tournament

The classroom was dead silent. Everyone was either staring at Kai in shock or still processing what had just happened.

Kai rolled his shoulders, letting out a relaxed breath as he turned to face the camera Daniel was still holding.

With a smirk, he pointed at the screen.

"So," he said, casually kicking over a fallen chair, "if anyone out there thinks they're strong enough to take me on, or just wanna try their luck… come join the tournament."

Murmurs spread across the classroom.

Daniel grinned, adjusting the camera angle. "You sure about that? You just took out the strongest bully in school."

Kai chuckled. "Yeah? Well, there's always someone stronger, right?"

He leaned closer to the camera.

"And for those who just wanna watch? You're in luck."

Kai held up five fingers.

"For just 50 dollars, you can watch it live. See the fights up close, no school rules, no teachers stopping anything. Real fights, real action."

Some of the students gasped.

"The winner takes $2000. Second place? $1000. Third? $500."

Kai tilted his head.

"So… you in?"

Daniel laughed. "Damn, that was actually good. We're gonna make so much money."

Kai stretched his arms. "That's the plan."

Daniel stopped recording and checked the footage. "Alright, I'll get this edited. Gotta make sure we get this everywhere online. Trust me, people are gonna eat this up."

Kai nodded, then glanced at Tyler, who was still lying unconscious on the floor.

A smirk crossed his face.

Taking Back What's His

Kai crouched next to Tyler and casually reached into his pocket.

A few students gasped.

"Kai… what are you doing?" one of them asked hesitantly.

Kai pulled out a thick stack of cash.

"Huh," he muttered, flipping through the bills. "Didn't expect him to have this much."

One of Tyler's friends, still groaning on the floor, glared at him. "You can't just take that!"

Kai shrugged. "Why not? Consider it a participation fee."

Daniel stifled a laugh as Kai stuffed the cash into his pocket and stood up.

Kai turned to the class and gave a lazy wave.

"See you guys at the tournament."

And with that, he walked out, heading back to his classroom

A few days later:-

.

Kai sat in his classroom, arms crossed, staring blankly at the board. The teacher was rambling about something, but he wasn't paying attention. His mind was elsewhere—on the tournament, the money, and what came next.

Then, Daniel barged in.

"Yo, Kai!"

The whole class turned to stare as Daniel practically sprinted to his desk, grinning like he'd just won the lottery.

Kai raised an eyebrow. "What?"

Daniel slammed his phone onto Kai's desk.

Kai blinked. "Already?"

"Yeah, and people are going crazy!" Daniel pulled up the comments section, scrolling through the flood of messages.

"Bro, this guy is insane."

"I wanna see him fight more! Where is this happening??"

"Kai vs Tyler was the hypest fight I've ever seen in a school!"

"100 Punch looks OP as hell."

"Where can I sign up?!"

Kai couldn't help but smirk.

Daniel leaned in. "Dude, this is bigger than we thought. We're already getting DMs from people asking where the tournament is happening."

Kai exhaled. "Damn."

Daniel grinned. "Come on, let's go. We gotta check out the place before things get too crazy."

The Arena

The two arrived at an abandoned warehouse near the school—their tournament ground.

Kai had been here before, but not like this.

The place had completely changed.

Daniel smirked, watching Kai's reaction. "So? What do you think?"

In the center stood a makeshift ring—ropes, padding, even a marked fighting area. Around it were benches and crates for spectators, and Daniel had even set up a few lights. It looked… professional.

Kai whistled. "Not bad."

Daniel grinned. "Not bad? Bro, this is perfect."

Kai stepped into the ring, testing the floor. It was sturdy. He nodded in approval.

But then something bothered him.

Where were the weapons?

He looked around. "Hey… where's all the stuff?"

Daniel frowned. "What stuff?"

"You know," Kai waved his hand, "things to use in a fight. Chairs, sticks, bottles—anything."

Daniel blinked. "Why would we need—" Then he sighed. "Oh, right. Your fighting style."

Kai smirked. "Gotta use what works."

Daniel sighed. "Fine, fine. So what, you're gonna go shopping now?"

"Yeah. Can't have a fight without the right tools."

Kai cracked his neck and turned toward the exit.

"Be back in a bit."
