Kcrow was running through the wasteland as the Abomination chased after him,He had made a bet that the creature was designed for strength instead of speed and indurance, therefore he could have a chance at outrunning it.
If he had chosen the other creature he would very likely not be able to escape from it,and even if it had significantly less power and strength than the other one it would still most likely have enough to kill him without much difficulty, largely due to the extremely large and sharp looking claws.
As he was being chased through the desert wasteland Kcrow noticed that there was a part of the ground that seemed harder and denser than the rest,in that specific part there were signs of acidic corrosion all over except for certain parts which were covered by sand.
He got an idea and ran straight to these specific parts and stopped, the Abomination caught up with him and just as it launched its attack Kcrow dodged to to left and its Lance struck straight into the sand and the impact send Kcrow flying even more to the left causing him to barely avoid the acid that came flying out of a hole that was beneath the sand.
The acid fell on the monster and...besides the chains and Lance being quickly destroyed nothing happened.
'Is it immune to acid?'
Since Kcrow's plan failed he kept running,
He had spotted a conjunction of leafless trees a while back and was currently heading in its direction.
There was also an lake to the left side of the conjunction which led to a very small cave on the wall.
'The cave could maybe be a great way of protection against that thing, unfortunately by analyzing its hands its probably a better swimmer than I am'
The reason for this tought was that the creature seemed to possess webbed hands,
Like that of a merman.
He had also noticed that the monster seemed to possess an extraordinary ability to track and follow his movements and therefore was about to put an idea to the text.
Just as he reached near a tree and was about to crash into it he instantly jumped forwards to his left and went past the tree, the creature however, unable to turn its huge body in time crashed straight into it.
Despite looking very frail the trees had not collapsed an instead held the creature back,Kcrow had judged that it might be able to since it had signs of a certain type of acid corrosion and yet was mostly still intact.
Kcrow also confirmed that the creature's intellectual capacity was likely not high since it fell for such a trick.
Kcrow then headed in the direction of a tree with a long and thick branch at about 8 meters tall,as he went under the branch the monster hit its head into it and was again slowed down.
He also noticed that the webbed parts of its hand between the pinky and ring finger seemed to now carry an injury somehow, maybe it collided with the sharp thin branches, he kept going left since it had the most concentration of trees and eventually realized that the temperature was heating up drastically in a small amount of time.
He deliberately went even more to the left and the heat just kept increasing,He felt exhausted and on the brim of collapsing, but he didn't.
After all humans were specialized in endurance and enduring heat, the monster however,
'As I theorized,it's adaptability to humid and cold environments makes it less proficient at dealing with such a long run through the desert'
The being was now kneeling on the floor with an exhausted appearance.
Kcrow wasted no time and made sure to increase their distance even more until he arrived at a point where the concentration of trees was so high and they were so tall it would be difficult for the creature to spot him among them,Kcrow sat with his back to a tree trunk and rested, for he could no longer run properly.
7 hours later the Nightfall arrived and he could do nothing but hope the creature wouldn't find him as he kept wandering through the Forrest.
Kcrow knew he would have no choice but to return as he had no water left and was extremely thirty.
Fortunately the lake he had previously spotted was located to the left of the conjunction of trees, which meant it should be not too far from him, unfortunately the lake was mostly likely where the creature had went since after being out of its natural habitat for so long it was natural for it to desire the comfort of its natural elements.
Therefore instead of heading to the lake he first went to the hottest part of the conjunction of trees, it was so hot his shoes melted along some parts of his clothes, his feet were practically burning and his soles were getting somewhat peeled off,he walked so far the sand was now replaced by glass and then he encountered a particular looking set of trees, the trees were arranged in a circular shape and unlike all the others they Had Bright red leaves,in the middle of the circle lay a wooden Calderon,Kcrow carefully approached the trees and after spotting no danger went towards the Calderon,he spend some time examining the Calderon but found no use for it and it was far to heavy for him to carry with him so he placed it back were he found it and then went back to were he came from with severe caution and after treading half of the way there was still no signs of the monster.
Kcrow was dragging a massive piece of glass he took from the glass floor at the furthest end of the conjunction of leafless trees, once he reached the bridge he had crossed previously he started dragging the glass piece across it,it was an arduous process considering how tired he was and the state of his feet. But he accomplished it nevertheless, yet he was still not done as he exited the bridge and pulled the glass all the way to the right side,he crossed the bridge again and pulled the glass all the way to the left side. The glass was now completely separated from the bridge.
Kcrow sat down to rest and after 6 hours he went in the direction of the lake.
Arriving near the lake he could barely drink before spotting a familiar figure up ahead, the monster was starring at him with its red eyes,it's long white hair dangling in the soft wind contrasting its dark skin.
It seemed to be in the middle consuming an immense amount of tiny animals that resided in the lake, however it was now eyeing him like it had found more delicious prey.
The monster swam through the lake at rapid speed, considerably faster than its running speed.
Kcrow ran back the to the direction of the bridge but this time he crossed the piece of glass instead ,the glass was very brittle and was shaking as he ran but thankfully Kcrow only weighted 187 pounds therefore the glass did not brake,he had already reached near the end of the makeshift glass bridge and deliberately slowed down so the monster could catch up and when it was about to step on the bridge he jumped forwards and landed on the sand.
As for the Abomination, due to its enormous size the glass shattered the moment it stepped on it and the being barely managed to hold on with its left hand before falling down,But as it struggled to get back on solid ground Kcrow pulled 5 arrows and threw them as far as he could straight into webbed parts of the creature's hand, the poison from the purple fruits immediately took action and the monster's left hand went numb and it let go of where it was holding.
It tried to get up with its right hand that had managed to hold onto the ground just a while ago but its weight was too much leading to it falling down.
After the fall it still managed survive but was finished off by the poison.
What looked like an abyss of pitch black darkness was actually hiding an ocean underneath it seemed, since he heard the sound of something splashing in water.
Kcrow stayed still for a while but suddenly an overwhelming sensation of pain and disorientation struck him without warning,
A Visage of a Dark ocean came to his mind,in the ocean he saw the corpse and something else.
'A hand?'
After a while the gargantuan hand emerged out of the abyss holding the dead Abomination ,it then threw it in the sand and retreated back into the darkness.
