Turning back to Tomoko after meeting her gaze, Haru gave her a piercing glance.
"Wait a minute… who are you?" he demanded, there being a look of confusion in his voice.
Tomoko blinked at him innocently. "Huh? Me?"
"Yeah, you. Damn, what are you doing here, and why?"
Tomoko smiled softly, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Can't I come see my darling?"
Haru growled, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. "Just go to your classroom, Tomoko."
The air in the room grew tense with an uncomfortable silence. Some of the students glanced away, faking a sudden intense interest in their notes, while others traded giggling looks, struggling to suppress their amusement.
Tomoko rolled her eyes theatrically and spun around on her heel with dramatic flair.
"Okay, okay. I'll leave," she tossed over her shoulder with a mischievous grin. "But you'll miss me!"
