A tense silence filled the classroom.
Tyler cracked his knuckles, his smirk returning. "You really think you can take me on, Kai?"
Kai rolled his shoulders, glancing at the four guys behind Tyler. "Not just you, huh? Need backup?"
The students watching murmured amongst themselves. Everyone knew Tyler was one of the strongest fighters in school, but Kai had become an unknown factor after his last fight.
Still, five against one? The odds were stacked.
Daniel, standing near the door with his camera, muttered, "You better not lose, man. This is great footage."
Tyler chuckled. "I'll give you one chance to back off, hero."
Kai sighed. "I already told you. I'm not a hero."
Before Tyler could react, Kai kicked a nearby desk straight at him.
The heavy wooden desk slammed into Tyler's chest, making him stagger back. The classroom erupted in chaos as the other four guys lunged at Kai.
The fight had begun.
Using the Environment
Kai knew he couldn't take on five guys at once head-on.
Instead, he jumped onto a desk, using it as a launchpad to dodge an incoming punch. One of the bullies swung at him, but Kai grabbed a chair mid-air and slammed it into the guy's shoulder, sending him crashing onto the floor.
Another came at him from the side. Kai spotted a stack of textbooks on a desk and kicked them into the guy's face. The bully cursed, stumbling back as papers flew everywhere.
Kai didn't waste time—he grabbed a metal water bottle lying nearby and spun around, swinging it straight into the next guy's gut.
The sound of metal slamming into flesh echoed through the classroom as the bully doubled over in pain.
Tyler Joins In
Tyler, having recovered from the desk attack, grabbed Kai's collar and lifted him.
"You're fast," Tyler growled. "But let's see how tough you are!"
He threw Kai across the room.
Kai's back hit the classroom wall with enough force to crack the plaster. The watching students gasped.
Kai groaned, feeling the impact rattle through his body. Tyler was no joke.
As Tyler's crew regrouped, Kai clenched his fists.
No more playing around.
Activating: 100 Punch
A pulse of energy ran through Kai's arms.
His ability 100 Punch activated.
Kai dashed forward, his movements suddenly twice as fast.
The first bully tried to block, but Kai unleashed a rapid barrage of punches—one, two, three, four—each one landing with perfect precision.
The guy collapsed before he could even react.
Kai spun, delivering twelve punches in a second to another opponent's ribs, stomach, and face. The sheer speed overwhelmed him, and he crashed into a desk, unconscious.
One left.
Kai grabbed a nearby chalkboard eraser and threw it at the last guy's eyes. As the bully flinched, Kai closed the gap in an instant, his fists moving like blurs.
One hundred punches in ten seconds.
The bully hit the ground.
Only Tyler remained.
The Final Clash
Kai exhaled, rolling his shoulders. "Guess it's just us now."
Tyler clenched his fists. "Good. I was getting bored watching them lose."
He charged, throwing a punch.
Kai ducked, weaving through Tyler's strikes. He grabbed a fallen desk leg from the floor and swung it like a club, smashing it into Tyler's ribs.
Tyler staggered but recovered quickly, grabbing Kai's arm and hurling him across the room again.
Kai crashed into another desk, but this time, he was ready.
As Tyler rushed in for a finishing blow, Kai grabbed a half-empty water bottle and squeezed.
The sudden spray of water into Tyler's eyes made him flinch.
Kai seized the opening.
He delivered a full-power punch straight to Tyler's gut.
The impact was so strong that Tyler flew backward, hitting the wall hard enough to leave a crack.
The entire room went silent.
Tyler groaned, slumping to the floor. He was out.
Kai, breathing heavily, cracked his neck and turned to Daniel.
Daniel was still recording, grinning.
Kai smirked.
"That should be a good promo, right?"
