I will always be there for you

I woke up at the sound of my phone ringing then I opened my eyes lazily and saw that it was a new number. "Hello! Who's this?"I asked,"Lee, You need to get to work" a female voice said "What? Madison? What the?!......How did you even get my number?" I asked "Does it matter Lee?" she said "I quit. And your boss knows so" I replied "Lee, He's the one who asked me to call you" she said "Ugh! Do you even know what time it is?" I complained. "Just be here" she said and she hung up. Frankly I didn't even know what time it was either so I checked my phone "Its almost 7pm." What the heck does this jerk want" I complained then I stopped and thought for a while "I ain't goin' no where. He's gon' have to come here and drag me himself if he wants me to set foot in that place" I told myself and went back to sleep.

"Lee! There's someone here to see you" I heard my dad yell then I moaned angrily. I stepped out of my room and stood outside my room and peered through the banister and saw Raphael then I rolled my eyes. "What the fuck are you doing at my house?" I asked, pissed off "To take you to work duh!" he said and I rolled my eyes. "I already told you I quit. Can't you take a hint" I said loudly. "You quit work?" dad said then I froze "Uhm dad I..." he cut me off "Lee, You know what we're going through and that job was our only chance to pull through" He said. "But dad I" He Cut me off again "Lee, honey. Whatever it is just settle your differences with your boss and go back to work. Please!" He said. "I'll be down in a minute" I said then I went back to my room, After some minutes I got out of my room and went downstairs and I found Raphael seated on the couch staring in my direction. "What?" I asked, "Nothing" He said, "So are we leaving or not?" I asked then he stood up and ran a hand through his brown thick locks and smiled then I raised my eyebrow at him. "Goodbye Mr.Ashton" He said then I turned to look at my dad who nodded in response. We stepped outside and head for the car in which we got in and drove off. The ride was awful silent and I just stared out the window till I decided that it was too quiet so I said something.

"Why do you even want me to go to work at this time?" I asked while staring at him, "We're not going to work" He said and my eyes widened. "What do you mean we're not going to work? Then where the hell are we going?" I asked him "My house" He said, "What? Why? No!" I said freaking out. "Relax Lee. I'm not gonna hold you hostage. Its okay if you don't wanna go" He said looking at me. "Yes,Yes I don't wanna go so can I go home" I told him then he laughed "No!" He said then I sighed "Oh my God!" I said holding my face "I'm in a car with a lunatic" I said. After sometime we arrived at this place I wasn't sure what it was, a huge gate with a capital "R" at the middle opened and the car got inside a huge compound. We passed a water fountain with dolphin statues. The car stopped and we got out and I saw this huge mansion and there were lights everywhere and it was so beautiful. "You look stunned" Raph said raising an eyebrow at me "What do you know?" I replied and we walked inside I was close behind him.

"So are you going to tell me why I'm here or not?" I asked, "Wait here" He told me then I sighed. I walked outside and saw this beautiful garden house and looked at different flowers and I picked a daffodil and I went and sat at a bench just the other side of the house. "You know you're funny" Raph said then I turned my head "What?!" I said, "When I tell you something you always seem to do the opposite" He said taking a seat next to me. I stared at him, "I picked a flower if you don't mind" I said "Its okay!" He said and he took the flower from my hands and moved closer to my face and I gasped quietly "What are you doing?" I asked and he kept the flower tucked just above my ear then he smiled "Now you look beautiful"He said and moved back. I was shocked "But I don't mean you weren't before--I mean I--well its not like" He stuttered and I chuckled then he sighed. "Some people think money is the only ticket to happiness" He said then looked at me "Isn't it?" I asked him.

"I lost my parents in a car accident. The only thing they left behind is their fortune to me but.." He stopped. "Its not what you want is it?" I asked, "I was diagnosed with a deficiency and that's when Madison decided that I needed a nutritionist to help me with my condition" He told me. "Raph I--" He cut me off "I don't think I have much time anyways" He said, "I'm so sorry. I had no idea" I said. "Now you know why you can't quit" He told me then he placed a hand on my hand and he looked at me straight in the eyes. "I need you Lee" He said and I couldn't help it but feel sorry for him and a tear rolled down my cheek. "Lee you're crying" He said and I wiped it off and sniffed a little, "Come here" I said and pulled him into a hug. "Don't worry, I'll do everything I can to help you" I said "I' ll always be here for you Raph" I told him then he replied a soft "Thank you" and we stayed in that manner for sometime.
