he pulled out another part of a motorcycle.

There was a roar of a powerful motorcycle engine that sounded awfully familiar to the twins.

Aiden growled as he stood up.

"Wait! Aiden don't!" Ethan shouted out as his brother ran out the door.

Miss Blake was remarkably confused as one of the Alphas she was hunting raced out of her room and moved to follow. The class took this as a sign to follow their teacher into the hallways.

"Let me guess… This has something to do with you?" Lydia whispered as she trailed alongside Hope and Daphne.

"Nope. Sorry. Wrong set of friends. You can blame Scott, Isaac and your best friend for this one." Hope replied with a hint of silent approval as this was something that she would have done in her universe just to piss off Alaric.

Lydia sighed and lowered her head. "Why are all of my friends trouble magnets?"

Daphne chuckled quietly as she bumped into the strawberry blonde's shoulder. "Hey! Don't lump me in with this lot and trust me when I say that you'll ask yourself this question very frequently because I do."

Hope wanted to shake her head in denial but Daphne did have a point. In their current Soulmate Trio, Allison and Hope were certainly the trouble magnets and trouble makers. Whereas Daphne was most definitely the level headed and neutral out of the three since she didn't have any outstanding supernatural responsibilities that her Soulmates had.

Lydia laughed as they were turning around the corner to be greeted by Aiden holding his bike with the engine running.

"What's so funny?" Allison wondered as she regrouped back with the class before she could be classified as truant by the teacher.

"Nothing much. Daph's just making fun of us." Hope answered light-heartedly which to Allison meant that the girls had been joking around.

Allison shook her head as she looked on as Aiden froze at the sight of all of his classmates staring at him.

Miss Blake's eyebrows rose as she took in the scene around her, internally she was impressed by what the Beacon Hills Pack could do to attract the Alphas attention away from her while she worked. But the memory of the Wolf Howl a week ago on the night of the last full moon was highly concerning her as she knew it wasn't Deucalion's Roar or Derek's or any of the other Alphas in the Alpha Pack. No.

This is someone new and someone powerful. Miss Blake was aware that Hope was a Werewolf as she saw her golden eyes the day of the crow attack a couple of weeks ago, making the girl a Beta or Omega. But she wasn't sure about the blonde who questioned her on her first day.

However the Darach was not going to squander this opportunity so she placed her hands on her hips with the most serious scowl she could muster as she called out. "You have got to be kidding me! You realise this is gonna result in a suspension?"

Aiden blinked as he looked down at his bike, looked over to his brother then onto the boy who had driven his bike into the school. Ethan followed Aiden's gaze and landed on Isaac and Scott who were smirking at them practically saying 'two can play at this game', as well as 'your move'.

"Why do I have the sensation that those two aren't going to take that lying down?" Lydia softly spoke into Allison's ear as she was the one without super hearing.

"Because, they aren't." Hope remarked as she rolled her eyes and walked away once she noticed that Lydia was staring off into nothingness as she silently strode away from the group by herself.

" Daph… Can you come with me? I think Lyds is going into a fugue state and I want to make sure she stays safe. From memory, I think I may need to leave sometime during this time with Lydia, Stiles and Deaton to make sure the Alpha Twins don't kill Allison's ex-boyfriend and her biggest regret. " Hope communicated to only Daphne through their bond.

The blonde Ice Witch subtly slithered away from the group like the cunning Slytherin she was born to be and followed Lydia and Hope into the Music room. " Are you seriously going to leave me alone with Stiles again? "

The class looked confused at the appearance of the three girls but didn't say anything about it while Lydia moved to the back of the room pulling out a pen and a spare notebook.

Hope and Daphne silently moved over next to Lydia and remained utterly quiet like statues, watching over the vulnerable Banshee like a pair of sentries. Occasionally the girls would take a peak over Lydia's shoulders as they watched her draw the fabled sacred tree, the Nemeton.

" Not for long. Just long enough for me to kick two Alpha Werewolves' asses then I'll be back… There's also a likely chance that Stiles will use Deaton to query what we are. He might be able to tell them that we are Witches, or maybe just you. I don't know ." Hope shared with her wife.

Some minutes have passed when Danny took a brazen chance after looking at Hope and Daphne, Lydia's apparent bodyguards and got a simple shrug in return.

Danny looked at his best friend's ex-girlfriend drawing. "Wow! That's like, really good."

Lydia somewhat broke out her trance at the question directed at her as she distractedly answered with her usual amount of sass. "I know, right?"

Danny quietly chuckled, missing Lydia's unique brand of snark and decided to banter back with her. "You should be in Art class."

Hope and Daphne shrugged a little at that. Lydia had some artistic talent, sure, but if your heart is elsewhere like Lydia's, it's better to just use art as a hobby or a calming exercise.

The strawberry blonde's half-conscious mind somewhat agreed with their silent observation. "Maybe…"

"Since you're not in Music?" Danny mentioned as he was starting to sense something was off with his old friend.

One of the students in the room loudly called out "Fifteen minutes!"

Lydia blinked as she fully came out of her fugued state and wondered what was going on as everyone around her was packing up and heading out the door. "What? What's that?"

Danny grew more concerned at that question as Lydia should know what the fifteen minute rule was. "Fifteen minute rule?... The teacher didn't show up?"

He watched as the both of the girls behind her closed in on his friend and shook his head. Maybe these two knew something about the supernatural that could help Lydia… Maybe that's why they followed her when she was obviously in one of those fugue states that Jackson mentioned to him.

Danny nodded his head towards them. The girls acknowledged him with a small nod of their own and the lacrosse player felt more comfortable with leaving Lydia alone with them.

Lydia traced her fingers over the lines of her tree with a frown and wondered what she was doing in the Music room.

"Hey." Lydia jumped as she turned around to see both Hope and Daphne.

"Dear God! You scared the hell out of me! Remind me to get you both a cat bell." Lydia nearly shouted at them.

"Sorry. But if it helps, this fugue state was actually quite short and all you did was walk into the Music room and drew that picture. Nothing else." Daphne offered apologetically.

"That's it?" Lydia asked in a quiet voice, still afraid of what her powers would drag her into.

"Technically." Hope answered. "Remember, we will teach you what your powers can do. The drawing. Automatic writing. You'll need to figure out what this means on your own. We already know what it is but your Banshee skills require you to figure it out on your own accord. Secondly, you walked into this room Lydia. A fifteen minute rule was called. Where's the teacher?"

Lydia's jade green eyes widened at this and turned to Hope. "You know… The teacher's dead isn't he?"

Hope looked down. "Yes, but your Banshee abilities will want you to prove this beyond a shadow of a doubt or you just keep returning here until you figure it out."

Lydia groaned. "I'm not going to find a dead body am I?"

"Not today. Today is about knowledge." Hope assured the stressed Banshee.

Lydia found the message on the recorder along with the tribal music and called Stiles as these two weren't going to give her any more clues but Hope did say she would be learning some things today.

Stiles showed up with Scott's boss, Deaton, which greatly confused Lydia until he took control of the situation. "Can we get a copy of this?"

The strawberry blonde nodded and took the recorder in her hand, activating the Bluetooth and transferring the file to herself and Stiles.

"Hey Doc? Any help would be, you know… helpful…" Stiles remarked as he shot a quick glance over to the new girls who were sticking to the edges of the room.

Deaton shook his head slightly as he didn't recognise them but he could tell they were powerful. "Each grouping of three would have its own purpose, its own type of power: Virgins, healers, philosophers, warriors --"

"Wait, wait, wait, wait. Warrior, could that also be like a soldier?" Stiles interrupted as the last person who was killed was in ROTC with Boyd.

Hope's ears picked up Scott and Isaac's pleased tones turned to a heightened heartbeat. "Excuse me. It appears that I'm needed elsewhere. It was nice to meet you, Mr Deaton."

Hope left the Music room without another word and ran towards where she heard the morphing of bones as the Alpha Twins shifted into their merged form of Voltron Wolf.

The Tribrid stopped out of sight in a corridor just off where the Werewolves were in the middle of their standoff.

"We can take him…" Isaac stated as he let his claws extend.

The Voltron Wolf roared and Scott looked absolutely terrified as he tried to stop Isaac from forcing them into a fight that they were sure to lose. "Are you kidding!?"

Isaac starts to move forward but Scott yanks Isaac back, "Isaac!" and leads the curly haired boy in the other direction.

The merged Werewolf let out another roar as they chased after the boys. Hope sighed to herself as she wondered why she was going to help out these two boys that didn't even trust her until she remembered that they are Allison's friends.

Hope used a burst of superspeed and strength as she shoulder barged into the larger Wolf and made yet another large crack into another wall within the school. The Tribrid chuckled to herself as she wondered if this school would survive her at this rate.

Voltron Wolf shook his head as he glared over at the person who hit him. Scott and Isaac froze at the end of the hallway after hearing the Alpha hitting the wall with a large smash and crunch. Both of their eyes widened as they saw Hope standing next to Ethan and Aiden's merged form without a worry in the world. Actually there may even be a hint of a smirk on her face.

The Alpha roared at Hope causing the two boys to cover their ears and their eyes to shine Werewolf gold but not Hope. Hope just smirked at the twice enhanced Werewolf.

The Voltron Wolf struck out with a powerful fist but Hope caught it in her left hand since Voltron Wolf was apparently right handed. The Tribrid squeezed her grip on the Voltron Wolf and heard his bones crunching under her strength.

Hope released the Alpha's hand before levelling a very powerful punch against the Werewolf's chest. The strength behind the punch launched Voltron Wolf all the way to the other side of the hallway which was close to 20 metres.

The merged Wolf slammed into yet another wall of the school however, after hitting the wall the Wolf's head nearly landed on top of a white walking cane.

"Hmm… Impressive… It seems that there is more in this town than I originally thought." The blind man spoke as he looked in Hope's direction with his Wolf sight.

The twins apparently heard Deucalion and shifted apart, separating back into Ethan and Aiden who wheezed a little at the pain in their chest at the powerful hit against their combined form as they stood a little stiffly in front of the older Alpha.

Deucalion uncapped the tip of his cane revealing a sharp metal spear tip embedded in the bottom of the cane. He swung his cane in an act of dominance, slicing both of the boys' cheeks shallowly, barely drawing blood from the two Alphas before capping the small hidden weapon.

"Are you sure you want to align yourself with these troublesome boys rather than the winning team?" The blind man offered the young woman who managed to beat two members of his Pack in a single strike.

Hope chuckled softly as she regarded Deucalion's righteous stance. "I align myself with those whom I consider friends or family."

"These two just happen to be important to someone who I consider family. Although, one thing you should know about me, Deucalion. I will do anything and everything to protect my family. Always and Forever." Scott and Isaac looked partially offended and curious about what Hope was stating, wondering who Hope considered family in their friend group and quickly realised that their only options were Allison or Lydia.

"If you attack any member of my family or anyone who is under my protection which happens to include these two Werewolves, the Argents, the Martins, the Stilinski's or Melissa McCall. I will personally kill every member of your Alpha Pack and I promise you that I wouldn't feel a slither of regret for my actions if this is the path you decide to take. You've been warned Deucalion." Hope calmly threatens the older man with a polite smile on her face, imitating her Uncle Elijah.

"That's too bad." Deucalion mentioned offhandedly as he learned the quickest way to get this powerful Wolf on his side.

He would need to take a member of her family and ransom this person's life against Hope in order to control this Werewolf's exceptional power against his unknown enemy that is hiding somewhere within this town.

Hope allowed her eyes to glow the most vibrant gold before letting her Vampire eyes bleed through giving her a burning orange and the darkened veins rushed down her cheekbones as she belted out her immense power. Showing that she was not someone to be trifled with.

"I know what you are thinking, Demon Wolf. It's best not to piss off a Queen. Threaten my family like you considered in your mind only a few seconds ago and you won't even make it to the doors of hell because there will be nothing left of you. Trust me." Hope informed the three Alphas in front of her with a growl in the back of her throat.

Deucalion leaned back as he heard her words as well as the power radiating from her in shock. Even the twins were showing signs of fear from the girl in front of them, Deucalion could smell the anxiety and fear coming from his Alpha Twins.

"Very well…" Deucalion mentioned cautiously as he left the school with the twins following behind him.

" What happened to not announcing your Queen status, darling? " Daphne wondered across the bond.

" Deucalion could sense my power anyway. I think he may have heard my roar last week but he didn't get confirmation on who it was until now, but there weren't many choices to choose from. It was either me, Scott or you and as you know I will always put the target on myself before allowing you or Allison to be placed in the crossfire. " Hope answered her wife with a shrug before leaving Scott and Isaac to their own devices.

Hope could feel Allison blinking in shock. " Is she always this selfless? "

" Yes. " Daphne quickly answered Allison's query before Hope could even interject to defend herself and sighed as the Tribrid shook her head.

Hope located where her wife was by her heartbeat and scent, she followed her senses and the lovely smell of fresh snow, parchment and oranges as she made her way back to Daphne, Lydia, Stiles and Deaton who were now in Mr Harris' classroom on a suggestion made by Lydia.

Stiles and Lydia were both holding onto one of Mr Harris' test papers until Deaton collected all the papers and placed them on Mr Harris' desk, swapping them around until they spelt out a word he was not pleased with.

"Stiles, you remember I told you 'Druid' is the Gaelic word for 'wise oak'?" Deaton started while Stiles nodded his head.

"Yeah…"

"If a Druid went down the wrong path, the 'wise oak' was sometimes said to have become a 'dark oak'. There's a Gaelic word for that, as well…" Deaton sighed as he explained the meaning behind what they were facing.

"Darach." Deaton, Hope and Daphne finished the Veterinarian's thought process.

Deaton and Stiles were shocked that the other two girls knew the word but the older man considered this for a moment.

"I know that at least one of you is attuned to a magical nature. Druid? Witch? …Darach?" Deaton questioned the pair with a skeptical eye.

"Witch." Daphne answered for herself with a nonchalant shrug, not really caring that she exposed herself to the Veterinarian and shell-shocked teenage boy.

Hope crossed her arms with a shit-eating grin on her face as she leaned against the doorframe. "Well… I just announced who I am to Scott, Isaac, the Alpha Twins and Deucalion. So I'll save some time there. I'm the Alpha to the Crescent Wolves… Queen of the Werewolves."

Deaton's eyes widened at the title the young girl gave herself but before he could tell her not to use such a title around someone like Deucalion. Hope saw Deaton's disbelief at her words so she allowed her eyes to glow a brilliant sunset orange, showing the truth behind her words as she let some of her power flow out naturally so the Hale's Emissary could sense her power.

"Dear God!" Deaton exclaimed in pure shock.

Hope turned her attention to the stunned Stiles, blinking owlishly as he tried to comprehend everything he learned in the last couple of hours. "Congratulations Stiles. You finally learned what we are. However this is all the information you will get from me or Daph considering your first response towards us was malicious in nature. You didn't even give us a chance. So figure it out yourself. Or ask him. Deaton is the Hale Emissary and a Druid. He should've been helping Derek from the moment he became an Alpha but he didn't… So why didn't he?"

Hope and Daphne left the room leaving Stiles with a slack jaw, Lydia with a frown pointed in Deaton's direction while the Veterinarian looked ashamed and guilty.

" Hope's a troll… Isn't she Daph? " Allison questioned emotionlessly as she was trying not to laugh.

Hope snorted loudly in the hallway at Allison's deadpan observation. Daphne was confused for a moment until the Tribrid whispered that a 'troll' in this circumstance is someone who loves creating mischief and chaos at the expense of others.

" 100%. She takes great pride in the ability to piss people off. " Daphne stoically replied with a wide grin plastered on her face that had the Tribrid rolling her eyes in amusement.
